Delay with PAP2T connected with Intercom

Hi guys,
maybe you have some hints for me.
At the office entrance we've got a doorbell/intercom.
If you ring - the intercom connects to the voip telephone system.
We connected the RJ11 of the intercom to the PAP2T.
So far, the system's running but the problem is that the delay between pressing the bell and getting the call is about 10 to 15 seconds.
I already tested that the call goes at once to the PAP2T but then it takes time til the voip-server gets the signal and connects to the specified phone. So i can definitively blame the PAP2T for the lag ;-)
Do you have any ideas what settings i should take a look on.
I'm thankful for any help.

if possible, can you terminate the sequence sent to PAP2T with "#" ?
I mean, wanna to dial 320, let the sequence 320# been sent to PAP2T and watch results.

Long Unresponsive Delay with Spinning Color Wheel After Compressor Launches

I'm running FCS3 with Compressor 3.5.
After I launch Compressor, there is a 1-2 minute delay before it will respond to my mouse clicks. The Choose a template window will finally appear after the long delay and then Compressor is responsive to user input.
The reason why this is happening is because I have six (6), yes 6, external optical DVD and Blu-ray burner drives connected to my Mac Pro through a combination of FireWire and USB. When I turn them all off, the delay and unresponsiveness in Compressor is significantly shorter (about 6 seconds). Compressor tries to scan for all your optical drives upon program startup, and this can take a long time if you have many optical drives connected. This issue does not exist in Compressor 3.
This is just a tip for anyone else out there who may have several optical drives connected to your Mac. If you only have one or two optical drives, then you may only see a 6 second delay with the spinning color wheel after Compressor starts up, which is bearable.

Again, this is just a tip. If you want to avoid long delays after starting up Compressor, then disconnect or turn off any external optical burning drives you may have connected.

Click Firefox shortcut - 4 secs delay WITH white screen, then firefox loads, also every new tab flashes a white blank page fOR half a sec.

Firefox 31, Windows 8.1, AVG, Spybot, dusabked addins ni change, used several suggestions on internet, nothing works. changed proxy settings to manual 127.0.0.1 and port as suggested - no change, could I have an NSA reroute of firefox?

Before doing anything I started Tor Browser Bundle, then exited. Started up Firefox – no 4 secs delay, very minor delay but no white page at all it seemed. Then clicked on the Open New Tab (x) and saw a white flash then the new tab – again a .5 sec delay or less before the new tab appeared.
Shutdown computer. Restarted and clicked on Fireforx shortcut. No blank white page anymore and no delay except for a very minor one.
But still had the white page flash when loading a new tab from the small x on the current page tab. Saw a white flash, then the new tab loaded. Shut down computer, restarted same problem with the new tab click on the small x - .5 sec or less white flash then tab loads.
Went into Firefox Add-Ons and disabled a number of items. Surprise no white flash on loading new tab. Decided to enable AVG PrivacyFix 5.0.11 – miracle, no white flash at all on clicking the small x on the current tab. loaded veryfast no delay there.
Will alert AVG of this issue. But still very surprised that the original main issue of having a 4 secs delay with a completly whtie screen with nothing on it except white disappeared after launching Tor Web Browser throws me for a loop.
Have not tried BlueHell yet and wonder why I should now in addition to the fact that AVG is certainly far superior to it. But if Bluehell does a better job than AdBlocker, willing to try it.

It's required for the nature of the algorithm. You can use PlugIn Delay Compensation. Also, ChannelEQ's settings are interchangeable with LPEQ's - use Channel while tracking if you must.

E-mails delaying with CAT3750 Stack connection.

Hi all,
I have 4 Microsoft Exchange servers connected to CAT3750 stack. I noticed a delay in getting e-mail by having a look at the queues on the servers. But when I connected all the servers to a small hub, I don't see any queues and there is no delay in getting e-mails. The hub is connected to a port on the same CAT3750 stack.
All the four servers are in the same VLAN.
The switch is running the following IOS Version:
c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-25.SEE.
Can someone please advise me what to do to resolve this issue.

IPhone OS 3.1.3 - iTunes delay with recognising that iPhone is connected

I recently updated my iPhone OS to 3.1.3 and everything appears to be working fine for me - I first upgraded iTunes to the latest version and then upgraded the iPhone OS.
The only issue that I'm facing is that each time I connect my iPhone to the USB of my laptop, iTunes doesn't automatically open as it used to. If I happen to have iTunes open already and then connect the iPhone, it takes iTunes a very long time to recognise that the iPhone is connected. On my iPhone screen it shows that I'm charging it (so I know it's connected), but the iPhone itself takes a very long time (say around 10-15min) to appear in the iTunes window.
Any suggestions please? Thanks.

Here is a fix for the iPhone 3.1 update that causes the handset to remains caught in a restore loop **.
With this fix you should not need to reinstall iTunes to a previous version either, though I have only tested it with Windows OS, the same principle should work.
When your phone is caught in the restore loop, which causes iTunes to continually ask you to reinstall your iPhone and then upon resorting it brings up an error, do the following.
Login to another user account that has access to iTunes (any version) and plug your USB connector into the iPhone.
iTunes will then indentify that there is a 3.1 update which you agree to download. You will then be asked to reformat the phone and install the update. Go through the process as it tried to do in the other user account, follow any prompts that iTunes asks and eventually you will return your iPhone to its factory settings.
Next, disconnect your USB and then log back into the main user account you have previously been using your phone with, load up iTunes again and then reconnect the phone.
iTunes will now scan for the phone and automatically (if you have a previous backup) reinstall from a previous backup, if no backup is available then simply restore.
Once this is complete you should be left with a fully updated and more importantly working iPhone.
I have had some issues with this process with direct regard to the backup, but after a few tries this process works fine.

Video/Sound delay with AppleTV on higher resolutions

I have a new Sony 55" RP SXRD HD TV (1080p max res), and just hooked up my AppleTV today. After syncing it with most of my video library and some of my music library, I tested the video appearance. My initial setting was 1080i, and I experienced major video/sound synchronization delays (similar to older DVD players where you'd hear what the person was saying 5-8 seconds before they said it on screen). This drove me nuts, so I switched down to 720p res, and while the movies played okay, the TV Shows and the Music Videos left much to be desired, and still had the same synchronization problems. To remove these issues, I finally changed the res down to 420p, but now, when I watch pretty much anything (photos, album art, TV Shows, Music Videos, and Movies), the resolution is horrible, and pixelates on my TV.
I'm trying to pinpoint this to find out if it's the TV, the connection (HDMI), or the AppleTV. Can anyone offer some advice on what to look for, what might cause this issue, and how I could fix it? Thanks so much in advance!

Sounds to me like it's a problem with upscaler. Does the Apple TV upscale? If it does, then it's the upscaler in the Apple TV and is probably a software problem that can be fixed with a firmware update. But it's weird that if it's a consistent problem with the Apple TV upscaler that these forums aren't just soaked in complaints about it. Could be only a problem with really large, say 46" or greater TVs -- that might explain the low number of complaints.
If the Apple TV doesn't upscale, then it's the upscaler in your HDTV. Prior to about six months ago, when all HDTVs got good upscaler chipsets, some HDTVs, especially the older, larger models, had absolute trash upscaler chipsets -- even the expensive quality brand models got some bad upscalers. All kinds of problems from all input sources, but not always with every device. How old is your HDTV?
For your sake, I hope it's an Apple TV upscaler problem with larger dimensioned HDTVs, as that Apple can fix for free with a firmware update. Next best choice is your terrible upscaler chipset in your HDTV supports firmware upgrades via USB or network cable and there is a firmware update out that fixes your HDTV's upscaler problems. Because the final, worst alternative, if there is no update for your HDTV available, or your model doesn't support firmware updates, it's the really bad option: drop another couple grand or more for a new HDTV of the same large dimensions.

Random delays with tpacall

Dear friends,
we do have an issue that sometimes result in a random delay. We haven't thoroughly invesitigaded this, so there might be some bad conclusions made in the scenario described below
We're using Tuxedo 11.1.1.2.0 and DB2 9.7
When we're doin' two sequential tpacall's (with TPSIGRSTRT only) to 2 services (A and B) (implemented in the same server) doin' some SQL-operations to a DB2-database. It usually works well, but once in a while it seems like the there's a delay for about 1 second before the service(s) is/are processed. When we digged a little deeper into this, the delay seemed to occur when the call to service B ended up in the server before the call to service A
In this case, the services just read some data so, as a quick and dirty workaround, we called the services with TPSIGRSTRT | TPNOTRAN and the "random" delay disappeared. This "workaround" is not desirable (in a SOA-architecture) and may not even be applicable all the time
As I wrote above, we haven't really digged in to this problem, so DB2 might be the one to blame as well, the answer may lay in how the two products work togehter (perhaps releaded to xa_reg vs ax_reg ?)
Have anyone experienced something like this ? Does anyone have an explanation ? Can it be a defect (in implementation or design) in one of the products ?

When you say 2 services implemented in the same server, you mean the same server executable, or the same server instance, i.e., how many copies of the server are running? If there are multiple copies of the server running, are they in the same group? Also, are the servers in a transactional group, i.e., one with an OPENINFO string and build against an DB2 as an RM? The reason I ask this second question is that when in a transactional group, Tuxedo maintains and manages the connection to the RM. In non-transactional groups, it is up to the application to manage the connections.
You say the services just read some data, so there should be no dependencies in the database between the two such as readying cursors or the like?
If all you changed was to add TPNOTRAN, then I suspect it may be a DB2 issue. One way to check is to enable XA tracing and see if DB2 is calling back with an ax_reg() call in the execution of either service. If DB2 is calling Tuxedo with ax_reg(), then DB2 thinks you are modifying the state of the database and is trying to join a global transaction. This still doesn't explain the delay, although the timestamps on the traces may help. TSAM Plus would also be able to potentially help identify the cause of this problem, or at least the culprit responsible for the delay.
One other possibility is that if you are doing this a lot, say thousands of times a second, then you may be hitting the global transaction table lock hard enough to cause some serious contention issues. But again, I'm not sure why a 1 second delay.
Do you know if the delay only occurs when service B gets processed before service A?

Annoying audio delay with AirPlay

I'm very displeased to report that there's a tiny (and yet extremely annoying) delay in the audio played from a Sony Home Theather HT-CT150 connected via HDMI to an Apple TV with AirPlay compared to the sound from my iMac. I've tried changing all the settings possible on the HT-CT150 to no avail and so, ridiculously, I had to connect the HT-CT150 to my AirPort Express from which standard RCA cables come out for a perfectly in-sync sound experience. Conclusion, it is the HT-CT150 processing time that creates the delay and there isn't anything I can do about it and so my only option is to find a way to make my iMac to delay its sound somehow so I can adjust it to what I need.
Obviously I don't want to have both the Apple TV and the AirPort Express connected to the HT-CT150 when one device should be able to handle the task. Is there any app (in our outside the Mac App store) that can help me accomplish that?

I have the same problem. The first second or so is missing. It happens because my receiver has to "tune" in to the PCM signal. In the mean while my ATV is allready transmitting/playing the song and my receiver is still triyng to figure out what kind off signal is coming in, causing it to skip the first second of each song. Possible solutions are to let ATV wait with playing the song, wich involves some sort off handshaking between my receiver, my ATV end itunes. An other solution could be to put one second of "silence" in front of every song, so my receiver has time to sync to the PCM signal. Both of wich i don't know how to implement. I find it strange that my receiver has to sync to the PCM signal at the start of every song. Why does ATV not keep the PCM signal intact instead of dropping it between songs? My receiver is a Philips model. The problem does not occer when playing music via the iPad. Very annoing problem.

Time delay with video cht

when I video chat with other apple users there is a time delay of 3 minutes. I can hear them speak, but it's not coordinated with their mouths. They say they get a 2 second delay. I use comcast & wonder if the problem lies there. They all have Mac OS 10.5.4 also. I also use time Capsule & wonder if that could be part of the problem.

i have a very similar problem with my ichat. it just started this year. The other user sees me fine, but i see them with a delay that seems to get bigger and bigger as the chat gets longer. I have tried wirelessly connecting to my airport extreme as well as hard wiring and it didnt change anything. i set the bandwith limit to 500 and the streaming speed to 1.5 mbps. i have comcast cable internet with a download speed of about 800 kb/s-1 mb/s, so i dont kno what to tell you. Maybe you have an obsolete computer. I have a suspicion that mine are messed up because i am on a power pc g5 and my friends or all on intels but who knows.

Refresh Delay with Radial Charts

We have deployed a dashboard in XCelsius 2008 SP2 which is composited
of two screens. Both screens are published in a B.O. 3.1 environment.
One screen has the general information about our sales and the other
screen has more detailed data. We have connections to QaaWS
WebServices, and the test of them is succesful. Also We're using flash
variables to pass the parameters, and the behaviour it's right.
In fact, all the deployment seems to be right, but sometimes We're
experimenting any problems with the refresh action of radial charts.
These charts are loaded from different Webservices. But after the
reload of all the data, with a previous change of our parameters, the
visual refresh of our radial charts has a delay. This behaviour is
variable, so we aren't able to find a forecast about his performance.
We've tested the execution of our webservices, and also We have tested
the delay between the final execution time and the visual refresh
effect. Sometimes this delay has more than 30 seconds.
Have you experimented this problem before? Any tip?

Typically the datagrid in a scenario like yours would be
updated by a webservice call from the client i.e. from Flex to the
server. The datagrid might be bound to the lastResult of a
webservice for example, or to a data model, but that will not be
updated without calling the webservice itself. Oftentimes you will
see this call in a "creationComplete" event. If you want to
dynamically update the client when the server changes then you are
going to have to take some kind of action on the client, like a
timer for example that triggers the webservice that accesses the
data.

Print delay with time capsule - multiple printers

I have the print delay problem with my Samsung ML-1510 but have 2 printers connected by USB through the TC. The second printer prints well (Canon i865). Any idea how the requests could be directed to the correct printer using the set up by IP setting so I can set up the ML-1510 to print in a timely fashion? When trying the print via IP setting I can't get any output at all from the Samsung! I have not tried to set up the Canon to print via IP as it prints well via bonjour.

5 Month delay with my line istallation!!!!

I placed and order with BT in April 2013, and I am still waiting for my line to be installed, I have been told many many many lies and inccorect information as to what is causing the delay.
The latest is that Openreach are waiting for permission for a four way traffic light system to do line plant and cabling work, so I asked where will these traffic lights be, the answer that I was told was my next door neighbours actual house and the single lane dead end road on which I live (we are the last house on the dead end)!!!! So I though ok lets see what happens, was told there was a site meeting with the council last friday 20th September and the traffic lights were booked for yesterday, today and tomorrow, GUESS WHAT, no traffic lights!!! So I contacted the local highways department who says there was no such site meeting with them and no requests have been made from BT/Openreach in my area for any traffic lights!!!
Openreach are complete and utter liers and I as so fed up of the whole situation, my case has been passed to an excalation team at BT, who are basically doing nothing other than feeding me the false information openreach gives them.
I am waiting now for my update on monday the 30th September, and I cant wait to hear what BT say!!! If they says the traffic lights were a success I am literally going to laugh in thier faces!!!
What an awful company who have treated me with no respect whatsover.

Delay with installation of business line

I have to say I am absolutely shocked by the poor service I have experienced from BT and its sad that such a huge corporation has so many unsatisfied customers.
I have been trying to have my business line installed since September. Its been connected at the exchange but no connection within the building. Thats all they need to do then put a socket on the second floor. My landlord has done the cabling for them as they refused. I have had 3 enginners all of which have done nothing and majority walked off the job. I am at the end of my tether and will be complaining to OFCOM and consider legal action.
