Delay in Opening Menu in SBO!

Dear All,
I am facing a typical problem in my system, when I am opening any menu as manager login, all the the menus are opening properly.
But when I switch the user then SBO is traking too much time for opening any menu even some time for adding A/R Invoice system taking almost half an hour for adding the form.
I have 25 licence and database size is 6GB.
If the system is working fine for 'manager' user why it is not working properly for other user !

Thanks for refering your issue to SAP B1's Forum.
The reported issue could be related to the following factors:
* Alerts/Log History associated to affected user.
- If plenty of alerts are linked to that user, the system will require a complete review of all active alerts every time the user logins. In order to discard this, we suggest you to deactivate all your alerts and re-evaluate the escenario.
- Log history, if the user received a big amount of messages related or not to active alerts or approvals, for any new document/process being added to the system it will be necessary to go through all the records in the log's history table. This will be translated as a slow performance and delay on most of the operations. Suggestion: Go to settings, and clean all the history log by changing your actual value to 0. Then open any created document and add any information in the remark field (even a period). Previous action will force the system to clean the history table. Once done feel free to re-evaluate the performance and set your log history' settings as required.
* Formatted searchs/ UDFs / Triggers / Store procedures *
Such modifications could be directly related to the marketing documents were the slow performance is observed. This could cause diversion in the core code thus causing delays until processing the added code. Our suggestion: disable all the customizations and evaluate the B1's core performance. If working properly, add once at the time your client's customizations.

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions...

Ok, since update to version 31.0, I have been having some problems.
I have tried doing everything stated in the support page about resetting, reinstalling, safe mode, restarting pc etc.
First problem, when I open Firefox no web page loads. It just says New Tab and a blank white page. If I press the home button I am taken to my homepage which is google.
Second problem, when I right click on a link and the menu pops up, if I click open in new window, a new window opens but it just says New Tab with a blank page and no URL information, just blank.
Third problem, the Open Menu button just doesn't work at all. You can click all you like, that thing is not opening.
I am really stuck as to what to do. I have only been using Firefox for about a month and t was good until these problems. If I can't resolve it, I will have to use another browser as it is really annoying.
I am using Windows 8.1 by the way and have scanned my computer thouroughly for both virus's and malware.

When returning to the Profile Manager, you might be tempted to use the Delete Profile button. How download cs5 Camera raw update and how make Photoshop the default in the Bridge "open" menu?

Two problems which have defeated me.
First, I have a new Canon EOS 500D and need to download the recent (July 2010) CS5 Camera Raw update. However both of my computers freeze when I move from the Adobe Support web page to the Download web page. Is this a known problem? What to do about it? I am using CS 5 on a Windows 2007 XP computer.
Second, (probably related to the first) opening a file in Photoshop is not listed among Bridge's "OPEN AS" options. Also, the "OPEN" Default is "PAINT". How do I set Photoshop as the "OPEN" menu default?

Sounds like something is really wrong with your computer, and it isn't clear what, but if you're just having issues getting to the download link for ACR:

If those links don't work, you can probably find the same updates on the FTP site, although some things here are more than a decade old:

See if Bridge and ACR are any happier after installing these two updates. Make sure you run them as Administrator.
If those still don't work for you, try another browser, where Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Google Chrome should all work.

There are numerous other browsers, as well, but they probably won't work if the above three don't.
Perhaps you either have a virus that you should scan for, or over-zealous internet-protection software that you could try disabling temporarily.
My favorite free virus/malware scanner is from www.MalwareBytes.com
The payfor version will automatically update itself and scan, but the free version works just as well except you have to manually update and scan.

Delay in opening and submitting a form

We have a form which is deployed on two servers. From the test server it behaves normally and can be opened and submitted in reasonable time. But on the production server, it sometimes takes time to open the form and during submission. Delay in opening of the form is not consistent. It opens without much delay on most machines most of the time while slow during some times. While submitting the forms causes a delay and in the status bar We see the message connecting to mofbl02 (mofbl02 is the server name).
The form calls .Net webservices on loading. But there are no calls, only some validation on submission.
We are using Adobe LiveCycle Workflow Server version 7.x and Adobe Reader version 7.0.9.

Hi Im new to Adobe live cycle. we were having some forms which need to be developed and put on the net. some of them are static and some are interactive.i heard live cycle is the best solution these days and we need to use adobe live cycle forms and work flows.
are work flows needed and why?
what should be the environment that is least required to have adobe livecycle set up?

Open menu button not working from FF 31 on windows 8.1 x64

hi,
FF doesn't seem to be compatible with windows 8.(1) x64, from 31 on.
i installed v31, 32, 33 and 34 and none of those had a working "open menu".
i search allover the net, and did not find a solution.
i deleted all that i could 10 times to no avail.
i am using version 30 and the button works
i am very sorry not being able to use the latest FF version, i think its the best project and the only privacy respecting option in the browser world.

Bookmark bar disappears on startup with open menu button doing nothing

I upgraded my firefox to v.35
then on every start-up, bookmark bar shows bo bookmarks.If i uncheck and re-check the bookmark toolbar option on view>Toolbar;
then all the bookmarks appear,but there's no icon.(For example: Facebook's bookmark doesn't the facebook logo)
Also if i click the open menu button(above bookmark bar,on the right), it does nothing. the menu doesn't appear.
Moreover, i can't use my session manager extension. When i click options to restore last session, it does nothing.
I tried uninstalling, re-installing and downgrading to v.33 and v.32
Now i need professional help.What can i do?

How to delete "Open Menu" tool.

Just upgraded to the latest version. An 'Open Menu' tool appeared at the end of the tool bar that I can not get rid of. Also, the bookmark tool is now two icons instead of one. Would like to return to just one icon.

How to reduce delay when opening a pdf file with Adone Reader directly on the PC under Windows 7 pro - it takes arround 20 seconds

I can't remove Yandex Elements from the Open menu list with right mouse button and Tools menu although I removed Yandex. I think it slows down Firefox.

I downloaded Freeyoutube downloader from internet and somehow got yandex installed in my computer with toolbars on firefox.Despite I removed Yandex from my computer Yandex elements still stays in open menu when right mouse button clicked and in the Tools menu. I tried to uninstall Firefox, remove yandex registry from windows registry and restart computer, and then reinstall firefox, Yandex elements still hangs there. Firefox is now running very slow compared to the running before Yandex.

Open menu default sorts

When I go to the Open file menu the sort order is Last
Modified descending. Normally the open menu sort is alphabetical
assenting order. I have no idea what I did to cause it to always
default to this or how to change it back to the original settings.

Reader 8.1.2 hangs on File Open menu

My Acrobat Reader was upgraded to 8.1.2 last week. The program works fine if I open a PDF file by double-clicking on the name in a Windows Explorer window. However, the program hangs when I try to use the File Open menu. I have to use Task Manager to end the task and close the program. I am using Windows XP, SP2 on an HP desktop. I don't think this was a problem on earlier versions of Reader.

After updating to 8.1.2 from 8.1.1 the program will not open. I deleted 8.1.2 and installed reader 7. That would not open. I tried to restore the OS to a date before the update but it did not work. I removed all adobe reader programs including from the register. I then re-installed reader 8.1.2 but it will not open from the short cut or from the explorer. I have 8.1.1 on my laptop and it has no problem. I had no problem before the updating. Help

Adding an open menu to the movie

Just like a blueray disk or a DVD dick. Since movies are starting to have Itune extras with them. If on the apple tv if it would open to the opening menu. So then that you could also start the mpvie from there or chooses to watch the extra things on the tv. That would be an awesome update to apple tv and to itunes in general. We would not have to always watch everything on our computers.

iTunes Extras are not currently supported on ATV 2 or 3.

What is the green bullseye in firefox next to "open menu" button?

Just to the left of the "open menu" button there is a green target that recently showed up. If I hover over it, I get no info. I have had issues with viruses lately, and don't want to just click it to find out.
