Delay in the process of replacement

I was using sony xperia ZR, my phone fell into water and it being a water resistant phone was to work however the phone went into a bad shape and stopped working . the phone was under the warranty period and was submitted in the sony centre shimla(jhony electricals) on 2nd April. I was promised a complete replacement of the phone. however i have not received my cell phone till now. every time i call to ask about the status of my phone i am being given dates after dates. As a consumer i am highly disappointed with the services it has been three weeks I have been calling the service centre all in vain , all I get is another date and even after all this waiting i haven't got my phone back. i have made an investment of 30,000 for a phone as a consumer i fell very disappointed to the response. totally frustrated i had called the call centre up and they told me to wait until 17th and that i will be given my phone however  today when i called up the service centre they answered me saying that there is no update about my phone. i would request you  take this matter into account and provide me with my phone asap!!

  • HD in Pro tower starting to flake, what's the process to replace?

    Howdy. I suspect the drive in my early 2008 Mac Pro is starting to flake. I'd like to replace it before it dies. I can figure out which drive to buy and how to install it, but what's the actual process of transferring EVERYTHING (files, settings, applications, passwords, etc.).
    i assume I install the new drive, install a fresh copy of the system, and do some sort of Time Machine restore? (and then remove the old drive).
    Or is it more complicated/involved? I am currently runnng 10.6 but would like to update to the newest version of OS X.

    Rothgarr, I also have an early 2008 Mac Pro and have updated the hard drives.  It is really easy to do and you have lots of options.
    1. Simple "replacement" solution
    - buy a new hard drive, your machine will take up to 4TB
    - Install it in one of your spare bays - it is a matter of four screws.
    - Format the disc using Disc Utility, making sure under Advanced you use GUID so that it will boot on Intel
    - do as The hatter suggests and use Carbon Copy Cloner to copy your existing disc as a bootable copy to the new drive
    - Once this process is complete, go to the Preferences pane and select the new drive as the startup and reboot.
    You should now be running on the new drive.
    2. The 'upgrade' solution
    I have tried an SSD in my machine and it reduces the boot time from 25 secs to 5 secs under mountain lion
    As the Hatter suggests, I have just put applications on the SSD and run data on a traditional drive. 
    If you get a large replacement disc you could consider partitioning it into two volumes and clone your original and then install the latest OS on the spare volume to see if you like it.  This way you move between systems.  I maintain 10.5, 10.6, 10.7 and now 10.8 on my machine.  This allows me to use some old software that is not compatible with the latest system.

  • What's the process to replace an image inside a mask?

    Hi There,
    The new replace image function is a massive time saver but it doesn't seem to work with masked images.
    These images are masked because they're part of an animation so I really need to replace them - not re-import and re-create the animation from scratch.
    If this isn't possible, how do I remove the mask? That way I could just delete the mask, replace the image, then re-mask.
    Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.

    The image replace works perfectly with a masked image intact,  only if the two images dimensions are the same.
    However, doing the following gets you 95% of the way with just a final tweak of the mask:
    select the image on the slide
    Format > Copy Animation
    then replace image
    Format > Paste Animation
    Format > Image > Edit Mask

    Dear Friends,
    We have an scenario in the Inbound Idoc Posting Process, when we process the Idocs through the standard Inbound Program - RBDAPP01, we face the delay of 3hrs to 12 hrs, approx.
    When we try to re-process the same through the manual process, we could successfully post the Idocs, immediately.
    When the same happens, through the background job - the delay is happening.
    As we see, there is no problem with the program - RBDAPP01, but can't able to trace the delay in the process.
    Any suggestions / advises are welcome.

    The update will happen only if a value already exists with the same unit of measure in the system. If the quantity is left blank in the system and if you are trying to update, the update might not happen. Even if the value is Zero in the system, provide the same unit of measure as the data used in the BAPI.

    In case of import vendors, material is received in stock and payment is made to vendor thru Invoice.
    Now in case of defected parts vendor sends the replacement and the defected part is scrapped.
    Is there a process to receive the replacement part with proper accountability ?

  • Is it possible to introduce a 60s delay in the encoding process?

    I have what seems to be a fairly unique situation to deal with.  I am successfully streaming "LIVE" using FLME to an FMS server.  Currently the buffer on the FMS is set to 30s which means that our viewers have a native 30s delay on the live action.  I actually want to INCREASE this delay, but I need to do it without increasing the FMS buffer size.
    My thinking at this stage is to introduce some sort of pre-processing in the live encoding process so that the data that is sent to FLME is 60s "after" the live action takes place.  This gets streamed to FMS which, together with the 30s buffer size, results in the live action being broadcast a full 1m30s after it has actually been captured.
    My problem is that I have no idea how to do this - anybody else doing something similar, or that can point me at an application I could use that would give me the combo of "live" streaming with a built-in encoder-side delay?

    I can see 3 different scenarios:
    1. You want to do some processing (graphics, overlay, etc) on the captured stream before passing it on to FMLE.
    2. You want to delay the live stream at FMLE end.
    3. You want to replace the audio or video content with some other content (mute the audio for a sec, show a black screen, etc)
    1st case - FMLE wants raw input from a direct show filter (device) and FMLE doesn't have any buffer for the captured data. That means, whatever arrives is encoded without any delay. So, if there is a way to insert some other devices and process the stream before giving it to FMLE, then you can do that. But ensure that data which reaches FMLE is in raw format. If you find any set up capable of doing this, please share it.
    2nd case - As i have explained above, FMLE doesn't have any buffer. So, you cannot configure it to delay the stream. But there is a way to accomplish this task. On the machine which is running FMLE, limit the outgoing bandwidth to 0 kbps. Now start encoding and watch the buffer grow in FMLE stats panel. When buffer reaches 60 sec, remove the bandwidth limit. Doing this will flush out the buffered content to FMS and FMS would pass the data to subscribed clients. So, ultimately the data will be buffered at subscriber's side.
    3rd case - If you want to mute the audio for a short span of time, there are 2 workarounds to do this. First one is to unplug the audio cable from the capture card, right at the moment when you want it and again plug it back. You can time this by watching the previews. Another way is to lower the volume slider bar in FMLE which remains enabled throughout the encoding process. If you want to play any other sound during this short span, then you can connect a different source to the card for the moment. This is easier to do, if your audio device is sound card, because you can simply mute one file and play another. The problem with above 2 methods is that they are cumbersome and it's difficult to be precise in timings. Moreover, if the feed is live, which is probably the case, and you have no idea what's going to come, then the whole process of unpluging/pluging, mute/play becomes very difficult. For video, there is a more elegant way to replace frames. There are many virtual cameras (ManyCam, Webcammax, etc) which acts as a source for FMLE. In these softwares you can have a list of video sources. While encoding is going on in FMLE, just choose a different video source in the virtual camera, that will change the FMLE video feed also. But these virtual cameras are not very reliable, in this forum you can find many posts describing issues with them. As your use case, is to replace only audio and not the video, you cannot do server-side switching. Server-side switching replaces the whole stream. Switching only audio or video is not possible.

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer          
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

    My question: I don't see any option in the start variant of the process chain under restriction to stop the process chain on saturday and delay the run until sunday 6 am. Any idea?

  • Delayed response while calling the process web service

    I have four managed servers in a cluster and the ip addresses are
    managed_server_1 -20.20.40.21
    managed_server_2 -20.20.40.22
    managed_server_3 -140.20.40.23
    managed_server_4 -140.20.40.24
    The admin server is on 20.20.40.21
    I start the managed server from command prompt using the commant
    ./startManagedWeblogic {name of the managed server} {admin console url} ie
    i start managed_server_1 from 20.20.40.21 unix box by going to {weblogic installation}\bin
    and running the following command (we have some issues with the node manager so have been using this
    method)
    ./startManagedWeblogic managed_server_1 http://20.20.40.21:17003
    similarly i start the other servers from their respestive unix boxes
    managed_server_2 from the 20.20.40.22 unix box using the command ./startManagedWeblogic managed_server_2 http://20.20.40.21:17003
    managed_server_3 from the 140.20.40.23 unix box using the command ./startManagedWeblogic managed_server_3 http://20.20.40.21:17003
    managed_server_4 from the 140.20.40.24 unix box using the command ./startManagedWeblogic managed_server_4 http://20.20.40.21:17003
    all these servers are in the cluster named BPM_cluster and the bpmengine is deployed onto this cluster
    when i deploy the application to the bpmengine it gets properly deployed onto the servers
    and i could see the process web services getting generated
    but when i try to call these webservices for each managed server seperately
    the response from managed_server_1 and managed_server_2 takes leass tha 2 secs
    but the response from managed_server_3 and managed_server_4 takes about 25 secs
    I am not able to figure out why us taking so long from the managed servers 3 and 4
    the bpmengine ds and directory ds have the cluster as targets (I also tried to point to all the servers in the cluster even that
    didnot work). I feel that there is db connectivity issue from the servers but i am not sure how to check that.

    Any help that you can provide in helping my iPhone accurately sync with iPhoto and iTunes will be greatly appreciated.
    Symptoms:
    1)   Sync:  It’s not completing the sync.  Below, I’ve provided all of my settings from the iTunes Summary tab so that you might tell me if I’ve selected any incorrect options.  I prefer to sync the “old school” way – by connecting to the computer – as opposed to syncing over the cloud. Perhaps this is what’s causing the problem? Here is a list of the steps displayed in the iTunes window as the sync progresses:
    waiting for sync to start (step 1 of 7)
    backing up (step 2 of 7)
    preparing to sync (step 3 of 7)
    determining apps to sync (step 4 of 7)
    preparing apps to sync (step 5 of 7)
    importing photos (step 6 of 7)
    waiting for changes to be applied (step 7 of 7)

    2)   Photos: I've selected only certain of my iPhoto albums to sync to my iPhone.  All of the albums are correct/complete in iPhoto.  All of the albums are listed on my iPhone, both before and after the sync, but the albums are empty (no actual photos) before and after the sync. Perhaps this is tied to the fact that the sync isn’t completing, but because “importing photos” is one of the steps that the incomplete sync displays, I don’t know.
    3)   Apps: When I launch iTunes and click on the Apps folder under the Library listing, then click on the Updates tab, iTunes searches for any Apps needing to be updated and provides a list.  If I click on Update All, the Apps are successfully updated in iTunes.  But, when I plug in my iPhone so that the updates will transfer to the apps on my iPhone, the updates don’t transfer to the apps on my iPhone and those apps still reflect that they need updating on the iPhone.
    Other Potential Pertinent Info:
    The flash memory hard drive on my MacBook Air recently died (perhaps a month or two ago).  Apple had emailed me about a known issue and literally the next day, my MacBook Air crashed.  I installed a new flash memory drive and re-installed everything from a backup off of an external hard drive.  Everything seems to be working fine; it recreated accurately all of my software and data, including iPhoto and iTunes, the pictures and songs (respectively) for which are stored on that hard drive, as opposed to being on the flash memory in the MacBook Air itself.  However, I don’t recall if the start of the sync problem described herein started happening at the same time that I replaced the flash memory drive.  All I know is that the computer is working perfectly in all respects and that even as the sync is failing, it at least says that it’s doing the right things and looking in the right places (e.g., the list of albums on my iPhone matches the list of albums in iTunes, etc.).

    You need to download iTunes on your computer. iOS 6 requires the latest version of iTunes which is 10.7.
