Define start date in SNP interactive table of planned order

hi,
does anyone know how to control the start date and the scheduling of planned order created in the SNP interactive table?

Hi Arieh,
For SNP Pl.Order the standard SAP APO behavior is to control the availability date (End date).
To control Start date you have to convert SNP Pl.Order in PP/DS Pl.Order. Then in the PPT1, production periodic view you can change by start date if you change the strategy to Forwards.

  • SNP Heuristics to generate planned orders

    Hi all,
I have the demand in months for five years & once demand came in i take Heuristics to generate the Planned orders.I have a specific requirement for a specific location  Heuristic that SNP Heuristic should generate planned orders only in month of January to March for all the five years.
I am using SNP PDS .The PDS do not contain resource.
Can you suggest a good solution for the above?.
    thanks

    Hello,
    1) SNP PDS Does not contain resource?
SNP pds contains resourse in line with PPM. Please check the Resource definition. It may not be of "Mixed type" hence SNP pds is genertaed w/o resourse.
Plz modify the resource definition & generate PDS afresh.
    2) Order creation for limited period?
You can control this by using Factory calender assigned to resource or putting doen time for the period for which you want to restrict order generation. Hence Orders will be generated for the period for which resource is workin

  • In plant parameters how the start date in past will be applicable for order

    Hi All,
Can any one explain me in detail start in past for plant parmeters (OPPQ).
    Regards
    sailendra

    Hi,
Start date of order proposals allowed in the past
This indicator defines that the system does not automatically switch to forward scheduling if the order start date lies in the past for determining the basic dates. With this indicator, backward scheduling is always used to determine the basic dates, even if the start date lies in the past.
e.g Bacward scheduling type, Today date is 08.06.2009
If u give basic finish date say 25.06.2009,and system propose you basic start date in 06.06.2009. That is 06.06.2009 is lies in past date.In this case system propose you forward scheduling.Means order basic start date is 08.06.2009 .If you don't want to system propose you for forward scheduling tick mark Start in past in OPPQ.
    Hope this clear you.

    Raja.

  • Error on RESB table changing planning order using BAPI_PRODORD_CHANGE

    Hallo.
In my custom program ZINTERFACE_ORDER, I use BAPI 'BAPI_PRODORD_CHANGE' to change multiple production order (quantity / start date/ end date).
    CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_PRODORD_CHANGE'
         EXPORTING
    number       =  wk_ordine
    orderdata    =  wk_orderdata
    orderdatax  = wk_orderdatax
         IMPORTING
    return         = bapi_return.
First order change works right, but the second order generate the error:
    TYPE: E
    ID      : CO
    NUMBER : 888
MESSAGE:  Internal: Error when reading document table RESB
The error is generated by  COXT_BAPI_ORDER_CHANGE , called internally from the above BAPI_PRODORD_CHANGE
And I have to exit from my custom report and reprocess the second order to work.
It seems that there is a lock on RESB table.
    Could you
    help me?
    Thanks a lot
    Giancarlo

You need to find the lock that is being set.  After your BAPI Commit, you need to test that the lock is cleared.  If not, do a wait for 1 sec and retest.
Unlock (and lock) are queued objects that do not occur until after the commit is complete.  Because they are queued, they can get slow.  Especially when a background process is going to try to work with multiple in a short period of time.

  • Table For Planned Order Details From PP Module

In our organisation we are taking Plan Vs Acheivement from Production. So, intialy we taken Plan details from "PLAF" Table and Acheivement details from "S225" Table. But After running MRP at month end. Previous month plan get deleted and new order create.
how to get history data for Planned order.
    Please help us.
    Regards

I don't think that there is any history in regard to planned orders.  PLAF will get rebuilt according to your MRP parameters and I don't believe that the data is stored.

  • Automatic changing of activity start date and time of planned orders in SAP

    Hello experts,
I have a requirement that in the transaction /SAPAPO/SEQ1 for the list of planned orders what ever we get in the sap we have to swap the activity start date and time for two planned orders which we select automatically. For this I have found the BADI "/SAPAPO/SEQ_VISUAL01".
Now i am able to identify the two selected planned orders inside the BADI method SEQGRID_TOOLBAR_OKCODE_HANDLE.
Now my requirement is i have to swap the start date and time for these two planned orders automatically i.e. through BAPI or any FM.
Any idea of any BAPI or FM to change the details of the planned order.
    Thanks,
    Sanath.

    Hi Sanath,
Please check this BAPI BAPI_MOSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI3.  This Bapi has the provision of chaning Planned Order & Production Order Data. Also, you can explore more info on available bapis in the T-code 'BAPI'.

  • SNP Planned Order start date in past

    Hi
After SNP run, for the past requirements it is giving avaiablilty data as today but the planned order start date is in past. Now this order fails in CIF as the production version in R/3 is valid from today.
In the strategy profile we have backward+reverse with infinite scheduling. In this case the start date should be todays date for past requrirements... am I correct?

    Hello Abhishek,
We are also facing the same issue. Did you find any solution to this issue?

  • Dynamic update of Planning Start Date in Planning Book

    Hello.
Has anyone ever created a program to update the Planning Start Date of a Planning Book dynamically to the next Friday of the month for example?
The help information available for this field mentions a PDATE userexit, but I can not find it. Has anyone ever used it and has some examples to share?
    Many thanks.
    Aline Passos

    Hi there,
I have never done this earlier. However i know that planning start date is stored in table /SAPAPO/PBDVWHDR-TBID_START. I tried changing this entry in the table and it correctly updated the dataview plannig start date.
So you may write a small program to update this field and it shall update the dataview.
Please let me know if this helps you.

  • When ever  enter the date start date up to next year same date between the days divided into 8 parts

when ever  enter the date start date up to next year same date between the days divided into 8 parts
Q1.1 (YYYY) = 1st half of Quarter 1 for year YYYY
Q1.2 (YYYY) = 2nd half of Quarter1 for year YYYY
Q2.1 (YYYY) = 1st half of Quarter 2 for year YYYY
Q2.2 (YYYY) = 2nd half of Quarter 2 for year YYYY
Q3.1 (YYYY) = 1st half of Quarter 3 for year YYYY
Q3.2 (YYYY) = 2nd half of QuarterQ3 for year YYYY
Q4.1 (YYYY) = 1st half of Quarter 4 for year YYYY
Q4.2 (YYYY) = 2nd half of Quarter 4 for year YYYY
    Here YYYY depicts the year.
    e.g. Q1.2 (2014) depicts the 2nd half of Quarter 1 for year 2014.
The description of these values are explained below.
The table below provides the description about each value:
    Quarter     Quarter Range      Start Date
    Q1.1      1 Jan - 15 Feb         1st  Jan
    Q1.2      16 Feb-31 Mar         16th Feb
    Q2.1      1 Apr- 15 May          1st Apr
    Q2.2      16 May-30 June       16th May
    Q3.1      1 Jul-15 Aug             1th Jul

    Q4.1      1 Oct -15 Nov           1st Oct
    Q4.2      16 Nov – 31 Dec      16th Nov
The dropdown values in time window needs to be updated as per date entered by the user in the Audit Plan start date and
should display the next four Quarter (each divided in 2 half  i.e. Eight values ) along with the year  from the selected Audit plan start date.
for eg. If the Plan start date is given as August 10 2013 then the Time window will display the following options:
    Q3.2 (2013)
    Q 4.1 (2013)
    Q 4.2 (2013)
    Q 1.1 (2014)
    Q1.2 (2014)
    Q2.1 (2014)
    Q 2.2 (2014)
    Q 3.1 (2014)
You can refer to the Table above and look that 10 Aug 2013 falls under the Q3.1 so Time window will display the next next 8 half Quarters ( Total 4 Quarter) till Q 3.1 for the year 2014.

    Hello,

        CONNECT BY ROWNUM <= 5
        UNION ALL
        SELECT  ADD_MONTHS(TRUNC(DATE '2013-08-15','Q'), 3*(LEVEL - 1) + 1) + 15 hq_start

               ,ROW_NUMBER() OVER (ORDER BY hq_start) r
        FROM    half_quarters
        WHERE   hq_start > DATE '2013-08-15'
    SELECT  'Q '||TO_CHAR(hq_start,'Q')||'.'||part||' ('||TO_CHAR(hq_start,'YYYY')||')' q
    FROM    ordered_half_quarters
    WHERE   r <= 8
    ORDER BY r;

    Q 3.2 (2013)
    Q 4.1 (2013)
    Q 4.2 (2013)
    Q 1.1 (2014)
    Q 1.2 (2014)
    Q 2.1 (2014)
    Q 2.2 (2014)
    Q 3.1 (2014)
half_quarters generates the start dates of every half of a quarter, starting with the begin of the first quarter that contains the sample date.
The next step is to order the dates and to select only those after the sample date.
The last part formats the output and orders the data.

  • Order Start date

    Hi
I am facing issue with order start date.
I have created a process order and finish date as 30/06/2011. Scheduling is Forward in Time.
When i do partial confirmation of order on 22/06/2011 in production system, Order start date gets changed to 22/06/2011 and order finish date remains same.
Whereas in Quality system, When i do partial confirmation of order on 22/06/2011, Order start date and order finish date remains same as 30/06/2011.
Please confirm how the standard process should work.
Why order start date is getting changed on partial confirmation in production system
    Regards
    Sachin

    Sachin,
    This is normal  standard behaviour
Normally when production order confirmation is posted in advance to order start date, actual order start date does not change until Manula / Automatic Scheduling is switched on.
You can go to the client where it is working correctly and manually reschedule the order in CO02 and check, order dates will get changed.
So somehow in your case Automatic Scheduling is happning and hence order dates are getting changed automatically.
Automatic Scheduling Flag in OPU3 does not directly trigger CO02 change in order dates. Please check if mnaul scheduling is getting triggered in your case or some background job of COHV is running for order scheduling.
    Check and revert,

  • Required start date in a services purchase requisition. How?

When hiring equipment (eg. a tower wagon), it is required to specify in the purchase requisition on what date the equipment needs to be available and on what date the equipment needs to be picked up again. So basically, the required start and end date of a service need to be captured in the purchase requisition (and copied to the PO and subsequently sent to the vendor).
The end date of the service is already recorded in the delivery date field. The start date can be entered in the item text.  But since it is required to report on the start date of services, it is desirable to record the start date in a separate field in the purchase requisition. This way a list could be created with all the equipment that should have been made available by the vendor on a certain date.
Does anybody have any good suggestions on how to make such a 'required start date' field available? N.B. To make things more complex, the requisitions are raised in Plant Maintenance, so ideally the start date would be filled from the PM-order too.

The validity dates in the PO are maintained at header level. The required start and end date for an equipment should be maintained on item level, as there can be multiple items in one PO each with different start and end dates.
Also, the validity end date in the PO has the functionality that "No further service entry sheets can be created after this date." It is very common that a Service entry sheet is raised after the hire period is ended.
So using the validity dates in the PO is not a good option.

  • Heuristics shifts SNP Planned Orders to today.

    Hi,
I am facing a situation where, for a demand in 2011, when i take a manual heuristics(interactively in SDP94), planned orders are created correctly (using Lot-for-lot procedure).
However, during the daily heuristics job, all these planned orders are shifted to "right now"- with start date today and ending 4 days hence as per master data. This is within the SNP Production horizon of 21 days.
Please guide me to what setting could be causing this.
    Regards,
    Shivaditya Singh

    HI
DO you running the Determination of low code level (/n/sapapo/snpllc) before running the SNP Heuristics.
Run this program , Low level define the planning sequence for location product.

  • Planned orders in tables

    Hi Experts
I am working with SNP Tool. I want to know that where I can see my planned orders other then /n/sapapo/rrp3 or is there any table for planned orders storage.
Please let me know if there is any table for planned order storage values.
    Regards
    guru

There is no table for the planned order in APO like R/3 ( table PLAF ).
You can see planned order in /SAPAPO/RRP2 also.
If you want to read planned order data you need to use FM like
BAPI_PBSRVAPS_GETDETAIL        Read Data from a Planning Book
BAPI_MOSRVAPS_REQUESTLIST2     Request: Read Manufacturing Orders for Selection
