Delete a incorrect email address from Email history

I accidentally entered an incorrect address email into my 3G S. I sent an email to that address and now it shows in my history.
When i go to send an email to anyone who's name begins with "S" the incorrect address is there at the top of the list. Every other address has the "type" of address, i.e home, work next to it but the incorrect address does not, it just has the email address.
How do i delete either the incorrect address off my phone, please note that it is not anywhere else on my phone, it is not in her "contact info" or how do i clear the "sent email" history?
I have restored the "factory settings" and also done the "press the home key and off button until the phone switches off" trick. Nothing has worked
Please someone help me as it is driving me CRAZY!

The Mail app on the iPhone/iPod Touch does have an option to clear previous recipients. The only way to remove these cached email addresses from the Mail application is restoring the iPhone/iPod Touch as a new phone/iPod. If you restore from backup, the cache is also restored.

You can't. There is no way to eliminate those remembered addresses in the mail app. Eventually if you keep ignoring that address it will go away, but it can take some time before it disappears. The only way that you can eliminate now, is by restoring the iPad to factory settings and that's pretty radical just to get rid of a mistyped email address - IMO anyway.

How do I delete an old home address from autofill?

I bought some tape from a company called Tape Brothers. I entered my home address for billing and shipping. Somehow during the process, it used autofill to add my old address from another state I lived in 18 months ago, and filled in THAT address. In the website's own account information for me it shows my new address first, and my old address second, buy autofill apparently filled in the old address instead. The 'expert' at the vendor site told me that the problem wasn't their system, but my autofil function of Firefox. Is there a way for me to delete that old address so that it can never autofil it again? If I completely delete Firefox and reload it, will that fix my issue?

You can check if that got removed by revisiting the page and check the drop-down list.
If you highlight an entry and press the Delete key then that entry should be gone if you click the down arrow again.
I'm not sure if this is a normal autocomplete (saved form data) or a name/password combination, but this should work in both cases.
Saved names and passwords can be found in the Password Manager.

For saved form data there isn't a user interface to inspect and manage items that Firefox has stored and the only way to check for those is to visit the page where you saved them and check the drop-down list if the input field.

How can I delete and e-mail address from thunderbird?

I tried to download my e-mail address to thunderbird, but the spelling of the domain was wrong. I then added the e-mail account with a correctly spelled name. Now I have two e-mail accounts and it keeps trying to connect with the wrong one. I need to get it deleted from the account.

From the menu bar select Tools-Account Settings
Select the account to remove.
At the bottom of the account list select Account Actions-Remove Account

I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on your exact situation or configuration. If you simply need to change the information in Messages, you should be able to do so in the Message Settings outlined in these articles:

If this is a used iPhone that still has the previous owner's information on it or associated with it, you may find it easier to simply reset it as a new device, as noted here:

How do I delete an individual web address from the drop-down list of the address bar?

I'm using FF 36.0.1 for Ubuntu.
I used to do that with just Delete button in earlier version. Now nor Del, nor Shift\Ctr+Del do not working. Is this a bug?
Please don't tell me about history in menu. I won't go there every time I need to delete a broken url.

Note that is this item has a star at the right then it is a bookmark and you would have to remove the bookmark to remove that item permanently.

Deleting calendars & e-mail addresses from iTunes "info" tab.

When I connect my iphone to my Mac, in iTunes launches when I look at the "info" tab there are calendars and e-mail addresses greyed out. (I use icloud so I don't sync my e-mail & calendars on the Mac.) Is there any way to delete those as one of the e-mail addresses and calendars I no longer use. It's not a make or break issue, more of just wanting to clean them out. I am running Lion on a MacBook Pro. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

This is all part of the risk of making yourself a public figure.
Your e-mail address is necessary in your feed file so Apple can communicate with you if needed. Since Apple is not going to manually process that address to remove any bot-blocking characters, you need to keep it "real".
Using a gmail or other somewhat independant address can help limit the visibility of your primary address.

Clearing email addresses from history

is there any way to clear email addresses from the history? not my contacts, the saved addresses that I've previously sent to. I tried deleting the email acct but they still come up when I re-added the account. thanks.

You know like on outlook when you dont want an address to appear again you bring up the address and then highlight it and then hit the delete button and its gone from your history for good.

Registered new account and accidently put in incorrect email

Got new Ipod touch and registered a new account but put in the incorrect email address (one letter off), all other info correct including name, CC, and iTunes gift card number. I can't confirm this account because it sends confirmation to incorrect email. I tried starting a new account with the correct email and info but it won't accept the iTunes card number. How can I delete old addresses from the automatic fill?

I set up a new account on a G4 PowerMac with 10.3.9 installed. This computer was being used previously by one of my other users. My question is: whenever the new user wants to send a new message and she types in the address she needs to use, it is set to automatically fill the address. All of the old user's addresses still appear as choices. How do I delete all the old addresses? I've already deleted all the old addresses from the address book. But they still appear in the automatic fill. Is there a cache somewhere to empty?
