Delay Designer Presets Missing

I was going to play around with the Delay Designer Effect and saw that i have no presets. Anyone know where and how I can get them?

You ´re looking for automation parameter "Tap time" - if you open the automation parameter menue of you DD Plug In you will find a subfolder for each tap from A-Z - at the very bottom you find Tap time which can be automated like any other parameter. It's displayed in Milliseconds so just double the number and the delays will switch from 16th to 8th notes.

  • Can I map a drum pad to Tap Pad in Delay Designer?

    Hello Everyone,
I am trying to map a drum pad (M-Audio Trigger Finger) to the Tap Pad in Delay Designer using MainStage. For some reason MainStage will not let me map a Drum Pad screen control to the Tap Pad on the plugin. The screen control inspector won't show the Map Parameter button when a drum pad is selected but it will if a button is selected. The Trigger Finger is set up to send a note when the pad is hit. I would like to be able to tap out a rhythm on the drum pad and have that rhythm be recorded by Delay Designer - like what happens when you click out a rhythm on the tap pad with a mouse. It seems like this should work but I must be missing something. Can anyone help me out with this? Many Thanks in advance.

    Hi Koan22,
In my experience, Drum Pad objects can only be mapped to either MIDI notes, or items in the action menu (located in the parameter mapping browser). This looks as if you would not be able to map a Drum Pad object to this parameter in Delay Designer.
    However, I believe I may have found a work-around.
Simply add a button object to your layout, assign that object to the incoming trigger pad (MIDI Note Message), then map the button to the desired parameter. ( in this case Tap Record for Delay Designer).
** One more thing to note (Delay Designer specific): Don't forget to add a button for the "Last Tap" parameter to stop the tap clock.

  • Recording using Delay Designer

I am new to logic, so please forgive me if this is obvious. I am using Delay Designer to play with tape looping, using one if the simple infinite repeat presets. When I record i only get the exact notes that I am playing, not the delay sounds. I tried bouncing the track to audio but that didn't help, the same exact notes were recorded. On the same track i am using Space Designer and all of that information seems to be captured in the recording. Is there any way to do what I am trying to do? Or is Delay Deisgner only provided for performance in MainStage?

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to this. You English is not at all the problem! I finally was able to make this work. It took me quite a while to realize that the volume knob next to the bus had to be up to get the aux track effects. Thanks alot, this is great to know and it got me going with using a bus.
But I still have the original question. Now I have three instrument tracks and I have recorded a set of staggered bits on each one. When I hit play I hear the delay and reverb effects just like I want. What I am still not getting is how to I record what that sounds like if I let it play for a full minute? Do I have to do some kind of routing to an audio track and record that for a full minute or something? I am not seeing how to do this.

  • Delay Designer manual?

I can't seem to find any information for using the new Delay Designer under Apple Help (Soundtrack Pro 2).
Does anyone know if I'm missing something?

Thanks for the info link Chris.
However, I'm still in search of a real manual from Apple so I can learn how to use it instead of playing and stumbling around with the interface.
Not sure why Apple hasn't posted an updated STP user manual yet...maybe when they're done with all this iPhone junk they can get back to work.

  • Delay Designer problem issue troubleshoot ... It shouldn't be doing this.

I have about 8 delays on varying levels (decreasing on each point on the Delay Designer timeline).
When I Render to Action, there is an exact repeart/echo of what is being said, very loudly, very annoying.
When I delete Render to Action, my effect has been altered and the last point has moved levels, back up to 0 dbs when it was originally at -50.
I've deleted and altered the Effect, re-rendered, and it still does the same thing, even when I delete that point, it just changes the next one.
I'm also using Pitch Shifter II and Exciter Effects in that order before Delay Designer.
On Delay Designer, I have changed the Pan, Trans (pitch), and the rest of the mods on all points.
    Any thoughts?
I have yet to find an answer for this.
10 points to the house for whichever guru finds an answer! Woot!
(My guess, the problem is Snow Leopard.)

  • Premiere CC presets missing and Can't Open Sequence error

I'm having a couple problems with Premiere.
I was working on a project that's been just fine for a while, but now when I try to open it, Premiere gives the error:
"This project contained a sequence that could not be opened. No sequence preview preset file or codec could be associated with this sequence type."
Also, in any project when I'm creating a new sequence, there are no useful presets. I found the sequence presets folder, and they're all in there, but they don't show up from within Premiere.
Also, when I import AVCHD .MTS files, I get video but no audio, even though they play ok in VLC
Solutions I have tried but which do not solve anything:
    1. Sign out, restart Premiere, sign back in
    2. Recreate the Adobe Premiere Pro preferences and plug-in cache. (using shift/option combo)
    3. uninstall premiere, reboot, run cleaner script, reboot, reinstall premiere
    4. uninstall premiere, reboot, run cleaner script, reboot, create new user account, install premiere in that user account instead of original account
I am aware of this page: http://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/kb/features-presets-missing-premiere-pro.html
    and this page: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
Some pages I've come across have suggested running the cleaner script multiple times, but you can really only run it once, because after the first cleaning, when you run it again nothing shows up on the list to be cleaned.  Are there still remnants of Adobe stuff left on my machine uncleaned by the cleaner script that I need to delete manually?
Has anyone else had this problem but not had any of the adobe-suggested solutions work for them and eventually fixed this?
This is Adobe Premiere CC 2014.  I'm running it on a Mac Book Pro that's less than a year old, running OSX 10.9.5 w/ 16GB of memory.
This is INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING.  I've spent most of the day troubleshooting this issue and all I want to do is edit my video. A cursory search of the internet shows that I am far from alone in having this problem. Also, reinstalling is not trivial because the download speeds where I am are slow.
    dave

Well, it took a long time, but I eventually got it working properly.  All of the presets and codecs show up, I can import AVCHD files properly with audio, and the project I couldn't open before now opens fine, so it turned out not to be a corrupt project. It looks like the problem was that the cleaner script didn't actually clean everything it should have, and I had to do it all manually.
I uninstalled all of the Adobe Creative Cloud software, rebooted, ran the CC Cleanup script, and rebooted again.
Then I uninstalled Flash and ALL other Adobe software I had on my machine.
Then I used the Find Any File app to find every reference on my Mac to any file with "adobe" in the name--including system files--and deleted them and emptied the trash.
The only Adobe things I left on my machine were the Adobe RGB color profile and any Adobe fonts I had.
Empty the trash again, reboot again.
Then I used the CC installer to install Premiere and only Premiere (I didn't even install Adobe Media Encoder) because I didn't want to go through all that download time only to have it fail on me again.
And at long last it worked. Then I went back and installed Media Encoder, which didn't seem to break anything, so I went back and installed the other CC software I wanted on my machine, and things are working at last.
The "cleaner" script leaves a LOT of Creative Cloud-related files on your machine, which, in my opinion, means it's not a very effective "cleaner."  It seems to want to leave a lot of preference files and other files whose purpose I don't know (but I deleted them anyway).  There should at least be a checkbox somewhere on the cleaner that says "wipe absolutely everything related to Adobe off of my machine".
Thanks again for your suggestions, Neil.

The above would be the folder for the 32 bit Photoshop on a 64 bit Windows system.
This would be where you'd find the 32 bit files on a 32 bit system, or the 64 bit files on a 64 bit system:
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5\Presets\Levels
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64 Bit)\Presets\Levels

  • PE7: Project Presets missing

I searched for previous threads on this topic and performed the recommended steps to fix it:
    1. Tried reinstall>restart.
    2. Tried uninstall>restart>cleanup>restart>install>restart
    3. Deleted pref file and forced PE7 to create a new one.
None of the above steps helped. The project presets are still missing when I try to create a new project. I am forced to stick with 'DV NTSC Standard 48khz'. Can someone help me with this? Maybe someone can upload their presets in a zipped file and tell me where I should unzip them in my PE7 install structure.

Premiere Elements 7 missing project settings...

Re: Premiere Elements 7 missing project settings...
See the last post on this.
    Hi all,
There is an even easier way to do this - avoiding the installation and all
that... Just follow the steps below:
    1) Download the Premiere Elements 7 trial version from adobe.com (or even
better - I have attached the file to this post)
    2) Run the extractor but cancel the install-process. Now all installation
files are extracted in a folder. In my case I extracted to "\desktop\Adobe
    Premiere Elements 7"
    3) Open the folder '\Adobe Premiere Elements 7\CoreTemplates' with in the
    folder you extracted to.
    4) Extract the file 'settings.zip' to a folder of your choice
    5) Now copy the folder (and subfolders) with the same language code of your
PRE7 installation (In my case I copied the 'en_US' folder) into the Adobe
program folder in a subfolder you name 'Settings'. (In my case running a
danish windows the path is 'C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements
    7.0\Settings'
When finish you shold have a folder called 'C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe
    Premiere Elements 7.0\Settings\en_US' with subfolders..
And voila - settings is back in the startup window...

    Hope this clears things up.

  • Title designer presets for Premier cc

where can I find title designer presets for Premier cc? I could download for C6 but not for CC.

As I recall, I copied the CS6 templates to my CC directory. I am not on that PC, so unless someone else provides the info, I should be able to tell you what directory to put them in when I get home this evening.

  • Help w/STP Delay Designer..... NLEdit are you gone?

So I am trying to acheive a loudspeaker sounding voice
(like when were in elementary and the principal would talk over the loudspeaker)...
I used the high pass and gain filter.... For a bit of echo, I added the Delay Designer...
But I guess it vibrates or resonates too much? (Not sure if that is the correct description)...
I've tweaked it, but there are so many options, not sure how to get rid of....
    Thanks

Are you getting too many reflections? Check to see if you have Feedback turned on (will have a red line on the button), just to the right of the window. If so, try turning it off or turn down the level knob right below the button to see if that helps.
If it's not feedback, how many taps do you have going (in the Level tab window, they will be lettered A through whatever number)? you can select one or several taps at a time, right-click and select delete tap(s).
If you're not talking about echoes or reflections, is some particular frequency resonating? Click the Reso tab to see the resonance of your taps, which will add a resonance to the cutoff frequency of a filter, if you're using one on any/all of the taps.
I'm guessing it's one of the first two.
    Hope that helps!
    Matt
PS - I just played around with delay a little, and I got a pretty good result using the built-in MacOS Delay, which has pretty simple controls. I used a delay time of 0.25 sec, feedback of 7.5%, and wet/dry mix of 19.6%. This is of course on my voice, with no context. But food for thought!

    Hi,
I am having problems loading 3rd party space designer presets in a specific project. When I load the presets in a new song there is no problem. I would like to use the presets in this specific project, so maybe somebody knows a solution.

  • FACTORY PRESETS MISSING

    Hi,
Just installed Soundtrack Pro.Excellent app. but the factory presets for Space Designer and other plug-ins are missing. I can't find any reference to installing presets in the manual or help guide. Does anyone know what I need to do. The plug-in suite was the main reason I installed Soundtrack Pro so I would appreciate any guidance on this. I have downloaded the latest upgrades but still no presets?
    Cheers

Same problem here - When I installed STP there were no presets but they showed up after I did an Pro Applications Update. My computer just bonked on the new OSX 10.4.4 Update and I had to archive and install OSX from my factory disk. Everything is working again but my presets are missing and did not show up when I reinstalled the Pro Applications Update. Any help would be much obliged.
