Activating SIS structure error while maintaining update rules

i am trying to activate self defined SIS structure but at the time of creating maintain update rule in transaction MC24 i am getting error
please guide what i am missing
DDIC structure S990 for info structure S990 not active in Data Dictionary

Diagnosis
It is not possible to maintain the updating procedure since DDIC structure S990, which belongs to info structure S990, is not active.
The info structure has probably been saved but not generated.
Procedure
The info structure must be generated.

Just check whether update rules has any routines or fomula, or constant.
If so collect that in a request and transport it.

HTTP XML Data Source authentication error

Morning All,
I have just started playing around with using XML as a data source for my CR4Ev2.0.1 reports.
I have managed to create the local inline reports and change their data source loacation with no current
issues.
I am now trying to create the HTTPXML reports using code from Ted's BLOG.
I manage to create a new report, and can open it in design, I can see the data source structure but as
soon as I try browse the data or preview my report I get the following error
Cannot Open file
Server returned HTTP response code: 407 for URL:
http://myserver/httpxml.xml
I had a quick look up the 407 error and it seems to be a Proxy authentication error, we do have a proxy
server setup which requires a username and password.
Before I go through what I have tried I want to confess that for this httpxml.xml file all I did was take my
inline.xml file and rename it and make it avaliable via a URL. So this might be the whole problem but I
am sure this is ok.
So I have tried turning off the proxy server as this URL is local so I dont need to go through the proxy.
If I go to the URL in my browser it works fine and I do not need to enter any proxy details.
Thats the problem with my HTTP XML attempt.
If I use the code as is, from Ted's BLOG, for

Is there any documentation as to what entries I can use in the property bag.
Like is there a ("ProxySet", false) or something along those lines?

I have made a little more head way.
I saved the Orders.xml and Orders.xsd files onto my webserver and editied the code to only worry about
the Orders and ignore the Customer files.
I now create my reports, open them in Eclipse to design them, but when I try preview the data it is now
asking me for a username and password. I have tried all combinations that I can think of for our systems
but none work.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I have subsequently determined that my main problem was my "cached" proxy settings within Eclipse.
Even though I removed the proxy settings in Eclipse, it still required me to restart Eclipse after which it
all started working ok.
That was my main problem, but I am still interested in the Property Bag options that I mentioned before.
If proxy settings are needed, how would one go about setting these details?

Its a case of synchrounous communication between SOAP application to PROXY.
The source interface was designed bases on the below reqr:
The sender would send 1 sales order and 1 sales order would contain multiple Material Number.
Sales order and Material Number are mandatory fields. The source structure look like:

1. Need suggestions from experts whether the occurence of the fields in the soruce is correct.
2. when configuration was tested ( Mapping is 1:1),I receive the following error text in the operation mapping level:
IllegalInstanceException: Cannot create target element /ns0:MT_SAP_PROXY_REQUEST. Values missing in queue context. Target XSD requires a value for this element, but the target-field mapping does not create one. Check whether the XML
instance is valid for the source XSD, and whether the target-field mapping fulfils the requirement of the target XSD. I have put the correct payload.
3. Testing message maapings works fine between source and receiver structure. Also I debugged thru Display queue.
Kindly provide me all your valubale inputs.

[Flat File Source [2]] Error: Cannot open the datafile "VendorPurchases20050512.txt".

I'm trying to use foreachloop container in order to read the data that i have in several txt files and upload it into MRR table.
when i'm trying to run the package, i'm getting the following error:
[Flat File Source [2]] Warning: The system cannot find the file specified.
[Flat File Source [2]] Error: Cannot open the datafile "VendorPurchases20050512.txt".
[SSIS.Pipeline] Error: Flat File Source failed the pre-execute phase and returned error code 0xC020200E.
I don't know what's the problem since it was working before.In the flat file connection manager i defined all the path including the name of the file.
I'll be happy for assistance

Does the file stored in local file system or a share folder on remote server? If you can load data from a file in local computer, but cannot load data from a file in a remote computer, the issue may be caused by the Kerberos authentication. In this condition,
check the following points:
Enable SQL Server for Kerberos
Check delegation settings for SQL Server service account and Computer
Add Host SPNs for FileShare Server and SQL Server

Invalid Directory Structure Error

So I recently purchased a Panasonic AG-HMC40 and it's my first experience with a non tape camera. When I tried to get the footage onto my computer Final Cut wouldn't recognize it. It worked in iMovie but I would rather not lose quality by transferring it through that first. When I try to open the folder within the log and transfer screen I get an error message that says that it contains unsupported media or "Invalid Directory Structure." I'm on FCP 6.0.5.

I quite believe it.
Can you exactly describe what you're doing and how FCE behaves?
Do you see a preview of the clips after connecting the camera?
Try to import using iMovie, when this works, it should in FCE somehow, too.
I googled a bit around and found someone having the same problem (but unfortunately in german language).
He has formatted the SD card using the camera, then it worked. But the clips beeing on the SD card before are still lost. But if you backup before, you can convert the .mts files into .mov and then import it into FCE.
Some other possible source of errors:
- is the HF 100 power cable connected for transfer? (it has to be)
- did you see the "mode selection" screen when connecting to your Mac?
- if yes, did you select the "PC mode" there?
- does the USB port you are using work with other devices?
- can you try using an SD Card reader instead of the camera?
- do you see the camera device icon after connecting to your mac?
- can you try it on another Mac if it works? (if not, it may be a manufacturing issue)
At moment no more ideas...

Rebate, see rebate payments in user defined info structure (SIS)

The client need to see the rebate payments for each material in a user define info structure (S500) where the material is a characteristic of the infostructure and the payment is a ratio
I get to show the accrued value per material but no the payment
If the system show me the accrued value for at material level in a infostructure..i supose is possible to show the payment value?
I did create a S520 info structure as copy of S060, but when i try to create a update rule for the payment ratio the system show me the follow message
"Only source fields from MC communications structures allowed"

Payments of rebates in SAP ERP are credit notes (billing documents).
Therefore you should see them in the sales infosystem as billing documents.
If you add the billing document type in the sales infostructure as a characteristic, then you will be able to report on rebate payments because they always have a specific billing document type.

But I get the following message "Include product groups/materials field for planning hierarchy".
May I know whats the reason for this message and how to solve it.

Identification Specification missing in Source structure!!!

I'm doing LSMW (in that recording for MAP1 and MAP2 transactions).
I've created 2 source structures ZMAP1_SOURCE and ZMAP2_SOURCE and also assigned some fields.
I created only one flat file for these 2 source structures and I've assigned to them.
But When I'm reading the data...it is giving the error<b> Identification Specification missing in Source structure ZMAP1_SOURCE</b>...
Can any give me a solution to this error in detail.

Sai when we create two structures and assign it to the same file we need to specify an identifier for SAP which will specify which structure to use. Normally it will be done at the time of creation of the Source fields. when you create that there will be a field Identifying field values there you need to give the value to that.
eg. If you have file with two hierarchial elements
H a b c
I 1 2 3 5 6
where H and I denotes the hierarchy what you need to do is you need to set the identifying field values for the Header structure as H and for the Item structure as I. SAP automatically checks and populates the values..

1..R/3sys, enter RSA7, SELECT UR DS(0FI_GL_4), SELECT DISPLAY ENTRIES,
2.Select Delta Update and Execute.
3.now u can see the records if at all they r available.
4.Now Check The Data in u2018smq1u2019 in R/3 and Execute.
5.Select ur Data source now.
6.Display Entries.
if at all any entries are there it display in the form of queues
if u find any where data , it must be scheduled to ur data target using Info packages.
Now let us see How to Enhance the Data source.
7.R/3, Enter RSA6., select ur Data source, then Click on enhance extract structure.
8. Now it populates a structure name. Like this u201CZADTFIGL_4u201D. Go with continue
9.Give the Description.
10. Under Component Give the Description of the fields u want to add Starting with ZZ
11. Under component type give the concerned Technical names OF RELEVANT FIELDS in r/3. AND u201CENTERu201D
12. SAVE
13.Give The Package go with save, request no go with continue.(or create a new request)
14. Now check and activate.
15. go back from current screen select ds and go with change. Message continue, Request no continue
16.now find ur newly added fields in ds, deselect hide flag and field only flag(check box)
17. So far u have added field to ur DS, now u need to populate Data to UR Newly Added fields by writing user exit.
Enter CMOD in R/3, give the project name , go with Create.
18. Give the Description and Save
log on to bw , rsa1-source systems, find ur ds replicate ds
Now Devolope Required fields in Bw
Add to ur communication structure,
apply the Transfer rules ,
Add to ur Target
Recreate Update rules.
Schedule the data..

User-defined tagged structures in Documents

Hi, here's my situation. I'm trying to build an interface for users to create, edit, and view information that is marked up with two types of tags. The first type is structural and function pretty much identically to XML tags. Not a problem, really, if that's all I wanted. However, the second type of tags are structure-independent (i.e. can start and end anywhere) and thus don't work as part of an XML document.
Here's an example:

the "Start" and "1" tags are the structure tags and the "A" is what I call a floating tag. My plan is to have the user perform various operations on both sets of tags, such as adding of deleting them, moving the start or end, swapping between various stored content, etc.
Anyway, I've been banging my head against the wall trying to integrate this with the StyledDocument interface, hopefully by slightly extended the DefaultStyledDocument class. I oculd run the whole thing with Positions and insertString() and delete()'s, but I feel as if there should be something that I can hook in with that let's me do this.
I've been hoping that the Element interface would be my savior here, but that seems to be getting further and further from happening the more I screw around with it.
Anyway, if you've gotten this far, thanks for your time and interest. Here are my questions:
1) Is there any way to implement the Element interface and then insert my classes into a DefaultStyledDocument?
2) Is there anyway of using the createBranchElement and createLeafElement from AbstractDocument to insert Elements into an already filled Document?
3) When using the ElementSpec methods of inserting Elements, is there any way of getting the created Elements a la the createXXXElement methods from AbstractElement?
4) After I get an Element in a Document, is there any simple way of getting it a reference to it based on position in the Document? Also, is there a programmatic way of removing it from the Document?
5) Am I totally on the wrong track here? Is there some really easy way of pulling this off that I'm just overlooking?

Define several structures for the key flexfield JOB

In our context, we have 2 systems to manage our human ressources (we have 2 different population), those systems are physically separated, so each one has his own definition of keys flexfield.
Now, we want to merge the 2 systems into one of them...so i want to know if it is possible to define several structures for a key flexible and assigned it to the right population, knowing that we work in a mono business group.

ok one part of the answer I found myself. The Order Management Implementation Manual for R12.1 mentions following for profile option OM: Source Code:

of the Sales Order Flexfield to guarantee that each transaction is unique.

So at least I know that I need to have SEGMENT3 for the "Order Source".
