Defined customs tariff value(pricing)

Dear all i am posting this for second time
during import process for some materials basic custom duty is on tariff value. i.e if the material price is 1000 dollars BCD will be on 700 dollars only . how to map this in pricing procedure right now what i am thinking of using condition base value 351,362,363 and 364 with condition type JCDB where the value will be picked up from J1ID table material assesable value. can anyone throw some light on this

Try tweeking your tax percentages .Eg lets assume BCD=10% on 1000 USD.In your case since the calculation has to happen on 700 USD the BCD percentage would be 7% and not 10%.
Note that while Reporting BCD percentage will be displayed as 7% and not 10 %

Adding custom field in pricing condition structure (BADI CRM_COND_COM_BADI)

Hi,
I need to add a custom field (ZCITY) to the structure : CRMT_ACS_H_COM and I need to populate this field in the BADI: CRM_COND_COM_BADI in the method : HEADER_COMMUNICATION_STRUCTURE.
However, my concerns are:
1. How to add the new field to this pricing structure? Is there any specific procedure to do that?
2. And once the field is added and populated with the value in BADI, where the pricing calculation takes place based on this custom field? Do we need to to implement any other BADI's or any pricing routines? I am little confused here.
Could you please help me on this?
Bottom line is : A custom field calles ZCITY needs to be added to the pricing structure and freight cost determination should take place based on this new field ZCITY.

Hi Sandeep,
if the field is used in the condition download from ECC please also check SAP note 514952.
1. The field is added via the field catalogue maintenance at IMG: Customer Relationship Management -> Basic Functions -> Pricing -> Define Settings for Pricing -> Maintain Field Catalog. As you save or generate the field catalogue the structure will be updated with your field.
2. Whether you need to implement a JAVA routine for the pricing of this particular condition is defined in the corresponding pricing procedure.

Where does Designer stores user defined custom colors?

Hi,
Everytime I restart Designer, all my custom colors are reset to white. Which is pretty annoying. So I want to export them to a file at least.
I figured, that user defined custom colors in Windows are stored in the Registry in:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Custom Colors]
or alternatively in:
[HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Colors]
But apparently they are not. Changes made to the custom color palette in Designer are not stored in the registry. Those values still remain FFFFFF.
Does anyone know, where Designer stores user defined custom colors? Is there a 'secret' undocumented .ini-file I missed?

Is there any way to query this information using VC++ dll or some other way?Yes, there are operating system APIs for it. That's how Java does it.

Define a new value for CAP

Hi Experts,
In the system we have the values for CAP as follows
1 u2013 Industrial workers / hourly wage
2 u2013 Industrial workers / monthly wage
3 u2013 Salaried employee
4 u2013 Non Pay scale employees
5 u2013 Public servant
And it says "The grouping for the collective agreement is not subject to any restrictions."
What does it mean? Can we define a custom value like
6 - Consultants/Hourly (just an example) . If yes in which table do we need to define that?
If no, why it is restricted in SAP?.
with the above values would it be possible to represent the whole global EE populations?

Hi,
There is no restriction for CAP values. You can go ahead and define your own values for EG/ESG in view V_503_B (you would notice itu2019s an open field). You will also need to make sure to configure pay scale groups and levels for the new CAP.
PCR values, however, are fixed and cannot be changed. The table for that is T546A.

Just some small addition,
The responsibility name change could have problem if you have the resp name hardcoded in your conc program parameters, or harcoded inside your code (host,pl/sql, reports, etc). So you should change it accordingly, or don't hardcode it, instead pass the responsibility name or id from the concurrent program parameter by passing from the profile values. The recommended way is to passed the RESP_ID instead of RESP_NAME.
However if you passed on the RESP_NAME profile value it should be fine unless it is a scheduled concurrent request, you will need to cancel it and re-submit the scheduled request so that the parameter will take the new resp name.

before you delete anything from a customizing table, you should check if this value is used in documents.
if it is, then you should not delete customizing.
Why does your client want to delete this? whats the idea behind? where does this data harm a process?

Who has changed the Custom Field value?

Dears,
Need to know the information regarding how to fetch that who has changed the Custom field value from PWA/MPP.
Example:
There is a PDP (say ProjectInfo):
There is a Custom Field added to that PDP (say Project Status = In Progress).
Now for ProjectA, someone has checked out and changed the Custom Field "Project Status" from "In Progress" to "Closed".
I need to fetch the information regarding who has changed that Custom field.
In which direction should I move: Event Handlers, PSI???? Any other stuff?

I'm not a developer but I do know that you can use an event handler pushing the resource name and date in custom fields.
Another way is to use a 3rd-party tool like
FluentPro Audit Tool.

Team Foundation Server 2013 Refresh button not refreshing Custom Control values in TFS Templates

We have recently migrated from Team Foundation Server 2010 to Team Foundation Server 2013 Update 2. In TFS 2013 template design we found the refresh form control (inbuilt control of TFS) which is unable to refresh the custom control values that is built
by us. Is there any way that we can programatically modify to enable the refresh button work with custom control.

The refresh button is there to allow the data that populated the work item to be refreshed. The data that you want refreshed is part of the rendering of the form and would only be refreshed when the browser refreshes. Refer to MrHinsh's reply in this

Could not complete the define custom shape command because of program error

I am using the pen tool to draw a shape and then select it to create a custom shape. I use path: edit - define custom shape = "could not complete the define custom shape command because of program error"
The error message appears once I click the define button.

Also, I solved this another way, seems to happen to me often. I click on the path panel, near layers panel and clicked on 'load path as a selection' (3rd icon on bottom from left), then click 'make work path from selection' (4th icon on bottom from left). Then you will see that the whole work area is part of the selection, including your desired shape/path. In order to change this, just select 'path selection' tool and highlight each corner and delete each point from each corner, then you are left with the desired selection to create a shape. I am self taught and this seem unorthodox, but it works.

When I click on Define Custom Shape, I get an error message: "could not complete your request because of a program error."

I'm using Photoshop CC 2014. When I click on Define Custom Shape, there is an error box that says "could not complete your request because of a program error." How can I solve this problem or work around it? I've looked on the internet for answers but could find no solutions to this. The custom shape tool is 99% of what I use!

Consider resetting the Pen tool by right clicking here
and if that doesn't solve the problem a logical next step would be to reset your Preferences.
To reset Preferences:
If Photoshop is already open on your screen, close it (Quit). Then hold down Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and start Photoshop.
A dialog box will pop up asking if you want to delete the existing Preferences file (the "Settings"). Click Yes in the dialog box. The existing Preferences file will be scrapped and a new one will be created.
By the way, if "The custom shape tool is 99% of what I use!" have you considered Illustrator?

COPA - New value field defined as "Last Value"

Hi experts:
We have defined a new value field that it is integrated as a 'LAST VALUE' instead of 'SUM'. However, when posting different entries the amount continue to sum instead of showing the last value. The new value field has the same behaviour as a sum value field. In KE30 all entries are summarized and in table CE3XXXX I can see all entries summarized.
Now, I have to entries (100 + 125) for the same characteristics and the value field show the total amount 225 instead of the last value 125.

Hi,
      The 'last value' is typically used for no of employees or some similar value where the last number is really important. In such cases it does not make sense to use this field in KE30 reports and take the sum of these values.
    In such cases only the last entry posted is important from reporting purpose. Also this type of value fields are important in planning.

Those errors are from February 7, so not helpful. (and they were probably due to bugs in Generator that got fixed in 14.2.1).
Hmm, not sure why you aren't getting an error logged.
And I can't seem to get any errors when defining a custom shape.
What sort of shape/path do you have selected?
What sort of document are you using?

PO service item - custom field value not copied to GR

Hi All,
I have a custom field in SC,PO and GR. For a sevice and limit items, the value in custom field in PO is not copied to GR. For goods, it is copied.
When I debugged, I found that the system tries to match PO item internal number with that of backend item internal number. If this is matched, the custom field values are copied.
But here it is not matched. What can be the possible reason. Is there any configuration for item internal numbers?
I found a note 848797 for transfer. But exactly at the corrected code in note, program is failing.
Have anyone faced this issue before?

Yes Disha, the notes are correctly implemented.
I am confused on whether the internal number generated for the item is copied from some configured internal range, because when I enter two service items, the items shows backend internal numbers like 0000000010 and 0000000020 (increment by 10). But in SRM it is 0000000001 and 0000000002.
When the code tries to match the respective numbers, it fails and skips the logic to copy custom fields.
I dont have access to r/3 data.
Please help.
Have anyone tried to create a GR with service item and has custom field?
