Delete a manually added item from the Dashboard...

I wanted to delete an item i placed in the dashboard but i don't know how to do it, searching in the preferences but cannot find anything and the delete button does not seem to do the trick...

From My Mac's Help File:
To remove a widget:
To open Dashboard, press the Dashboard key (pictured below).If your keyboard doesn’t have a Dashboard key, press Fn-F12. If your keyboard doesn’t have an Fn key, press F12.
Click the Open button to open the widget bar.
Click Manage Widgets.
Do one of the following:
To remove a widget’s name from the widget bar, deselect it in the list.
To remove a widget from your computer, click its Remove button, and then click OK. Widgets that are preinstalled with Mac OS X don’t have Remove buttons.

When I download music into Itunes and move songs into playlists, Itunes has twice randomly deleted all recently added songs from the playlists they have been added to. It is driving me crazy. Has anyone else had this problem?

When I download music into Itunes on my PC, every song is transferred into a specific playlist. Twice now when I have opened up Itunes, all the recent songs that have been moved into playlists have been deleted by Itunes. I now have to go back and figure out which songs are missing and re-add them. It is driving me crazy. I have 10,000 songs and now have no idea which ones are missing and which ones have been retained.
Please help. Does anyone else have this problem?

How can I delete an item from the main left column of iTunes?

I'd like to delete an item from the main left hand column in iTunes (the column containing the main headings LIBRARY, STORE, SHARED, PLAYLISTS etc etc). Under the first heading 'LIBRARY' appear the items Library, Music, Movies, iTunes U, Books, Apps and Ringtones. I'd like to remove the item "Library" from that list - it appears immediately after the heading "LIBRARY" and serves no purpose whatsoever. (Neither does it appear to cause any harm, I must say, just a nuisance.) This item does not appear in any of the iTunes viewing options or controls lists. Neither does it appear in iTunes in the other accounts on my Mac and I have yet to see it any other iTunes on any other Mac.
I've upgraded since about iTunes 8 assuming the problem would eventually disappear through the upgrades but it hasn’t, even through all the providedupgrade increments available for iTunes.
I'm assuming it's from something I've installed in my main user account at some stage and it entered this item in the iTunes app. But I can't see how to remove it. The only things I can remember installing are "iTunes Batch Column Renamer" and "Join Together", both if which are just Scripts and which I use fairly regularly, but I don't recall either of them installing that particular item.
Is there any folder I can navigate to to edit the list of items in that main left hand column of iTunes?

on second thought, that you have an item "library" is indeed odd - there shouldn't be.
suggest you try removing iTunes completely (click here and follow the instructions), then reinstall it using the standalone installer from here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/.
note this will not do anything to your media files, playlists, ratings, etc.
btw, you didn't install any 3rd party tools like this script:

I had this problem as well. You can't delete them but you can hide them by swiping across from the cloud to. The other side then pressing hide

You can see what your iCloud storage is used for and delete any unwanted content at settings > iCloud > Backup & Storage > Manage...... on your iOS device. Or System Preferences > iCloud > Manage...... on a Mac.
You have 3 options......
    1.    Purchase more iCloud storage.
    2.    Delete data or back ups that are being stored in iCloud already.
    3.    Turn off items to be included in the next back up to reduce its size.

I don't believe so and I'm not sure why you would want to.
Items should not be placed in the Trash unless you intend to delete the items. The Trash is not designed for and should not be used as a temporary storage location.

U can do this in two ways one u can short close the order by entering Reason for rejection in VA02 at header level and if yr order is multiple line item order u can enter the reason for rejection in any of the line item which u don't want to deliver.
This is called short close ( as the qty is not delivered fully).

From within the Pages app, no. If you have an iTunes or iCloud backup that would have contained the file, and you are backing up Pages, it could be received via a restore using that backup (this would wipe out any newer data however).

If by chance you have v10.7 Lion installed not v10.6.8 as your profile suggests, deselect Safari in System Preferences > iCloud then try deleting an item from the Bookmark bar.

You can manage Widgets in the Dashboard; Apple Support has some
info in the software pages, per topic; or you can 'google' as I did to get

At the moment, I'm running 10.3.9 in an older Mac; or I'd just open
Dashboard and be doing it. My other PPC G4 Mac has 10.4.9 and
dashboard with Widgets. I have a few extras I like; but don't look

Ok that is easy.
1) File > New Smart Playlist.
2) Make sure match the following rule is checked
3)The first drop down change to date added.
4)Set the second drop down setting
5) Enter the number you want based on step 4
The rest of the check marks are up to you but make sure "Live Updating" is checked.
Take some time playing around with the smartlists. I love them!! I have a 2 level smartlist at work, I hardly use the regular playlists.
