    Thanks

    Hi,
There you search for the query and delete that only.
Or just double click on the request in which you want to delete. It will shows as Display request, There find out the request with technical name, select it and choose cut, save the request.
    it will delete the request.
    Hope it helps you.

  • Unlock objects from transport requests

    Hi Gurus
I was doing the SAP_Basis support pack upgrade, in netweaver 7.1 and many of the objects seems to be locked in transport requests. as my understanding, i have two options only,
    1. replease transport - but it can create issues to us, as that will automatically imported to the next system in teh landscape, so unwanted requests will move to QAs system
    2. unlock objects from transport request.
So i did the second option, but it had a message that it can create inconsistencies in the system, do u know what all the meassures we need to take, if we unlock objects from the transport requests. Is it required to delete the transport requests,
by mistake , if someone releases the that transport, whether it will release the old object or the new object.
Please suggest what would be the best recomended approch by SAP
    Bijoy Babu

    Hi Bijoy,
Its better to release the TR and then delete the same from the queue before it is imported into the following system. This will avoid any inconsistancy when the TR released after the SP application.

  • How to delete bulk of objects from transport request?

    Hi
I made some mistake in selecting the objects for transport, and now there are a lot of unwanted objects saved under the request number. I know the objects can be deleted from the transport request through SE01, SE09 and SE10. But none of these allows me to delete the request number because there are a objects under the request that has to be deleted first.
Is there any way by which i can delete the entire list of objects in one go rather than deleting them one by one?
    Thanx
    Sujai

    Hi,
You have to Unlock the request before you deleting the request.
Goto SE03->Under Requests/Tasks Double Click on Unlock Objects (Expert Tool)-> enter the Request no you want to Delete and Click on Execute -. Click on Unlock. Now you can Delete that Request.

  • Delete from Transport request

    Hi,
I had captured an InfoObject in my transport request which I don't want to transport. But I have already transported it to QAS.
Please let me know how I can delete it from the request so it will not be moved to Production.
    Thanks
    NEWBW

    Hi:
    Nothing. You are OK.
<i>This will still allow the IO to be moved to Prod. Which I don't want.</i>
I thought you said that you NEVER want to move it to PROD. SO, I gave you an alternative.
There will not be any complications in moving the I-Object to PROD and deleting it in the next transport.

  • How to remotely control objects from transport request

    Hi all,
I have to perform some task but can't find the way to get it done. What I have to do is:
    a) get list of transport requests for given SAP system (i.e. its import queue)
    b) let the user choose transport requests from the list
    c) get list of all objects from chosen transport requests
    d) control these objects in source and destination (from point a) ) SAP system.
Points a) to c) are easy and already done (using appropriate function modules and ALV objects). But I have no idea how to do things from point d). Control means comparison of dates (i.e. last modified) of objects in source and destination SAP system. The main goal of this approach is to avoid transportation of older objects from source system (DEV) and overwritting newer versions of the objects in destination system (PRD). I tried to use SAP versioning system to check versions remotely (the same way as it can be done from standard SAP transactions, e.g. SE38 for program source) with RFC and it worked fine (see function module SVRS_DISPLAY_REMOTE_DIR). But what about other objects not covered with versioning system? There are 932 objects that can be transported (at least TR_OBJECT_TABLE function module says so). Versions management system covers about 30 (program source, function module, object methods, table definitions, lock objects, and so on) of them. The problem is with the rest (900 transportable objects).
How can I check their dates remotely in source and destination SAP system. Any clues? Manual retrieval of the information about dates of 900 various SAP elements must be very difficult (if possible at all) because so many objects must be spreaded out in many tables. Is there any universal or standard way (report, RFC function module) to get required information?
    Thanx in advance,
    Jacek Witczak

    Hi
There is no automatic way to delete the unnecessary objects from the transport reqeust.
    1. Go to Tcode se09 and select the request which contains the unnecessary objects.
    2. Select the unnecessary objects and delete manually.
Also if you want to delete the entire request then unlock the request in the tcode SE03 and then delete the request completely.
Also note that if the request is released then you will not be able to delete the objects in that request.
    Hope it helps.

  • How to collect the deleted query in a transport request.

    Hi Friends,
I have created a query and transported it to the Quality, the data content is all ok, except that i have not used the Project Naming conventions. Now i have a defect against my name for this. I have to copy the same query with the correct Naming convention and transport it.
My question is after copying the query with correct name i have to delete the old query (if not there would be 2 versions of the same query). How do i collect the deleted image of the query in a transport and send it to quality?.
I tried deleting a test query from Bex Designer, but this does not ask me for a transport. should i use RSZDELETE?. Not sure if it asks for a transport request when i delete the query.
Can someone pls tell me how to go about this?.
    Thanks in advance.
    BN

    Hi BN,
I do agree that deleting directly in Quality and Prod is not good way and not recommeded.
I have not tried and deleted. But if the system is configured in such a way  that if it doesnt ask for a request
then i feel you have no option.
If any object is deleted then you must have the deletion image collected into request at the same point when you are deleting.Because later when we go to transport connection we wont find the object itself.
What i think from your point as you said you have done earlier  is you must have any open request regrding this query and when this query is deleted , the deletion image is also included in the same request.
So go to se03 and give your deleted query name and check all the requests.
Check in the requests when the deletion image is captured or not. we might be knowing that this is cpatured.

  • Error in FM DDIF_NAMETAB_GET when deleting BI objects via transport request

    Dear all,
when importing a transport request in which several types of BI objects are deleted (Infocubes, DSO's, transformations, routines, DTP's, query elements, infosets, process chains). The import terminates only when transporting from acceptance to production with return code 12 due to an uncaught exception:
Transporting from development to acceptance did not raise this exception.
The ST22 dump (see below) refers in the "contents of system fields" section to a DSO, and to post-import activities. The DSO and the associated tables could not be found (rsa1 & se16), since they are deleted as desired.
Some of the relevant notes that I have found do refer to DSO related problems, but they all indicate to install SP19 which we already have installed (BW 7.0 Patch Level 23)
Could you please assist in pointing out potential solutions based on the information from the ST22 Runtime Error below?
    Kind regards,

    Hi All
We are also experiencing this same error when transporting deletions of multiple objects.
Although the transport was cancelled in the destination system (production) it appears to have largely deleted all objects successfully except for DSOs.
The DSOs still appear in the table RSDODSO (via SE11) but are not visible anywhere else.  When you try to view the DSO via RSDODS a warning appears saying "DataStore object to be deleted by transport -> delete only allowed".  If you try to delete them in this transaction the same ABAP runtime error as the transport appears.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

  • Delete an already released transport request

    Hello together,
I have a problem in SE09/SE10 with a transport request.
    The request is as follows:
    Modifiable
        D01K939667 100   Username     /Description
            D01K939668   Username          Customizing Task
The requests itself has the status "Modifiable". The task D01K939668 within the request is already released. I have to delete the whole request now, but when trying to delete it, it says "Request D01K939668  already released". How can I delete a task within a request, that is already released?
    Thank you for any help!
    Best regards
    Klaus Hirschegger

    Of course, you can
But you have to chnage status of the request:
Use transaction SE38 or SA38 and run program: RDDIT076
Set your request number and run the program
After request is shown double click on it
You should be able to change status from R to D
And now, you can delete the transport for example in transaction: SE10...

  • Import only one object from transport request

    Hello,
I have a transport request with some programs. I've not imported this request yet. And I would like to import only one program or just look at its source code. Is it possible with help of any standart SAP functionality?
    Thank you in advance,Sergey.

    Hi,
Go to SE10 and display the transports for your username. Select the task number (not transport no.) and hit display object list icon. There you will see all the objects in the task. Hit change button and you will see delete icon enabled. You may select the objects you do not want to transport and delete it from the task.
Version > 4.6C may have different screens but still the functionality is available

  • Release object from transport request

    HI
I want to take off two objects from my transport request.
How is it possible without releasing all the exisiting objects from the request.
    Regards,
    Tapish

    Hi Tapish,
You can go in any of the following ways
1)Goto SE01 and give your transport request number.
goto your task and click on edit button. you will get the list of all objects in a table.
click on the object that needs to be deleted and click on the delete button.
2)Goto se03 and give your request number to unlock all the objects.
click on the objects that need to be deleted and click on delete button on top.
dont forget to lock the objects after deleting the required
The second option will  work in your case i guess.
    Hope this helps..
    Cheers,
    Srinath.

  • Move task from transport request

    Hi,
I've created a report and I assigned the development to a wrong transport order.
How can I move the task to another transport order?

I think you are meaning workbench transprot request request by transport order. If it is, then yes you can move the task from the wrong transport request. Follow these steps
    1. Go to SE10 and find the transport request.
    2. Now locate the task under which your report is assigned in the transport request. Now expand the task and right click on your report name and select 'Delete'. It will give some warning message, select yes every time and the report will be removed from the transport request.
    3. Now go to SE38 and open your report. Then try to save it. it will again ask for transport request. Now give the correct transport request.
    Thanks,
    Mainak
