Define a SAML Attribute whose value is not in any data store
I attempting to define a SAML Attribute in Sun OpenSSO Ent 8.x, whose value is not in any data store. I need to assign static text. The SP requires a unique value for all assertions under the same company. This is their method to help ensure an employee and assertion are for the correct data. For example,
<saml:Attribute Name="AccountID">
<saml:AttributeValue>ref-193749900</saml:AttributeValue>
</saml:Attribute>
I have not found a way with the OpenSSO admin portal. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Any response to this? I have the same need.

VMM 2012R2 UR4 - Version 3.2.7768.0
Not sure when this started happening since I haven't had to update or create a new RunAs account in VMM in some time, but every time I do, either through the console or through PowerShell it throws an error about The specified directory service attribute
or value does not exist. The VMM Service account is the same as it always has been, and other than this issue everything with VMM is working fine. The full text of the error message is below.
I am hoping someone has some ideas because I don't have any more at this point.

Sys_refcursor not fetching any data although query returns value
hi!!!
I am using sys_refcursor to return columns,and using below procedure to do so.Although data is there in table_1 and table_2.
PROCEDURE test_pro(abc_date N DATE,
cur_get_data OUT sys_refcursor
OPEN cur_get_data
for
select A.col1,B.col2
from table_1 A
where A.dis_date=abc_date
left outer join
table_2 B
on
A.dis_date=B.dis_date;
IF cur_get_data%rowcount=0
then
raise e_error;
END if;
EXCEPTION
when e_error
then
------no_data_found;
when others
then
--------(giving SQL error with error code);
END test_pro;
while running below sql in sql window of pl/sql developer fetching
data
select A.col1,B.col2
from table_1 A
where A.dis_date=abc_date
left outer join
table_2 B
on
A.dis_date=B.dis_date;
but while testing the test_pro in test window of pl/sql developer it is
not fetching any data and raising e_error each time
is there any problem arising using IF cur_get_data%rowcount=0 as each time it is going to exception block..
so can somebody please put some ideas what cud be the possible reason for this??Welcome to the forum!

A cursor doesn't fetch data - your code has to do that. The code you posted doesn't have any FETCH statements so no data will be fetched.
There is no problem using 'IF cur_get_data%rowcount=0' but it will always be 0 in your code because you are not fetching any data.
I'm guessing that you are trying to determine if there are any rows for the query. That isn't going to work since a cursor doesn't fetch rows.
You just have to return the cursor to the caller and the caller will have to perform at least one fetch to see if there are any rows.
If the above answers your question the just mark the question ANSWERED. Otherwise, since you have posted in the wrong forum
1. repost the question in the SQL and PL/SQL forum

Search Item drop-down does not show any data for Advanced Search.
Hi,
I have a requirement to add a new criteria to the existing Advanced Search region of 'My Employee Information' in Manager Self Service responsibility. I substituted the AdvancedSearchVO to include the new column. Using personalization i did the below steps to show the new column in the page,
1) Created a 'Message Styled Text' item under Table Layout region to display the result. I associated the View Instance (AdvancedSearchVO1) and View Attribute (AttrColumn).
2) In Advanced Search Panel created a new CriteriaRow and set the 'Search Allowed' property to True.
3) In Advanced Search Mappings i tried to create the new mapping but the Search Item drop-down does not show any of the CriteriaRow item. But Results Item shows the 'Message Styled Text' item created in step 1 above.
Any idea what i would be missing becasue of which 'Search Item' property does not show any data?
I am using OAF version 12.1.1.
Thanks, SureshHi,
I faced the same situation but i still waiting for the solution.. this is my problem's thread..
Addition of LOV Search Filter using Personalization
But when i tried to create a new custom page with advanced table and created a new LOV column via personalization. i was able to create new search mapping.. but this is not happening in the seeded page case :(.
I m also looking for solution...if any one can provide some inputs on it , will be highly appreciated.
Thanks

Corresponding table in the source system does not contain any data -URGENT
Hi Guru's,
I have already uploaded master data.
I have created infosource added infoObjects to it and activated it to create communication strucure.
M using RSA1OLD transaction.
and assigned datasource to infosource ie source system name and clicked ok.
save datasource to infosurce assigned msg displayed, clicked ok.
transfer rules r created, i have also created update rules and assigned infosource to it.
then created infopackage n added execel file name .csv
in datatargets tab selected data target as infocube. n then in schedule tab start data load immediately and clicked ok.
everything is fine upto schedule n in monitor it does not display any data.
what will be the problem??i have also created update rules and assigned infosource to it.
then created infopackage n added execel file name .csv ??
Are you loading the data from flat file or R3? If you are loading it from R3, why are you giving the Flat file name?
In this case, check in RSA3 (R3 side), whther the datas source is getting the value.
In case you are loading a flat file, you need to create a flat file data source and assign to the infosource.
Thanks..

Custom reports in R12 not returning any data
I'm seeing an issue of custom reports in R12 not returning any data. So far what I've been able to dig into is that the report query itself is referring to APPS synonyms that are secured under MOAC. What I am able to do is run the query in SQL Developer after having run mo_global.set_policy_context and I receive the data I'm looking for. This is not the case when running the report through the concurrent programs request.
Secondly, I've also configured the concurrent program request to run as single operating unit mode. This aided in fixing any issues with LOVs on the parameter form. However, still no results from the report itself. I've also searched around quite extensively and added a P_CONC_PROGRAM_ID user parameter in reports developer, as well as adding SRW.USER_EXIT('FND SRWINIT') to the before report trigger and SRW.USER_EXIT('FND SRWEXIT') to the after report trigger as well. No luck. I've also tried running mo_global.set_policy_context on the before report trigger and no such luck.
Has anyone seen similar issues with this and could shed some light? At this point, the workaround I would see is to just change the query to use respective all tables and match up against the orgid, but I'd rather not do that.I am facing exactly the same issue with 2 of my custom Reports in R12.1.3. We did our level best to find out the issue. It was always a hit and trial fix.
But the following were our observations and workarounds
0) The reports Conc Prog were in MOAC - Single mode. Both the reports had SRW INIT, EXIT and P_CONC_REQUEST_ID
1) The reports which caused the issues[NO data fetched for MOAC] had multiple Queries in the data model and one Query fetches data and the 2nd one doesnt. Both the queries when run from SQL developer after setting the org gave results.
Workaround for Report1
a) We deleted the data link connecting the 2 columns in both the queries and added a bind variable instead in the 2nd /child query to refer to the column in the parent query and linked the 2 groups.
Workaround for Report 2
a) In report 2 the queries were not linked to each other. Only one query used to return results and the 2nd one returned 0 rows. The workaround was to use the "where" conditions as lexical parameters after having set the value for the same in before report trigger.
Both the work around looks illogical. Still It worked..!

ACS Report - User_Usage_Logon - not returing any data and the report never finishes
Hi,
i'm trying to run the User Usage report, but not getting any data output.
i tried to open the report in the report builder to check the query,, but the query is in XML format and i'm not able to figure out the actual query that pulls out the data.
i need help on the below :
1. way to check , if the ACS database , does actually have any data.
2. to pull out the actual query from the XML data.
thanks,
SameerHi,
As we only have one report experienced this timeout issue. Given this situation, we can try the following steps to narrow down the issue:
1.Run the report directly through SSRS report manager URL to test if we still get this issue.
2.If yes, increase the timeout limitation for this single report.
3.As for further investigation, we can enable SSRS verbose logging by referring to the following steps:
Enabling verbose log in Reporting Services Instance :
To enable the verbose logging for the Reporting Services instance you have to follow below steps.
Go to location
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS11.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportServer\bin
Find the ReportingServicesService.exe.config
file, make a copy first, and then open it in editor and change the below configuration.
<system.diagnostics>
<switches>
<add name="DefaultTraceSwitch" value="4" />
</switches>
</system.diagnostics>
<RStrace>
<add name="FileName" value="ReportServerService_" />
<add name="FileSizeLimitMb" value="32" />
<add name="KeepFilesForDays" value="14" />
<add name="Prefix" value="appdomain, tid, time" />
<add name="TraceListeners" value="file" />
<add name="TraceFileMode" value="unique" />
<add name="HttpTraceFileName" value="ReportServerService_HTTP_" />
<add name="HttpTraceSwitches" value="date,time, clientip,username,serverip,serverport,host,method,uristem,uriquery,protocolstatus,bytesreceived,timetaken,protocolversion,useragent,cookiereceived,cookiesent,referrer"
/>
<add name="Components" value="all:4,reportrendering:4,http:4" />
</RStrace>
You have to restart the Reporting Services from Reporting Services configuration manager.
4.After enable the verbose logging, reproduce this issue again by running the report, record the timestamp when we start the report, when the error popped up.
5.Then check SSRS log files at the following path, in the file which contain the issue time, check if there is any error message.
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS11.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\LogFiles

Hello Pinki
You need to check the settings in your different systems
the #group of organizational views# MSS_LTV_EE is maintained
for the Team Calendar and MSS_LEA_EE for the request mode.
Check the IMG step
Integration with Other mySAP.com Components ->
Business Packages/Functional Packages -> Object and Data Provider
-> Organizational Structure Views -> Group Organizational Structure vieMSS_LTV_EE (Team: Employee selection): the two organizational
views MSS_LTV_EE_ALL and MSS_LTV_EE_DIR are assigned.
MSS_LEA_EE (Leave Request: Employee Selection) the two
organizational views MSS_LEA_EE_ALL and MSS_LEA_EE_DIR are assigned
These organizational views are defined in IMG step #
#define Organizational Structure views#:
They have the following Object selections:
MSS_LTV_EE_ALL: MSS_LTV_EE_ALL (All Employees)
MSS_LTV_EE_DIR: MSS_LTV_EE_DIR (Team: Direct Reports)
MSS_LEA_EE_ALL: MSS_LEA_EE_ALL (All Employees)
MSS_LEA_EE_DIR: MSS_LEA_EE_DIR (Absence: Directly Subordinate Employees)Then you have to check the IMG step # Object
Also check these
Please use the evaluation path "ORGASS".
To change the evaluation path kindly go to the view V_TWPC_V , look for
the ESSDIR view and double click on the ESSDIR.
Please check the above customisation,
Tthe evaluation path SAP_MANG is used to determine
the root objects. "Eval.Path for Root Objects" on the detail
screen in the view V_TWPC_V "View Definition" for further information onthis topic).
Also check the customisation using
report RHSTRU00
In view V_TWPC_VG, the view group PTESS of view ESSDIR with position
01 should exist. Please correct it as well
and ensure that
In the View Cluster(T-Code SM34) VC_TWPC_ORGVWGRP there should be
a record for the group 'ATTEND'.
Hope this will help you.

Could not find any data to display - how to modify system message
Hi,
We created an exception report in the Web Application Designer.
If there are no exceptions (so there is no data to display) the following standard system message is shown:
Could not find any data to display. This might be due to the current selection of variable or filter values
We would however like to modify/remove this message.
How can this be done?
Thanks

Product Revenue Bookings and Backlog Dashboard does not display any data
Product Revenue Bookings and Backlog Dashboard does not display any data even though the load completed successfully.
They are able to see just the parameters.
Not sure if the upgrade of the database from 9.2.0.6 to 10.2.0.3 is a factor.
What can I check?
Is there some table to verify that the data exists for display in the Product Revenue Bookings and Backlog Dashboard?
Screenshot is at:
https://gtcr.oracle.com/gtcr-dir/gtcr_5637/6415786.993/Product_Revenue_Bookings_Backlog_Dashboard.doc
Support suggested to create a new request set and run the initial load with load all summaries option; but there was no change in the Product Revenue Bookings and Backlog Dashboard.
Any ideas?hi
We have faced the similar problem after the upgrade to 10G
What we did was
Ran the initial load of time dimension, Item setup request set, and the request set of all the dash board in the clear and initial load mode..
we were able to get the data once the clear and load is completed successfully

ReportViewer control used with a remote report does not display any data.
Hi there,
I have this .rdl report that runs just fine on our reporting server (I can see that when I try to run the report by accessing its URL in a browser). However, when I run it in my Windows-based application, I do not see any data. My report has two input parameters
and it needs to impersonate the caller's identity because the database uses Windows Authentication.
Here is the code I use:
var reportViewer = new ReportViewer();
// Set Processing Mode
reportViewer.ProcessingMode = ProcessingMode.Remote;
// Set report server and report path
reportViewer.ServerReport.ReportServerUrl = new Uri("http://MySsrsServer/reportserver");
reportViewer.ServerReport.ReportPath = "/Reports/MyReport";
// set the credentials
reportViewer.ServerReport.ReportServerCredentials.ImpersonationUser = WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent();
// create report parameters and set them in the report
var param1 = new ReportParameter("First_Param", "Some string");
var param2 = new ReportParameter("Second_Param", "Some other string");
reportViewer.ServerReport.SetParameters(new ReportParameter[] { param1, param2 });
using (var reportForm = new ReportForm(reportViewer))
reportForm.ShowDialog();
The ReportForm is just a regular Form that has a member of type ReportViewer. In the class' constructor, I assign the member:
public ReportForm(ReportViewer reportViewer)
InitializeComponent();
try
this.reportViewer = reportViewer;
reportViewer.SetDisplayMode(DisplayMode.PrintLayout);
reportViewer.Dock = DockStyle.Fill;
reportViewer.ZoomMode = ZoomMode.Percent;
reportViewer.ZoomPercent = 100;
reportViewer.RefreshReport();
catch (Exception exception)
MessageBox.Show(exception.Message);
Using database level tracing, we were able to confirm that the two Stored Procedures used by the report are called and they return correct and valid records. However, in the form nothing shows up:
Any suggestions?
TIA,
EdGood to know CR doesn't like joins of Stored Procedures to something else.
But in my testcase, I finally dropped the link between the ttx file and the stored procedure. Doing so, I was able to run the report from the designer with the stored procedure as datasource instead of the ttx file. At that moment, I still had missing data in my report, while the resultset of the stored procedure returns me all the correct data !
In the mean time, I changed the layout a bit, especially the text fields containing name, address, country and postal code and city of the customer, by just adding some spaces between those seperate databasefields. In fact, there is one text box with all those database fields concatenated one to the other.
And by just adding some spaces in between, my report works fine again ?!
Strange, strange, strange,....
