Defaulting of Currency in opportunities

Hello,
in an opportunity we copied an ORGMAN rule to an own one and changed the function module in the rule definition to "CRM_ORGMAN_ORGOBJECTS_FIND_11".
Before we did this, the opportunity had no currency defaulted and determined the currency of the BPs sales area data.
After using the new rule, the opportunity has the currency "EUR" defaulted and doesn't change in case the BPs sales area data has another currency maintained.
Is somebody having a clue why this is the case and how to change it.
Thanks in advance!
Best regards
Thorsten

In table T526, give all administrators the same ID (but different groups).
Example:
Admin Group 0001: PA1 PA administrator, PT1 Time administrator, PY1 Payroll administrator
Admin Group 0002: PA1 PA administrator, PT1 Time administrator, PY1 Payroll administrator
Write a dynamic action to fill the values PA1, PT1 and PY1 into the SACH* fields on creation of hiring action.
This way, the group will be defaulted by PINCH and your administrators will be defaulted by the dynamic action.

  • Default document currency as per document type for sales order

    Dear All,
We are facing problem in Default document currency as per document type for sales order,
Our requirement is not to give currency in customer master & set it as default document currency as per document type,
for example: Document type 'OR' default currency 'INR',
Document type 'ZEU' default currency 'EUR',
Document type 'ZUS' default currency 'USD',
Document type 'ZNP' default currency 'NRP,'
Document type 'ZAF' default currency 'RAND,'
Is it any how possible in standard setting ?,
    Regards,
    Sai

    Hi,
The system proposes the sales document currency from the customer master record of the sold-to party. You can change the currency manually in the document or change in currency in customer master. If you change the currency, the system recalculates prices for the entire document.
to determine different currrency in sales docuement you need to write an user exit and then overwrite the docuement currency copied from customer master. Try user exit 'USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAK' under include MV45AFZZ for this change.

  • Defaulting Document Currency in Sales Documents

    Hi,
We have a requirement where in we need to default the document currency in a sales document based on certain rules.
As far as i know, the document gets picked up automatically if a Billing currency is maintained in the Sales Area data of the Sold to party.
Just wanted to find out is there any other way by which we can pick the currency in a document ? I am looking at non custom ways of achieving this.
    Thanks in advance

  • Set default value to currency in oppt header!!

    hello friends
On the opportunity header data under frame forecast field total contracted value for the field currency we would like to have EUR as a default value, How is it possible??
    Please provide your helpful suggestions.
    Many thanks
    pankaj arora

    Hi,
If you would like to default the currency, you could do this by assigning
the currency to the Business partner and use the same business partner
    in the transaction?
You would have to maintain the appropriate business partner
    master data to use this.
The user would create a new opportunity, enter the sales prospect,
organizational data determination would take place and the currency
would be populated with the currency in the sales area dependent data
from the business partner master data.
Alternatively you can use the BADi CRM_OPPORT_H_BADI.
In order to implement this functionality, you should fill the currency
in the OPPORT_H segment. A BAdI implementation can be used for the
    OPPORT_H merge i.e. BAdI CRM_OPPORT_H_BADI interface CRM_OPPORT_H_MERGE.
At this point fill currency in the pricing segment and  appropriately
    fill and call the PRICING_MAINTAIN_OW.

  • Contract Currency and different User Default Currency

    Hi,
I have the following challenge related to contracts. I have maintained a central contract at country A which uses EURO currency (for example a value contract worth u20AC10K). Call offs (purchase orders) can be made against this contract by subsidiaries in other countries (country B and C). Users from these subsidiary offices have defaulted their currency as the correct local currency unit e.g. PLN, CHF. However when users from country B and C make call-offs (purchase orders) against the central contract the system appears to ignore their default currency and uses the contract currency of EURO in the call-offs (purchase orders). My question is as follows, is it possible to have a central contract maintained in one currency e.g. EURO and allow users to generate call offs against this contract in their local currency which can be different? If so can you please give me some guidance?
    Regards

    Hi
Hope you created a contract for 10000 EURO total value
Purchase order also created for PLN, CHF as EURO currency only which against the contract
so release value also updated in EURO only.

  • Right Align the Currency values in ALV report

    Hi Friends,
I have developed a report and displayed the output using the ALV. I have columns for currency values in the output table.
The fields for currency values are character fields. The values in the table for display, is properly right aligned (default for currency values). But in the output, the currency values are left aligned.
Since I need blank lines in the output table after each entry, I have used the character fields in the output table so that I can clear them and append it to get the blank line.
Please suggest me to get the currency values right aligned.
    Thanks in advance.

try with this field in field catalog.
             just(1)        type c,        " (R)ight (L)eft (C)ent.
for the currency field add this field too in field catalog. it will work.

  • Financial Analytics Reports in Local Currency

Advise needed to help in configuring BI Apps such that the Financial Analytics reports (GL, Payables, Profitability & Receivables) show the transaction values in local currency i.e. INR instead of the default global currency USD.
I have changed the source parameter values in the DAC Container Setup while loading the data from an EBS R12 instance. The following source parameters values have been changed to INR from USD -
    $$GLOBAL1_CURR_CODE (for the document currency)
    $$GLOBAL2_CURR_CODE (for the local currency)
    $$GLOBAL3_CURR_CODE (for the global currency)
However, the Finacial Analytics Reports do not show any transactional values for the selected Ledger (having INR as the global currency). The data is populated in the Local Closing Amount, Local Opening Amount etc columns of the Fact - GL Balance but no data is populated in the Closing Amount (Global), Opening Amount(Global) etc columns.
Please advise to resolve the above mentioned localization issue in Financial Analytics.

  • Foreign Currency setup in B1

First time to setup B1. Customer needs Local Currency is HKD, PO use China Yuan and System Currency is USD.
    1. In Company Detail, Local-HK, System-USA, Default Account Currency should use All or Local?
    2. GL COA each account need set Currency to HKD and Balance to HKD or ..?  Few GL account like checking in HK will be HKD, checking in USA will be USD.  How about all others GL accounts in G&A or sales and cost accounts?
    3. Admin, Setup, Financials, Currencies has HKD, USD, RMB...10 codes setup already.
    4. I could not locate HKD in Admin. Exchange Rates and Indexes.  Only saw RMD, USD, CAD, EUR, GBP, JPY, AUD,SGD.   I entered RMD 6.8447 with USD 1.00 for 12/21/08 exchange rate but did not work in JE to convert correct amount, I used FC for RMD (need HKD most). I need convert either RMD to HKD or HKD to USA or RMD to USD.  HKD can not work since I could not setup in Exchange Rates.
    5. How to setup correctly when you enter the data in HKD(LC) or USD (SC) or RMD (Foreign) will convert to another currency at once?
    Thanks.

    Gordon,
    3. The different currency setup already in B1.
    A. If I set USD $1 to convert RMD $6.8447 in FX rate.  Do I need setup anything else to populate the FC,LC and SC amounts in PO, AR invoice or JE (only will show Local and System Currency, not for All Currency GL accounts as I know)?
    B. B1 uses the LC then where I can setup LC to SC daily rate?  like USD $1 = HKD$7.7509
    C. In JE data entry has one option for Fix Rate, how to make this work? If I want to set US $1 = RMD $6.8447.
    D. New to this forum, how can I give the points to you?  I appreciate for your quick replies.

  • Currency Field Not Being Saved

    Hi,
I modified the BP_HEAD/AccountDetails view to include the address fields from BP_ADDR and also include a few EEWB generated fields - including a currency field. I am also defaulting the currency key field to 'USD' via BADI_CRM_BP_UIU_DEFAULTS. When a person creates an account, they need to press enter to be able to input data into the address fields. When this happens the currency key field is cleared and on save you get the message "Specify currency." If the user manually selects a currency, then everything saves ok. I have applied note 1347815, but it did not help. Please advise if you have any suggestions.
    Thanks,
    Bernard

    Hi,
Before defaulting the value, put a check to whether the Account ID is generated or not. You can default the value after the ID is generated for Accoount.

  • PLD: two type of currencies need different decimals in the same place

    Hi!  Expert;
I have a problem with decimals in PLD.
First, I tried currencies set up as "Without Decimal" but only works on System Variable areas.  I'm not happy about this result.
One currrency such as $, need two decimal places; however,
the other currency such as YEN, no need any decimal place
    Example:
Concat (f_111,' ',f_222) in this field
    Document Currency f_111
    Document Total f_222
I tried Round(F_222,0) and but both of them show 0 decimal even using link to and formulas -such as
    f_111 != 'YEN'
    f_111=='YEN'
Please help me !! Thank you

    Dear Naoko Miyakawa,
Please try the solution as following steps:
    1. In "Administration > System Initialization > General Settings > Display", set Decimal Places as 0 in Amounts.
    2. For currency YEN, set Decimals is Default
For currency $, set Decimals is 2 Digits
Then when you create the document the amount YEN will have not decimal and $ will have 2 decimals.

  • Financial Plan in Multiple Currency

    Hello,
In the HTML screens I want to create Budget Lines using Multiple Currencies. This means create a line in USD for a certain Task and for the same Task create also an Euro line. I've checked the Multiple Currency option at the Financial and Workplan also added each Currency to the Work - and Financial Plan. Still I'm not able to enter Budgte Lines in other than the functional currency USD. Can someone help me out on this one or send information how this functionality has to be ste up in Release 12?

First you need to do setup for the Multiple Currencies under "Plan Settings" Tab of Planning Options. Check "Plan Amounts in Multiple Currencies" check box and in the "Currency" Tab select the different currencies like EURO and give the rate.
Now go to your Budget Lines and add 1 budget line using your default USD currency. Now select that Budget Line which you have created using your Default Project Currency and also select "Add Currency: EURO" from the Drop Down List of "Select Planning Elements" and press GO button. This will create another Budget Line using EURO Currency. Now enter the Quantity & Cost and see the difference of Cost Calculation.
I hope it's clear for you.

    Khan.

  • Currency in CN41N

In CN41N, only the controlling area currency are used. My client recently rolled SAP out to other countries. The controlling area currency and the existing company code currency is still ZAR. A new company code was created in the existing controlling area. Th enew company code currency is USD, while the controlling area currency is ZAR. In the configuration it is stated that the controlling area currency is the default reporting currency.
In other reports, one can select to view the values in different currencies like company code currency or object currency, but this is not possible in CN41N.
How can one view the values in CN41N in company code currency and not in controlling area currency?

    hi,
can you please tell me how did you convert the values to a foreign currency?
    thanks a lot.

  • Invoice Block - Tolerance Key - Can currency can be changed??

    Hi Gurus,
We can set the below in SPRO,
Material Management->Logistic Invoice verification->Invoice Block->Set Tolerance Limit-> Here we can maintain for company code / Tolerance Key and details.
While we maintaining the tolerance key, depending upon the company code, the currency is defaulted. (Currency field is display status).
    1. We have a request to change this currency to different currency? is it possible?
    2. I find about 14 Tolerance Keys. Are these tolerance keys provided by SAP. Can we define or redefine tolerance key? if so, where?
Kindly inform me the above details.
    Thanks and Best Regards,
    Mohan

    hi,
    Example:
Suppose if you have set the del. cost in the PO as A...
    After this you do MIGO...
And then you come to MIRO, and in between suppose if the delivery cost increases or decreases(may be due govt. rules),
then in that case you try to save amount/pay more to the vendor.. or
In case if any or your employee is not entering the del. cost properly, then in that case, system shd check internally and throw a message for you and if req. block the invoice...
So, in that case just for precautions you use the this tolerance key...
if in case this happens assuming with my first example then you may need to release this IR manually..
Formula i have provided above by which system calculates this all..
    Regards
