When I Delete an email from the pc, does not delete the email from the iPad. I'm not able to find a setting to fix this. Does it mean I have to manually delete the emails from the iPad?

POP does not support synchronization between the server and clients. You will need to use IMAP or Exchange Active Sync if your email provider supports it.

I am having the same problems as this person. I see that someone said there is no way to retrieve the pictures once it gets stuck in recovery mode.
Then further along someone said that there are data retrieval methods except they have something to do with jail breaking a phone.
My phone is already jail broken. It was kind of a gift from the company I work for- it was a fellow employees before. He jail broke it and then it was given to me. After I got it I activated the 4 and tried to back up everything. It didn't work and "Springboard" forced the phone into safety mode. So I could use it with the old dude's apps and my contacts. I made the mistake of using the phone for wedding dress shopping with a friend. I took tons of pictures.
After this I found out the messages I was seeing meant it was jail broken. At&t said to force restore the phone - iTunes wouldn't recognize it in safety mode. I'm an idiot and didn't realize what this meant for my pictures. It didn't work (error 1611) - thankfully. Now it is stuck in recovery mode (iTunes icon and USB cable picture).
Can I access that media in any way? It never suceeded restoring itself so is it still there? The phone is jail broken already so is there a method I can use?

Error when trying to re-mount a VHDx (the version does not support this version of the file format)

I have a vhdx on a NAS that I use for server backup. I created the VHDx via disk management, mounted it and assigned drive letter X. I now created a script that gets triggered upon startup via task scheduler to remount the VHD. If I try to mount it however,
it tells me this:
No matter what I try, I can't mount it. Double clicking just says this:
Eventviewer spits out error 137: The default transaction resource manager on volume X: encountered a non-retryable error and could not start. The data contains the error code.
How do I trouble shoot this? oO Originally I had created the VHD as expanding, where now I recreated it at it's full size of 900GB. Maybe that will make a difference.

Hi Maike,
Do you mean that you can mount the VHDX via disk management but cannot mount it via a script? If so, please provide the diskpart’s mount commands in the script.
In the meantime, check if destination partition is NTFS formatted.

I can not mount it after a reboot. So I create the VHDx via disc management and attach it afterwards without problem. After the server reboots and the attached VHDx dropps, I can't remount it. Gives me the errors I posted above.
As I had mentioned above, I recreated the VHDx at it's full size this time, rather than expanding. That worked just fine and I can remount after reboot.
So I consider this dealt with ;)

It never - ever has. The manufacturer's warranty covers you against faults due to manufacturing. (So if the screen did crack due to a manufacturing defect, Apple warranty would cover it, BUT - Apple would be aware and would be able to identify the cause of a cracked screen due to manufacturing defects, so ...)

I have an even simpler method. I use MyPublisher to print my books. I select their page layout for a two-page spread, drag and drop the image. DONE! Since it is in the download, I am unable to permanently delete these (over 100) cookies and they continue to reoccur each time I open the browser. Sometimes the cookies will not delete when I try to remove only "one" cookie and I must remove "all". I have used Firefox as my browser for years but this has never happened.

You can't remove opt-out cookies that are added by an extension as long as that extension is enabled or installed. If you choose to install such an extension then you have to accept the presence of 100 or more cookies added by the extension.

Yes. The issue here is that iPhone does not issue the "expunge" command after deleting the message. If you have a PC at work and are using Outlook, you may want to run a utility that will periodically expunge the deleted messages so you don't have to do double duty deleting. A good one is here -- note, you must scroll down to the comments for the link to the updated binary that supports SSL if it is enabled on your Exchange server:

Uninstall the application does not delete all new files and folders.

If the user decides to uninstall my Air app, it does not delete the created folders with files in AppData. Another problem is that if the application creates new files in the folder Program Files/AirAppFolder, then uninstall of the app are not deleted these files.

AIR shouldn't be creating additional files in your program files folder, is this something you're doing programmatically? If so, you might want to consider using File.applicationStorageDirectory instead given permission problems you'll have on newer operating systems.
As to uninstalling all files (even the data created in the user's storage folder) this is something you might consider using a native installer to take care of. Since the AIR installer is unaware of this data, it won't know to delete it on uninstall. Instead, you'll want to create a custom function in a native installer that deletes these folders/files and then sub launches the AIR install/uninstall.

My customer initially installed JES (Portal + AM + DS) on the same box.
Now, they have a change in their requirement. They want DS to run dedicatedly in another box.
I have successfully installed a fresh instance of DS in the new box with the same domain name (thus maintaining the same dn). I have copied over 99user.ldif and exported all the data from the original DS in the old box.
Everything is running fine. DS in the new box is able to function properly.
On the Portal and AM side, I have changed the following file:
1. AMConfig.properties
2. serverconfig.xml
3. PSConfig.properties
I have also changed the Primary LDAP entry in iPlanetAMAuthLDAPService, iPlanetAMAuthMembershipService, and iPlanetAMPolicyConfigService.
However, when I started AM (which is running on Sun Web Server), I got the following error message:

When I open Photoshop CS6, the image does not show in Photoshop. The image IS open, i.e. the filename is shown on a tab and the image layers show in the layer panel. What is going on?

Both Photoshop and Bridge open as usual. But when I open an image, the image does not show in the image area. The image filename does show in a tab and the layers show in the layer panel. What is going on and how do I fix this.

I resolved the problem. It was somehow related to my using Microsoft
theme pictures. I set Windows to use the basic theme and the problem
went away. Thank you for the suggestions.

Deleted Mail on the iPhone does not delete on .Mac

I've noticed that when I delete mail on my iPone in my .Mac account that it does not show as deleted when going to webmail.mac.com. I see the messages still in my inbox AND in the trash.
Any ideas why this is not synching?

I found that there was a slight time lapse from when I managed a message on my iPhone (with .Mac) to when it showed the same status on my Mail.app (.Mac). For example, I deleted a message directly from my Inbox (iPhone) and it moved to trash. But it took about 2 minutes for that same message to show up in my trash on my machine. It just sat as a new, unread message on my laptop and then suddenly during the next send/receive interval it was put into the trash (still marked as unread, though).
Have you allowed any sort of time lapse? Or are you viewing the webmail view of your .Mac account simultaneously as your actions on the iPhone?
