  • No user defined for service /sap/bc/contentserver

    Dear ALL,
      Transaction : OAAD
    While i am up loading photo Business Obeject : PRELI
                                               Document Type    : HRICOLFOTO
    While i am going to create next  step personal no :(any per no) next enter I am getting this error.
      No user defined for service /sap/bc/contentserver.
    Can you plz look in to this.
    Regards,
    venkat

    Transaction code: SICF
    Here you activate the Content Server Interface.
    First you need to create a user profile – with sufficient authorisations to carry out the processes which are done by the system in the background.
    Double-click on “content server” in the left hand tree structure. You can find it under default_host --> sap --> bc --> content server
    Once you have done this click on the refresh icon and make sure that the service is activated. If it is activated, the writing should be in bold (as opposed to greyed out)
    Check which content repository (Archive) is linked to document type HRICOLFOTO in object type PREL.
    Hope this helps

  • How to define Interfaces in SAP PI

    HI Experts,
    I am kind of very new to SAP PI  topic and hear  we doing an  new SAP implementation project where the existing infrastructure is transformed to SAP.
    So , in this process we have analyze the different existing  interfaces like which one should pass through PI and which doesn't.
    hear my  question is how exactly we define the PI interfaces and differentiate them with regular user interfaces and database interfaces.
    Thanks,
    Kiran

    Hi,
    >>>hear my question is how exactly we define the PI interfaces and differentiate them with regular user interfaces and database interfaces
    you use PI interfaces for connecting one application to another
    but please read the basic info on PI first (available on SDN) before asking basic questions

  • PDF creator display bold output instead of defined mix from SAP Script

    Dear all,
    we've a little trouble with the pdf converter in SAP 4.6C.
    In the systeme there is a custom based soft font implemented (RSTXPDF2). The Forms work with SAPScript and use the global imported soft font , the direct printed output and local created pdf are fine.
    But when i try to use the archive for this documents the output use the right font, some characters are different so that i can see that the creator use the font.
    But the created and stored document in the archiv display all character in bold version, so that this isn't like the original.
    I try to use the testreport RSTXPDFT4 from sap to create a pdf download from spool, which was created witht the printer that create the paper output as well.
    The created pdf has the same problems, so that all is printed in a bold version of the style.
    The form has a headline in bold and after this there are some normal characters parts  and two parts with bold words.
    It's seems that the data in the output send all, but the converter can't interpret the bold end information as in the paper output.
    The target solution is to archive the pdf, but when the short spool isn't fine so i think that the archive printer isn't the problem. The printer was copied from the default, because the archivlink type can't use global softfonts.
    The fonts are activated in the se73 for the archive printer type and e. g. sapwin.
    Hint when i use the archive default which can't use softfonts the courier was used and the different areas will be display in bold and normal as defined.
    Every hint is welcome to find out why the convertor makes all in bold.
    Best regards

  • How to get the defined printers in anothers computer withen my LAN

    happy new year for ALL
    I want to put a JAR file in the server. this JAR file enable users to print images from this server.
    the problem: I want to print the image in user's printer not in the server printer.
    so I want to get the printers defined in the user computer and print th image on his/her printer.
    waiting your reply

    There is a Java Print API. It has nothing to do with networking.
    The images must be moved from the server to the client. You didn't make it clear in what form the images exist. However that is a standard web application idiom. And it should probably be addressed as that rather than as a networking problem (since as a web application there are other parts that will probably help.)

  • Docus about  3rd-party defined integration scenario: SAP Web AS u2013 SAP NW

    Hi all,
    we have an SAP integration solution which we want to get certified. We are interested in the third-party defined integration scenario: u201ESAP Web AS u2013 SAP Netweaver Application Serveru201C as similar products have this certification. Where can we find technical details/documents about this certification. Is there any sample scenario for this certification that we can use as a template.
    Thank you in advance for your help.

  • Using user defined variables in SAP BPC 7.0 NW

    Hi,
    I am using BPC 7.0 SP2 NW version. I want to do some calculatioins and/or comparision in the script logic by using user defined variables.
    For Ex: I want to assign the property TIMEID of TIME dimension to a variable and then use this variable in my IIF statement.
    I have tried a lot but not getting any solution.
    Can anyone guide me in how to use user defined variables in Script Logic.
    Your valuable reply is appreciated.
    Thanks & Regards
    Manoj Damle

    Hi,
    Thanks for the valuable reply.
    But i want to define variables in the Script Logic and not in the Data Manager.
    The scenario is like this:
    I want to check the value of the DUMMYACC1 member of GL_ACCOUNT dimension with a constant and depending on the condition i want to update a user defined variable. This variable will further be used in the *SELECTCASE statement for decision making.
    The Code is as follows:
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET COMP_CODE = COMP_CODE_1
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET BUS_AREA = BUS_AREA_1
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET VERSION = VERSION_1
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET CURRENCY = AUD
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET DATASRC = DATASOURCE_1
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET GL_ACCOUNT = SALESREVENUE,PRICE,QUANTITY,DUMMYACC1
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET TIME=2009.MAY,2009.JUN
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET CUSTOMERCATEGORY = CUSTOMER_CAT_1
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET PROFIT_CTR = PROFIT_CTR_1
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET SEGMENT = SEGMENT1
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET MEASURES = PERIODIC
    *FUNCTION PRO(%VAR1%,%VAR2%)
        [%VAR1%].CURRENTMEMBER.PROPERTIES("%VAR2%")
    *ENDFUNCTION
    *FOR %GL_ACC% = DUMMYACC1
        *FOR %CV_TIM% = 2009.MAY,2009.JUN
            #CUR_MTH = IIF(([GL_ACCOUNT].[%GL_ACC%],[TIME][%CV_TIM%]) = 1.,1,NULL)
        *NEXT
    *NEXT
    *SELECTCASE #CUR_MTH
    *CASE 1
        #CURRENTMTH = PRO(TIME,TIMEID)
    *ENDSELECT
    The errors which system gives is:
    1. Duplicate formula found
    2. Invalid MDX statement
    3. #CUR_MTH & #CURRENTMTH is not a valid member
    Please give your valuable suggestion.
    Thanks and Regards

  • Exception related to user defined module in sap xi ????

    I developed one userdefined module after configuring that i am getting the below exception, can any body tell where exactly the problem
          com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException,
    Thanks,
    Madhusudhan.

    Madhusudana,
    Well...I would in that case suggest you to put debug statements in your code. For this you would need to carry out certain steps which are :
    1. In NWDS , create a new file in the META-INF folder of Enterprise Project. The name of the file should be log-configuration.xml.Paste the following content in this file
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE log-configuration SYSTEM "log-configuration.dtd">
    <log-configuration>
    <log-formatters>
    <!-- This formatter produces human readable messages. -->
    <log-formatter
    name="trc"
    pattern="%26d %150l [%t] %10s: %m"
    type="TraceFormatter"/>
    </log-formatters>
    <log-destinations>
    <!-- Destination for Trace Information of this sample -->
    <log-destination
    count="5"
    effective-severity="DEBUG"
    limit="2000000"
    name="sample.trc"
    pattern="./log/applications/sample/default.trc"
    type="FileLog">
    <formatter-ref
    name="trc"/>
    </log-destination>
    </log-destinations>
    <log-controllers>
    <!-- Trace Location sample -->
    <log-controller
    effective-severity="DEBUG"
    name="sample">
    <associated-destinations>
    <destination-ref
    association-type="LOG"
    name="sample.trc"/>
    </associated-destinations>
    </log-controller>
    <!-- Logging Category: none, use the default XILog -->
    </log-controllers>
    </log-configuration>
    2. In your process method, add following statement
    AuditMessageKey auditMKey =
                   new AuditMessageKey(message.getMessageId(), AuditDirection.INBOUND);
              Audit.addAuditLogEntry(
                   auditMKey,
                   AuditLogStatus.SUCCESS,
                   "CustomModule :: process method started");
    This would send the statement "CustomModule :: process method started" to the Audit Log of XI server and you would be in a position to see upto which step your code is executing sucessfully. Audit log can be viewed at
    http://<host>:<port>/MessagingSystem/monitor/monitor.jsp. you need to know the message ID for your transaction in this case.
    Hope this helps.

  • Printers in sap

    Hi
    How to solve ....
    "Device type ZSWIN does not support page format ZSTK."
    ZSWIN is my custom device type and Zstk is a page format.

    You have to do that Config in Transaction
    SPAD(Spool Administration).
    It is Basis Job. So ask them to do that.

  • Both Side Prints

    Dear Gurus,
    Right no in SAP we take Purchase order printouts. This prints comes on single page only.
    Can anything be done to print matter on both sides. We have printer capable of double side prints

    Hi
    Have you defined printers in SAP and using them.
    If so you can maintain this setting for the printers created in SAP
    In the Output attributes tab of the Output devices you need to maintain the print mode as duplex: Print on both sides.
    If you are using a default printer, then set the settings in the Local default printer and set the print mode to Default: Printer default setting.
    SPAD is the transaction for doing these changes, usually maintained by BASIS person, you can take help of them
    Thanks & Regards
