Define Cost Elements Range for Internal Activity Allocation

Dear All,
I have the following scenario, for SAP standard they have defined the Secondary Cost Elemenets 641000 - 641999 as the Internal Activity Allocation. I would like to ask where in SPRO configuration can I change this range with my own custom Secondary Cost Elements 400000 - 499999.

I have not come across any SAP standard number range. They are client specific.
Also your question regarding number range for Secondary cost elements is not clear. For creation of same you dont require any number range I suppose.
Number range in SPRO can be maintained in KANK

Dear all,
I run the PV18 transaction (Internal Activity Allocation for Attendees). Lets imagine that I successfully allocated 1000 EUR in the CO module. Then I realize that it was a mistake, and I want to correct this by sending -1000 EUR to CO.
My question is: how can I do that? Is PV18 capable of doing this? Or this has to be corrected manually in CO module?

while i m trying to run costing in month tojune 2008 near fical year i recive follwoing error meaage how can i fix this error kindlly send me details step becuase i m very new in FICO

Be careful with KP26, when you pass the initial screen, on the second screen where you can see the price, you have to check the monthly price. You can do this from button Period screen (F6). Because in my case everything was OK, but I didn't have price for one of the months.

When I do confirmation, I have an error like this: CK 694 No structure could be determined for internal activity
In KP26, I defined plan price for Exactly Cost center and activity, Price indication is 3.
In costing variance
In OPL1, Actual Cost for Activity I choose 1. Plan Price...
In OKTZ, I define Cost Element in Cost Component Structure
I don't use Activity Group.
I don't know how to fix this error. Does anybody help me ? Please

Dear,
CK11N check the cost component structure for this material
Check whether secondary cost element is assined to that activity.If it is assigned then check cost component structure in IMG where that secondary cost element is assigned or not.

How can we compare the cost element of each internal order?
let me know how can we maintain the budget for each cost element for each internal order. so that along the year, we can compare budget and actual for controlling purpose.

Hi,
I guess you mean comparing plan value by cost element for different IOs.
If you want to compare those (same as actual), you could put internal orders, ranges or groups into the respecitve columns. I also did this once I think for car costs, where the manager wanted to see 10 cars next to each other and compare them (in this case it was actual figures, but same is possible with plan values).
You just need to unselect IO on general data selection and use this as characteristic in the columns then.

These costs are from the usage of an internal activity (activity type SETUP) for cost center WORKCENTER.
System Response
The costs will be treated as fully relevant to stock valuation, and debit the order and credit the cost center with the full amount when a confirmation is entered.
Procedure
If necessary, assign cost element 7500001 to a cost component in cost component structure 01.

You need to check this calling your cost component structure using OKTZ.Your Cost Element must be assigned to one of the components.

I am facing a problem while internal activity allocation of attendees in Training and Event Management. When i try to run "Internal Activity allocation for Attendees" i get an error message as " Reference document 1005 could not be found".
I have done all the configuration but even then i am unable to understand the reason for this error.

No number range for settlement documents defined in controlling area ACA2.
The settlement document is a document type in its own right, which is used for cancelling settlements and repeating month-end closes.
Procedure
Define a number range for settlement documents. Choose Maintain number ranges for settlement documents.

Try to use the following T.code : SNUM,
1. Group -> Maintain and Group -> Insert
2. Give your number range a description.
3. Specify one interval for the number range. If you use up this range, you can add more intervals.
4. Select one or more of the controlling areas listed in the block "Not assigned".
5. Place the cursor on the number range to which you want to assign the selected controlling areas.
6. Use Assign element group to assign the controlling area(s) to the appropriate number range and save your entries.
Note that all intervals for the selected number range object are deleted in the target system first. After the import, only the intervals you export are present. The number statuses are imported with their values at the time of export.
Dependent tables are not transported or converted. Note that the appropriate application table is also transported for number range objects used for group maintenance.
And use :OKG6

When i do the cost estimates (CK11n) for a Finished good, i get the error 'No structure could be determined for internal activity XYZ (Cost Center: ABC)'.
I have maintained prices for the activity & cost center combination in KP26.
Is there any other place i need to check?
Please advise.

You need to check if the activity rates are maintained for the Cost center and Activities combination in KP26.
While running the cost estimates (CK11n) go to the itemization view (F6) and verify that the activity costs for the material are Not zero (This would be now Zero for the cost center and activity combination-when error is displayed).

In setDomainEnv.sh set debugFlag=false or you can just remove it.
NodeManager is a charm after that. it can take any number of ports.

How to get cost center ranges for a given company and division...

Hello Experts,
Is there a table, BAPI or FM that can get the company or division of a given cost center?
Currently I am creating cost center ranges in my program but that is not the best way to do it
since they can always add or delete cost centers. Just like in transaction OKEON wherein you
can see the cost center ranges for a given company or division.

You can try BAPI 'BAPI_COSTCENTER_GETDETAIL1'.
You need to pass controlling area and cost center detail to this BAPI.
It will return the cost center detail in return.

Scenerio: -
I m working in ABC Plant and we define the number ranges for PO i.e starts with 4500000000 series.
But now we have 2nd plant XYZ. So we want to create new runmber range for that (should be start 5500000000).
Plz let me know, how can i define new number ranges for XYZ plant.

with respect to plant PO document type restriction not possible, so in this case copy the NB document type define the new document type

External Alphanumeric Number Range for Internal Orders

Hello,
I am trying to create external number range for Internal Order Type. I want to create internal orders which will have internal order number as alphanumeric and some will be in only numbers.
How should be the range look like, so that I have flexibility to enter Internal Order number as whatever format I want i.e. T123, 12MP, 1234, ABCD etc.

While i confirm the work order by useing IW48 t-code that showing an Error i.e. "NO PRICE COULD BE DETERMINED FOR INTERNAL ACTIVITY 1422 0000004230"
The Mesagge No is CK466
I would like to know how to change the message type from error to warning as I want to keep the price of activity type with no value (zero price).

Thank you for your input.
I have read the program that you have mentioned and in fact fyi the message type can be maintained in table T100C via transaction code OBA5. hte standard defaults as an error as you have mentioned but this can be changed on the tarnsaction that i have mentioned.
