Delayed response from Bridge

Bridge has rendered itself almost useless on my 64 bit Win 7 PC after the version 4.0.5.11 upgrade. Most tasks, selections and menu options result in about a 15 second delay before any response is noted. Very frustrating. Any ideas?

Ahhh, that's it! I shut down my Home Server a few days ago due to some bad weather and hadn't restarted it yet. Thanks much!

That certainly is not right. I get a slight delay at times but I'm talking about a second or two.
Did you reboot? Quit Safari? Quit all apps and restart? Clear Safari?
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Quit all apps and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Clear Safari. Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Cache or Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

Delayed response on right click of mouse in windows 8.1 updated from win 8

dear all,
i am facing issue with the right click of mouse in windows 8.1 which i have recently updated from my preloaded windows 8
which came with the pavilion g6-2231tx model of hp.
on right clicking the mouse i am getting delayed response and sometimes no response at all ,system hangs and freezes..
please do help asap...

Have you done all your Windows updates?

Delayed response of when moving objects in diagram and panel, happend in LV 6, only for vi's compiled from previous versions. any suggestions?

When I using the mouse to select portion of the diagram or the panel, or when I moving objects- I found that in all the vi's that I compiled from former versions of labview- there is a delay of close to a second to the actual selection or movement of the item. This happens in 2 machines out of 5 that I tested it, and it happened both in windows 2000 and in windows 98. any suggestions?

Sometimes a video driver issue. Update your video driver.
Or turn down the video driver hardware acceleration. Right-click an
empty area of the desktop, choose the Settings tab, choose the Advanced
button.
The location of this differs in different versions of Windows.
Win2000: go to Troubleshooting, and turn down the slider for hardware
acceleration.
Win98: I think it's on another tab.

Missing RAW and CS5 option from Bridge

When trying to take a photo from bridge to either RAW or CS5 for processing, those options are no longer available. I get a msg that they are not in the system.
I have re-installed CS5 but no returning email has arrived from Adobe confirming instillation activty has been completed.

From Bridge I had been able to select RAW or CS5 for processing photos. They no longer show. The msg I get is:
Windows cannot find C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5\Photoshop exe. Make sure you typed the name correctly, than try again, click the stat button than click search.

Photoshop Error When Sending for Edit from Bridge or Lighroom

When I attempt to send an image from Bridge CS5 or Lightroom using the Edit In or Open With commands Photoshop begins to launch but then displays the error message "Adobe Photoshop CS5 has encountered a problem and needs to close." If Photoshop is open and I attempt to open Bridge I get the same error message for Bridge.

Can a PDF of an Indesign doc be created from Bridge CS3

Can a PDF of an Indesign doc be created from Bridge CS3 without opening the Indesign file; and retain version cue version info as you would "page information", using an "Adobe PDF Preset" ?

How to create Asynchronous request and delayed response Provider ABCS

I am using Jdveloper 11.1.1.5 and AIA FP 3.0
Whenver I am creating Asynchronous Provider ABCS through Service constructor, it asks for the wsdl in Callback tab. Would someone please help me in :
*1.* What wsdl we should provide in Callback tab
*2.* If I provide the EBS wsdl operation response. Then there is no call back in the BPEL process of the ABCS. Instead of that there is an invoke activity which is invoking the response operation of the EBS.
*3.* Does anyone tried to develop a complete Asynchronous (Req/Delayed response) AIA interface. if so please share with us.

AIA Async delayed response pattern :RequestorABCS remains in suspended mode

I am trying to implement the Async delayed response pattern for one of my integration flows. After there is a fault on providerABCS it creates the responseEBM along with fault message in it and invokes the ResponseEBS. The ResponseEBS shows as completed and has invoked the desired operation on RequestorABCS. However the RequestorABCS shows as Pending status on the receive activity.
I have created correlation ids and sets on both Invoke and Receive in requestorABCS as below:

Uploading from Bridge CS4 to smugmug

Recently upgraded from CS3 to CS4 and cannont locate the option to upload from Bridge directly to my smugmug site as I could in CS3. What am I missing.

Sometimes features dropped from one version are put in an extra, or addendum file on the install disk. Might check the disk or if downloaded go to that site and see if there is something.

Empty box received, no response from seller, claim opened, paypal says to send item back

Item is a 30" lawnmower blade and by the looks of the box it slipped out of the bottom during shipment. I called seller initially and he said they would send another and file a claim with the carrier. I waited about 2 weeks and still no item so I left voicemails over the course of a couple days, also emailed the seller with no response. I opened claim with paypal and they said they ruled in my favor, but need tracking info showing that I sent the item back to the seller. Do I really need to pay more $ and spend more time shipping an empty box? This does not make sense and it has been a month (6/19) since I paid for the item. I have tried calling paypal and there is a series of 5-6 advertisements, then it says to call a different number which goes to a completely different company for phone/internet service. I emailed paypal about this and got a generic response with links to some FAQs. What would you do?

That's all terrible. Just for clarification, this is a peer to peer forum. I am guessing that you posted this here to have others be aware of this. You most likely won't get a response from a VZW rep here and if you do it may not be fruitful.
I can also tell you that a store rep doesn't have the ability to change the shipping address unless it is done at the time of the order. It is correct that to change the shipping address the tracking number has to be generated and then VZW has to fill out a form with FedEx and that could delay the package by up to 48 hours. I don't know how you received 2 packages BUT when VZW sends a device they make a note of the ESN on your account with the package's tracking number. If, in deed, their records indicate that 2 devices were sent they can easily rectify this situation. How? It is simple.
1.) Take note of the ESN on your current device. Take the battery out and it is on the sticker. It will most likely begin with 99.
2.) Call them. I know that you don't want to do this but insist that they look through the notes and confirm the ESNs that were sent to determine which one is on your account and which one is the missing one.
3.) Have them input the ESN in to the system and see if it is activated on another account. If it is, they won't tell you who has it but they should easily see that it isn't you.
This can also be done in a corporate VZW store. Not that you'd want to but if the store that Brian works at is one, I would go back there.
Hope this information helps you start to get to the bottom of this. It shouldn't be on us to do any legwork but we have to be proactive when it comes to our money.

Photoshop CC issue with processing collection from Bridge

Hi,
I'm encounter the error below when processing a photo collection from Bridge us Photoshop CC 2014.2.2.
I have not altered the photos in any way (straight download from camera).
I'd be most appreciative of any guidance with a solution for this.

OS 10.4.8 Mac Book Pro - Delayed response to keyboard input

Often, not long after I start up, I experience a delay between typing or deleting - or anything else from the keyboard - and the response from the screen. Sometimes several seconds. I can cure it by restarting and I often have to several times a day. Doesn't appear to be specific to having a particular application running.
Any ideas?

I seem to have solved it. Via 'Menu Meters" i noted that the processor was very busy while I was typing. So I opened Activity Monitor and found that "Caps warn" and 'typeit4me were very busy - as was Mail. So I downloded that latest version of both and all seems to be well.

All response from start Internet from Idle, response to strarting from rest to response to initiating start of Lauch of Internet, is slow. Receiving Kerberos, is slow.

The Power Management Logs.
Pmc connection response from SystemServer, is slow. 1639 Pmconnection is slow.
Kerrel response from Powered is slow.
Why are all of these file transfers slow?
Then I have messages, connection to apple.com.message.com. gateway iis open, unsafe.
Keberos
ethernet, transfer allowed, then it says there is no flow, and it then says, Debug, folloed by a long chain of intergers. I am not a Computer Programer.
I can grasp the simple concepts of what these messages mean, but, I have not idea, what the data with all these long chains of numbers mean.
But, I do understand, that the flow through the ethernet is not at top speeds. And I do understad that the word, Debug, means bad.
So, I'm sure I will have to go into the shop, and have their team run diagnostics, and find out why these, systems, are slow and not getting the Optimum connections to my Internes services, And tell me why the Gateway is open, Unsafe.

Sorry to hear about the issues you've been having. Hard drives do sometimes fail, and it really isn't a fun experience when it does. I don't work for Apple, but I'm a certified tech that like others has access to the warranty repair system and I know how it works. Normally we get all parts very quickly, but there are some cases where backorders and incorrect repairs are inputted which slow things down.
Apple actually does read the forums and responds to them as well. I have several friends who do just that. I would suggest to the repair center that they try the "mark for review" checkbox because this shouldn't be taking this long and it will get a repair advisor's attention to find what's delaying it. Hopefully it'll be resolved shortly.
