Define an applicant activity in SPRO

Hi All,
Can anyone please advise if we can delete the existing (standard) applicant activities in SPRO and modify the existing one ?
e.g. After we do initial data entry action in PB40, the planned activity: WW-RECEIPT automatically gets created. It has been defined in SPRO - Personnel Management -Recruitment -Applicant Selection -Applicant activities - Applicant activity types - Change automatic creation of applicant activities.
Feature PACTV is maintained.
Please advise.

Hi,
indeed the automatic creation of Activities is defined in PACTV.
You can delete the node "1 In process" and no activity will be generated.
Alternatively, you can bring the Activity in the foreground (INDIC A instead of INDIC S) so the user can choose whether to save it or not.

Doe not seen Applicant activity in PB60

Dear All
I am working on Recruitment, I have configure all the steps in SPRO,
even i had create applicant activity but when i go to T code PB60 and enter the applicant no then execute screen display but applicant activity does not display in compl activity and planned activity.
can anybody tell me where i am doing mistake, how the applicant activity would be display
plz help me out

Hi,
Like u had said In PB60, please enter the applicant number and execute. You will c the list of activities performed for this applicant in the bottom of the screen. definetly the activities will be displayed. if no activity is visible, then it means that the activities were deleted.

1.) Create :
      Select the activity that requires the data, and choose Edit - Maintain reference, then choose Edit - Choose reference   activity. Save.
2.) Delete :
     Select the activity whose reference activity you want to delete, choose Edit - Maintain reference.Choose Edit - Delete reference. Save.
3.) Modify :
     Select the activity whose reference activity you want to change, and choose Edit - Maintain reference. Select the activity you want to define as the new reference activity, choose Edit - Choose reference activity. Press Confirm botton.Save.

How to define the default activity for an unbounded task flow?

In the new "Fusion Developer’s Guide for Oracle Application Development Framework 11g Release 1" documentation at the bottom of page 14-3 it states "An unbounded task flow .... contains a default activity, an activity designated as the first to run in the unbounded task flow, because an unbounded task flow does not have a single point of entry."
What I can't find is how to define the default activity in an unbounded task flow and where this is recorded? Can we set this via the task flow diagrammer, and which configuration file is it stored?
I note the first time I run the application with an unbounded task flow a dialog asks me which of the activities in the adfc-config.xml file to make the default, but I can't find where this is recorded.
Anybody have any ideas?

In fact this information is nothing that belongs into the taskflow meta data because unbounded taskflow have more than one entry point and there is no notion of default. Its a tools setting (JDeveloper) we had before

FBZP - Form RFFOAVIS_FPAYM is not defined or not active

Hi SAP Experts,
I need your help please...
In FBZP when i try to assign form RFFOAVIS_FPAYM from Co Code 1000 to Co Code 2000 i am getting error message as
Form RFFOAVIS_FPAYM is not defined or not active.
Co Code 1000 is of US and in Pay Method country for US PMW is used with format as ACH, while Co code 2000 is of country Canada...please tell me how to assign it

As suggested by Ravi i check in SE71 but the form is not available in Language EN. But still for the other Co Codes this form is working perfectly fine in Production.
Is there some configuartion remaining from my side. As i was working with abaper they said that some config is missing.
Kindly advice how i can assign this form to my new co code

Applicant Activity - Need to load resume

Hi,
I' am working on a program which will create an 'applicant activity' 'Load resume'(908).
It seems that it will not be possible through
the bdc of PB60, since a word screen is opening up
for creating the resume.
If any one has successfully faced such an issue please
provide the solution.
Otherwise please provide function modules by which an applicant activity can be created or a word document
can be uploaded.

Now I was trying to update 4003(applicant activity) separately and use the macro rp-exp-c3-al to load the resume. But it seems to be not working out. If any one has experienced similiar situations, please help me out.

Applicant activity (IT4003)

HI friends,
I'm facing the problem in applicant activity (IT4003) that is as I'm aware of that the infotype has to create by system in baground process when performing applicant action.
Here if I perform appl actions in foreground (PB40) it is getting created, but if actions performed in baground (Upload data through LSMW or BDC) it is not getting created. In this connectin if I try to transfer uploaded applicant data sys throuing error applicant activity not found (IT 4003 data not found if data uploaded for applicant through LSMW, if we do foreground (Manually pb40) I found data in IT 4003.
Kindly let me know the solution for the above citd issue.

Hello,
we implement SAP ECC 6.0 with Best Practices Base Line, in the transaction SPRO some IMG activities are missing
Logistic Execution --> Shipping --> Basic Shipping functions --> Shipping Point and Goods and Receiving Points Determination --> missing the following activities:
Set Up Storage-Location-Dependent Shipping Point Determination:
--> Define Rule for Determination of Shipping Point
--> Assign Shipping Points According to Storage Location
how we can activate this activities again in the SPRO transaction??

ReG Applicant activity Maintainance

Hi guys,
Plz help me in maintaing the applicant activities for an applicant in recruitment component.
When I am trying to maintain it s giving the error as
"Record 000000064003 00 200810232008102300020081023ARUN does not exist".
It is not givina any technical details like table , view name where the record gets inserted.

Now I have to assign the planned activity (interview call) for dat internal applicant.
so the error is comming when Iam maintaing the planned activity.
The error is not comming if I perform the activity for external applicant.

Define outcome for Activity

Hi,
How to define outcomes in an activity. I have in default 'Step executed' and 'Processing obsolete'. I have designed the screen which has approve and reject button. I will get the flag for that as per user action. After that I need to process the cosecutive steps when it is approved or rejected. So that I need 2 outcomes. How can I define it in my activity. Help me please. I dont like to use condition after my task.

In your method definition screen (double-click the method in SWO1 edit mode) you must select the "Result parameter" checkbox in the "General" tab. Then in the "Result type" tab specify a reference field which has a fixed value set (e.g. boole-boole) and you will get all the domain values as outcomes - which you can enable or disable as you please. You should only disable if you are sure the value will never occur, e.g. if your method code says
IF l_my_result NE 'S'.
l_my_result = 'E'.
ENDIF.
you can disable all outcomes except S or E.
Of course you will need the corresponding statement in your method code to set the result:
swc_set_element container result
l_my_result.

Define External Web services in SPRO. in SRM

We are doing an Upgrade from SRM3.0 to SRM7.0 with MDM.
In SRM 7.0 -SPRO -We have to do the config in Define External Web services
What are the parameters to maintain.
I read from SDN that
Following parameters are not required in SRM 7.0. It was for ITS.
~OkCode ADDI
~target _top
~forcetarget yes
~caller CTLG
You need additional parameter in SRM 7.0.
returntarget _parent - for this what is the input parameters

Hi Masa,
We have deployed the SRM-MDM Catalog Search UI in Portal.
we tried accessing the http://<Portal Host>:<Portal Port>/SRM-MDM/SRM_MDM
Then we got a screen (Search UI App screen), where in we have provided the MDM Server name, then the MDM Server Password, then presses the Connect button, then below this, it displayed the Repository name created in the MDM. We have selected the Repository, then provided the Credentials of a User (Name: T_CORP) in MDM which has "Catalog Manager", and the "UI Configuration Manager" Roles. Please note that these Role names were created by us in MDM. Is it the right procedure or do we have any standard Roles delivered by SAP in MDM to map? If any standard Roles are available, where we need to check these.
Once the Credentials of MDM User is provided, and then selected the "Login" button.
Then we are getting the below error.
"java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Table with Code 'null' does not exist in the repository 'Repository' or is one of the system table (e.g. Workflows) that is not exposed in repository schema"
Please clarify; we are not configuring any values in iViews. Where we need to do this, I mean name of the iView, and what values do we need provide generally? We are just running the Search UI App application; I don't think it is an iView, because the URL shows the Application name details, etc...
Please guide us, how to fix this Error.
