Define preference custom fuzzy expansion rules... is it possible?

Hello all,
I created CONTEXT indexes with some preferences
but still I strongly need in addition to
specify some custom fuzzy expansions. I am
not using a Thesaurus, this is not semantic
expansion but syntactical or lexical combinations.
What I need to specify and I haven't found
the way is to apply these rules:
i.e. if query term include 'Ch' then expand the
result set by substituting 'Ch' with 'K' and
like that several others:
Ch->K
K->Ch
Pf->P
P->Pf
Ts->Z
Z->Ts
etc.
Is there any way to achieve that?

The fuzzy operator will do the expansions according to its implementation. You can't suggest expansions to the operator.

I have an HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911a
When I try to print to a custom print size (2.75" x 6" in my case), I get the same error everyone else is reporting: "Paper detected does not match paper size or type selected. Make sure the paper size or type is correct to continue the job."
I am currently trying to print using Microsoft Word for Mac 2011 version 14.4.5, but I have the same problem with printing from Adobe Reader 9.8.5 or Preview 8.0.
I am running OS X Yosemite 10.10.
My printer's firmware is "up to date" as of 28-Aug-2014.
This is what I did:
1. Open System Preferences from the Apple menu.
2. Click on the Printers & Scanners icon.
3. Click on the + sign under the list of printers to add a printer
4. Click on IP
5. Enter my IP address in the Address field (verified as "valid and complete host name or address")
6. Ignore Protocol field (default is Line Printer Daemon - LPD)
7. Ignore Queue field (default is blank for default queue)
8. Ignore Name field (default is IP address)
9. Ignore Location field (default is blank)
10. Under the Use dropdown menu, I select "Select Software"
11. HP Deskjet 9800 is not an option.
I searched for 9800, but there is no HP printer with that number in the options.
I tried selecting "HP DeskJet 980C - Gutenprint v5.2.3" to see if that would work, but I received the same error message as above. I tried selecting other random HP printers, but so far I've had no luck.
I've been googling about for a way to manually add a printer driver to this "Select Software" list, but I've found nothing (apparently, no one else wants to do this). I did not find a driver download for the HP DeskJet 9800 for OS X Yosemite 10.10 on the Drivers & Software section of the hp.com website.
Additional details on settings for Microsoft Word for Mac 2011 version 14.4.5:
Selected File > Page Setup from menu
Under the Paper Size drop down menu, I selected manage custom size.
- Click + to add a paper size
- Enter "2.75" in width and "6 in" height in the paper size fields.
- Enter "0 in" as the User Defined Non-Printable Area for top, left, right and bottom.
- Double-clicked Untiled in the custom size list and rename the size as Receipt
- Click OK to return to the Page Setup dialog box
Under Settings: Page Attributes:
- Format for "HP Officejet Pro 8600"
- Paper size: Receipt
- Orientation: "tall/portrait"
- Scale: 100%
- Click OK
Select Format > Document and set all page margins to 0.25"

Hi,
Try adding an expression element on your form.
Go to the Expression control properties and in the Expression attribute enter
IF(@Selected==true,"X"," ")
@Selected is the checkbox. For your function call input use the expression element and not the checkbox.

ABAP question: define a custom foreign key for a standard field??

Hi,
I want to use the field ADDR1_DATA-STR_SUPPL3 for customer use. I must to define a foreign key against a Ztable (as verification table) for this standard field. Also I must to define a custom search help.
To defining a foreign key for this field, I must be in change mode, so the system ask to me for registering the object. That means this action is a modification. My question is the following: is there any way to do so without SAP standar modification??
For instance, using BDT events...but how?

Hi Rosa,
Changing SAP Standard dictionary elements is not possible with out changing the same. To change these elements, we dont have any other method apart from SAP standard modification.

so how to map this scenario, so that it should pop up at the time of sales order creation. i.e. it should ask that which varient should be used at all the levels in the BOM.

I've got the same result in Outlook 2013 RTM. The rule action option "Perform a custom action" is missing. Try to install the lasted version of Outlook to check the result.

Hi Danijela,
you could implement the BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI and check if the customer field is filled. If not, you can issue an error message (Type 'E') in the BAdI. This message will be visible in the browser. The user will only be able to order the shopping cart when this error message is gone.

Hi I assume that 30079 is not a message number but You are using some service category with this number but you should use the standard service categories for the same The following service categories are available in the standard system:
o   ALL      Complete service
o   GRND     Basic services
o   SERV     Services, Purchasing
Messages Numbers can not be that much long.

Hi all,
I have a question here: how do I define a customized variable in a query. My requirement is for Calendar Day
1. If the current day is the first day of a month, the selection should be from the first day of the last month to the current day.
2. If the current day is not the first day of a month, the selection should be from the first day of the current month to the current day.
For example:
If it's 9/1, select 8/1 - 9/1
If it's 9/2, select 9/1 - 9/2
If it's 9/12, select 9/1 - 9/12
I found I may make use of the Customer Exit, but I have no idea how to.

Then your can follow this steps->
1) Create a variable with a customer exit as a processing type. The variable is based on the Info Object 0calday.
Set the following attributes:
Type of Variable: Characteristic Value
Variable name: ZVCQUA
Variable Description: day using Customer exit
Processing by: Customer Exit (Drop down combo box)
Characteristic: 0CALday
Press Next
Set the following attributes:
Variable Represents: inetrval value
Variable Entry is: Mandatory
Dont Check out Ready for Input
And Press Next
Press Finish

So I just accidentally deleted my Adblock Plus, (which had my own customize blocking rules) is it possible to restore this ??? (i'm blaming it on my strawberry yogurt.. for distracting me cause it was so good.....*note to self.....do not eat strawberry yogurt while on computer.) ..sigh!
It does seem that i still have a "adblockplus" file that is in my firefox profile files (though i guess that could be the file for the "Element Hiding Helper extension for Adblock Plus" which wasn't deleted.)
. . .i would very much like to restore it, as i mentioned above i had many of my own customized blocking rules, along with rogue antivirus/security/software, phishing, malvertising, malware blocklist, etc..
In the mean time i'm going to copy those "adblockplus" files that are in my firefox profile files (that i mentioned above) ..in a zip file on my desktop in case it goes missing, and go to "Adblock Plus" and add it along with a few of it's blocking rules for now.

Hi Teagan, were you able to recover your rules?
Many times, when you remove an extension, its preferences are left behind, so there's a good chance that reinstalling the extension will enable you to recover them. OR, it may reset them, which would be the opposite of what you want.
Could you provide any advice for future users who have this question?

This is probably happening because you have made a copy of the VI without changing the name/ location on the disc. I have saved a copy of the VI for you, it is in LabVIEW 2010 SP1, please ask if you want this in a previous version.

In BW on hana, there's a 3.x flow DSO where it loaded a request from PSA.
It failed due to activation error SID Generation. But unfortunately, due to PSA Deletion process chain, it's PSA Request got deleted.
Now, we couldn't delete the red request(failed request) from the 3.x flow DSO.
If we try to delete, it shows job has been completed successfully with the following message:

I went to the table RSICCONT and checked the mentioned request. But I couldn't find delete option enabled. Even our basis team doesn't have authorization to delete the mentioned request from the standard table RSICCONT.

Hi Antony,
Once you have deleted the data in PSA there is no way to reconstruct the request hence you can do below things to correct it
1) Identify the No of Records which having error , because if you have more records it will take more time as in debug mode we have option to edit only one record at one.
2) Display only one record in Active table and change it using the Debug option ( not recommended ), but as you are in corner we need to use this
3) change the records with respective values and active the request again

Define custom made aggregation rules

Hi,
If I edit a column formula in Answers, many different aggregation rules (sum, average, count etc) are availabe. However, it doesn't seem possible to define my own aggregation rule, somelike "SUM(revenue)/9". Isn't this possible?

In answers we can give sum(revenue)/9 but it shows the same result for all the rows.If u r having any other column in the criteria ie dimension the give like this
Sum(revenue by dimension)/9
