Delayed iMessages to iPhone despite coming through on Ipad
Very often I will get an iMessage that comes through on my iPad (iPad 2), but it can take sometimes up to 15 minutes for it to come through on my iPhone (4s). I can even go back and forth a few times via my iPad with the person who sent the original message and there will still be no activitiy on my iPhone. Eventually the iPhone catches up and most of the back and forth messages are displayed, but occasionally one gets left out completely. Why does this happen??

Recently, my iMessages have not been coming through to my iPad. My sent messages will show up, but the received ones will not. I have check all of my Message settings, and they have not changed from what they were before. I've checked my Wifi connection and all other possibilities I can see, but I feel I am just missing something simple. Any ideas?
If you mean that you are not getting notified when a text comes in, go to Settings> Notification Center> Messages.

I am hoping someone can help me with clarifying why iMessage from my wife (iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.3, currently in South Africa) is not working to me (iPad2, iOs 6.1.3) at the moment. She is unable to send to me, but experiences no problems in sending to our kids in Canada (who are all on iPhones). When she is in Canada, iMessage works just fine. Is it because iMessage is transmitting to my kids' iphones via cellular, but she is unable to txt me (my iMessage is linked to an email address) because she is not on a data connection/WiFi? My kids can send messages to my iPad via iMessage, and they receive messages sent from my iPad ... so, all ok with respect to Apple devices in Canada!
It now has become apparent that messages sent by my wife from South Africa to my kids' iPhones are received randomly (i.e. not consistently), and still not delivering at all to my iPad. What is interesting is that my wife is able to txt my eldest's Blackberry perfectly. Does this mean that it is an iMessage/iDevice to iDevice issue?
My wife has not yet been able to get to a WiFi location, so all texts have been sent via cellular (data roaming is turned off on her iPhone). We are hoping that soon she will be able to get to a location where she can hop onto a wireless network to test this further; but, I have to say, I find this highly frustrating as txt (pre-iMessage) seemed so reliable. I will keep you posted ...

Captivate narration not coming through on iPad
Hello,
I created a Captivate project in Captivate 7.0. My project includes a music introduction (MP3 file) on the first slide and narration on the subsequent slides. On my desktop, the project and sound (music and narration) runs properly. However, on my iPad, neither my music introduction on the first slide nor my narration on subsequent slides comes in. I confirmed I do not have "mute" on and that my volume is up.
Do you have any ideas?

My husband and i have our iphones set up. He is getting all my text messages that are coming through to my phone, how can i elminate this problem? Does it have anything to do with out icloud?
Well, you use the different accounts such Phone Numbers, email addresses. And make sure that your iPhones have no receipient address in common, then you can avoid this issue.
I use iMessage on my iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro, iPod touch.
Each of them has a individual address to receive messages, so they won't combine all the messages among all the devices.
Try this, if it doesn't work, tell me, I'll figure another way out. -
My iPhone 4S has stopped ringing altogether. Voicemail is disabled but if you call me, you'll hear it ringing at your end but it does nothing my end and freezes in the phone app if I make a call (doesn't ring or connect and doesn't freeze the phone, just the calling part). Texts are not being delivered or coming through delayed. Ringer is on, tone enabled - help!
I've disabled roaming so it only runs on wifi (this after getting a £4k phone bill...) and I can use Skype, Viber and WhatsApp with no problem at all.
Would really appreciate any help at all!

They said if they had cut me off I would've received a text (debatable with current message receiving situation!) and when I called out it would say 'calls from this number are barred'. Also if you called me it would say something similar. But it doesn't, it will ring and ring until it rings off but nothing happens at all on my handset. Not even a missed call notification. If I call out, it will display that it is calling the number but that's it. If I cancel the call it will constantly display 'ending call'. If I come out of the phone and go to another app then revist phone it will start calling that last dialled number - without ever getting as far as ringing or connecting.

After downloading IOS 8.0.2 on my iPhone 5, my email messages are not coming through automatically. Before, my email messages would come through automatically and my iPhone would alert me each time an emial message was recevied. I now have to open my mail in-box and wait for my email messages to download. Do I need to reset or change my mail settings? This issue is delaying my abiliy to receive and respond to email messages in a timely manner.

JesseHi Chris. Thanks, for the suggestions re: my email issues. They were helpful and yes I did check all items you referenced. I even contacted Apple support and spent about 40 minutes on phone checking all settings. However, after all these efforts, my mail and calendar issues were not resolved. Apple Support finally recommended deleting the mail account and then reloading it - and it worked! I am now receiving my emails and calendar appts. in real time again.
Just wanted to share this in case anyone elest has a similar problem with mail/calendar after downloaing i.O.S. 8.1 onto iPhone 5.

Please help, my iphone screen was repaired with a faulty screen and my screen has went sheet white with all coloured lines so i cannot see anything on the screen at all. My phone is still on and i can still hear all my messages coming through, is there any way i can read those messages before dumping the phone?

My Mac has stopped receiving mail. I have a mac.com address. Mail is still coming through to my iphone and my wife's ipad but nothing is coming through to my imac.I have mail from half an hour ago on the phone but nothing newer than 18 Feb on the mac. Everythng was working fine until recently and I have not touched any settings! Can anyone help?
So I tried something else recently and it seems to have fixed the issue. My mail is now getting new mail again and refreshing after waking from sleep without having to restart mail. Give it a try and hopefully it will help you too.
First, make sure your Mailbox List is visible (Shift + Control + M). Then select all of your inboxes, mailboxes, and folders (not just the root folder for nested folders, make sure to select them all). Then under the "Mailbox" menu, select "Rebuild."
It may take a while to rebuild them all if you have a lot, but like I said it seems to have done the trick for me. I hope that proves to be more of a long-term solution. -

My iPhone 4s screen have gone black but I can still hear messages coming through. Also I have broke the button at the top of my iPhone so I can't turn it off and back on again? What should I do?
Try plugging it it to see if the screen comes on. If not then you're screen is damaged.

IPhone 5 YouTube sound is coming through Ear-Speaker (Not from main speaker).
I’m using Safari and Chrome to watch YouTube videos, but this morning I realize that sound is very low, later I realized that sound is coming through ear-speaker and main speaker is not working for YouTube media. Any advice?!?
Everything else is working perfect, music, ringtone, alarm all sounds coming through main speaker but all safari and chrome media is using Ear-Speaker.
