Defective track copied to phone

I have a bit of a strange situation.
I have an audiobook which has each chapter made as a separate track in the book album. As I was listening to the book, I encountered a couple of tracks whcih when played through my iPhone 5 have a echoing sound. I listen to the same track using iTunes for Windows (latest version) and the track sounds perfect.
I removed the audiobook from my iPhone by unchecking the audiobook sync in iTunes, synced my phone, ejected it and looked at the phone. The Audiobook was gone from my phone.
I then reconnected my phone to iTunes and turned audiobook syncing back on and instructed it to sync. The sync was successful. I listened to the track on my phone and it was still defective. During the sync, iTunes did flash at the top that it was copying the files back to my phone.
So, the bottom line is that i have several tracks that sound perfectly on iTunes in Windows, but when synced to my iPhone sound crappy. How can I fix this?

Please ignore this message....
I finally discovered that my phone had somehow been toggled to play the track at .5x speed which was causing the issue. I am not sure how that got toggled on. I didn't even realize that was an option, but after toggling it to play correctly at 1x speed, the tracks sound correct.

Have downloaded for example: Queen – Bohemium Rhapsody from a compilation album as well as a few complete Queen Album CDs into the iTunes library and then put them into playlists,
When I go onto my phone and select Queen on the MUSIC app using Songs tab at the bottom of the screen it will display all Queen songs and their resective Alum pics, that is all those not in a complilation album, .
If I know the song title I can select the songs tab and find the song that way,
I’ve tried fiddling with the settings in the iTunes app by going to ‘get info’ tab and trying to sort the problem out that way but am not having much luck.What I want the phone to do is show, for example all Queens songs including those in compilation albums. Can this be done, would be grateful for any ideas on how it can be done, that is if ic can be done, any ideas

Try assigning Queen as the Album Artist on the compilations in iTunes on your computer.

How is my data useful to him and can he restore this data on another iPhone and run it parallel to mine? I have had people send me messages which I have not received. These have been screen shot to me later including time and I have just not got them. I had 4 weeks worth of messages go missing from my phone..I know that he synced my phone because his work laptops I'd came up in my settings. Also if the above can be done can he change the settings on my actual phone and access my location without placing tracking software on my phone. Can someone please help here as I can't restore a backup to my phone for obvious reasons and refuse to change my number because of this loser.

Connect the device to the computer.
In iTunes, select the content desired to sync.
Sync.
This is all described in the User's Guide, reading it may be a good place to start.

Z10 HowDoI copy a phone number from a contact and paste it into a text message?
Help Please. It should be so simple but in the maze of approaches to contacts from the phone or home screen which ever way you get there; how do I select a phone number, copy it and paste it into a text message to another contact so that I can send it on?
The logic of the interface is totally baffling to me most of the time. Can't there just be one contacts interface so that when you enter it from anywhere it presents the same options to edit etc. Cannot the three blobs be called up to allow a proper edit menu - copy/cut/paste/delete.
Can the favourites be held permanently in screen at the top with the rest of the contacts scrolling below them?
Can it be set up so that contact pictures do not show to save screen space?
Any help on any of these - much appreciated.

How Do I copy a phone number from a contact and paste it into a text message?
The only option would be to to select the edit option on the contact and hold your finger on the number and select the copy option on the left side panel.
Can the favorites be held permanently in screen at the top with the rest of the contacts scrolling below them?

As long as you have iCloud Control Panel installed on your computer, they should show up in your Pictures folder under My Photo Stream.

Location Tracking of Nortel Phones with MSE / Aeroscout

Hi there
actually we can track laptops and other CCX devices with our MSE and Aeroscout equipment. The problem is that we can't track Nortel IP phones. Has someone ever did this configuration and what is important to take a look at. I don't know anything about Nortel, so this would be helpful.

I think the AeroScout engine in the MSE only tracks CCX devices, so you are right that it will not work with CCX. I already asked AeroScout and they told me that it is not a problem of AeroScout, its a problem with Cisco (MSE and WCS)...
It's true, the phones are on the WCS, but can't get tracked in the maps. Maybe I try to contact Nortel and ask there.

No. You have to download and enable "Find My iPhone", set up iCloud, turn Find My iPhone on in iCloud, set up Find My iPhone on you computer, or go to icloud.com to access it. The phone or device has to have a Wifi connection to be seen. If it has been wiped by the thief or thieves, then you would not be able to see or manipulate it anymore.
If you do not have Find My iPhone and iCloud and everything set up ahead of time, then you can't do anything period.

Issue with selecting or copying a phone no. in dialing or direct calling from websites

Dear All,
I remarked that in Z10 I cannot use in dialing screen neither copy/paste phone numbers nor calling direct from email or websites by selecting the phone no. and taping on it.
This seems to be a bit annoying when you try to make a call from web or inside the email text, because you do not have even the possibility to paste the copied number into the dialing screen.
Somebody knows if is possible to do it, as in the other phones ?

The dial pad does not allow you to paste a number. But within an email, text message, web site, BBM message, if its a valid phone number example 416-967-1111, it shows the number as blue, Just clik and hold it and a slider appears on the right(copy, call, send text message, View contact, share/NFC, share, ope in). If you just tap it, it will start to dial the number.

Copy-paste phone number in Safari

I tried to copy a phone number in Safari on my iPod Touch 3.1.2. I wanted to paste it in Notes.
After highlighting the phone number to copy, the OS only offers the selection to be added as a contact. That is nice, but it would be nice to have the option to just copy the selected number as well.
Is there any way around this?

Unless Apple announces, there is no way to know what will be included in a future update. They very rarely announce.

The iphone 5 can only be located if connected to a data or mobile network. If in Airplane mode or switched off, it can't be found.

Defect tracking software

Apologies for posting this on the LabView forum, but I did not see a general tools board.
Can anyone recommend an enterprise level defect tracking software?
I am familiar with a lot of software only (VCS and bug tracking), but need something that can handle
software, documentation, customer service calls, etc.
I figure someone on this forum probably has experience with something that they like (or think should be avoided).

First a disclaimer: Although I might hold the title to Bug King of the Universe, I have not used bug tracking software other than the afore mentioned Excel. So I am speaking from ignorance as a fellow-searcher-for-good-free-coding-aids.

We have many options for controling and restricting the child lines that can be done right from your My Verizon account verses their devices . If you enabled Find My iPhone, you may be able to track it by logging in to icloud.com, click on Find My iPhone and seeing if the phone's location is listed.
If you did not enable Find My iPhone, there is no way to try to track your phone.

Lifeblog won't copy from phone?

I have an n95 with latest version of pc suite updated as of today, latest firmware on phone (again as of today). When I use lifeblog on pc suite and tell it to copy from phone I get the error message "You have an incompatible version of lifeblog on your phone." Hmm am I missing something here?

Yep I agree. The camera is really pretty good whereas the iPhone camera is (well, I could get offensive but ...). The 95 is a good 'un and I've taken some quality shots. Shame that the lousy operator MMS inter-network gateways make it such a random experience sending those pics to friends tho. I reckon 50% get through.
Returning to the topic of rubbish Nokia software I have just discovered a new "feature" of PCSuite that exemplifies the problem. There are 2 versions of PC Suite out there. One is the Nseries version of PC Suite which sort-of solves the Lifeblog issue by converting everything into Nokia Photo (although you can't see the photos you've taken in the lifeblog timeline like the old version). However if you try using One Touch Access in the Nseries PCS on the N95 8gb it doesn't recognise the modem. WHEREAS if you download "regular" PC Suite version 7 it is exactly the opposite. One Touch Access works as intended and without a glitch, but v7 doesn't synchronise with Lifeblog.
What I would *really* like is one version of the software that works with both applications. This however is obviously not cool enough for the developers to worry about ...

Why is find my phone tracking a different phone

When trying to locate my iphone, find my phone is tracking someone's phone other than mine. I did have an iphone stolen about two years ago. Anyway, I need to be able to track my phone.
Any help?
