How to delete photos and albums from ipad mini
How do i delete photos from my ipad mini, i jave synced to my mac alrready, needing to make space on ipad
Delete them on your computer, then sync to your iPad.
Your iPad can delete Camera Roll contents, but not photos that are stored on your computer. -

I also would like to find out how to delete photos from the ipad. Everyone that is answering is talking about how to get them on and how to do stuff on the iphone. Please stay focused if you're goign to answer. don't be talking just to hear yourselves talk. If you're going to answer, please just answer the question. Apparently everyone that has answered doesn't know. Putting the ipad usermanual is not helpful. If we wanted to read that monster we would have.
Wow!
I thought it might be worthwhile to put your useless piece of excrement up and let everyone enjoy it at least one more time.
Had you read "... that monster..." you might have twigged to the fact that what they are talking about is in fact how it's done and, contrary to your claim, those that answered do in fact know, and did answer the question. The fact that you don't know is understandable, the fact you're too lazy or uncaring to do anything on your own regrettable, and the fact that people are wasting time responding to you very much a one-time thing. -
I can't delete 2 photo albums from my Ipad 2... What am I doing wrong?
I can't delete 2 photo albums from my Ipad 2... What am I doing wrong? I go to the photo app, then albums and 2 show up, I tap edit and nothing happens... I just want to delete these...
How did they get on the iPad ? Only albums created directly on the iPad can be deleted via the Edit button.
Albums/photos that were synced from your computer can't be deleted directly in the Photos app - you either need to move/remove/de-select them from where they were synced from on your computer and re-sync, or you might be able to delete all synced photos/albums by swiping across the 'Photo Library' line in Settings > General > Usage > Photos & Camera (that should give you a Delete button, but I haven't tried tapping it to see if it works). -
How do I delete photo albums from Ipad 2?
How do I delete photo albums or photos in photo albums from IPad 2?
If the photos that you want to delete are in the Camera Roll, just tap on the photo that you want to delete, then tap the trash can in the upper right hand corner and select delete. If you are in the thumbnail view, tap on the curved arrow icon in the upper right corner and then tap on the photo or photos that you want to delete, then tap on delete in the upper left part of the screen.
If the photos that you want to delete are on the iPad from a previous sync with iTunes, you have to sync to iTunes to delete them. Deselect the photos in iTunes while your iPad is connected and then sync and the photos will be removed from the device -
How delete other storage from ipad air?
How delete other storage from ipad air?
The iOS will NOT automatically delete "other" if the device gets full. That is totally incorrect.
"Other" is basically all of the data and stuff that does not fit into any of the other categories on the device, like apps, photos, music, videos, and so on. It contains Safari Bookmarks and History, Notes, Contacts, Email messages, Text Messages, photos assigned to contacts, cached app data (but not documents themselves) etc. When "other" becomes too large, it can take up a lot of space and cause problems. It should not be more than a few GB at most and for most people it would probably be around 400MB - 2 GB.
IF something gets corrupted on the iPad and "other" grows out of control, you may have to restore the device in order to clear that data. One starting point troubleshooting step for dealing with the problem is to backup your iPad, restore to factory settings and then restore the backup. There are also other less invasive things that you can try first.
A Google search will turn up many articles that talk about how to reduce "other" on an iOS device.

How can I delete a photo album from my IPad?
How can I delete a photo album from my I Pad?
You can turn off photo stream via Settings > iCloud > Photo Stream 'off' , I don't think that it is possible to remove individual photo stream photos. From http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4486 :
Individual photos cannot be deleted from your Photo Stream. You can, however, delete all the photos in your Photo Stream by clicking the Reset Photo Stream button in your account at icloud.com. The Reset Photo Stream button will instantly delete all Photo Stream photos stored in iCloud, but it will not remove any Photo Stream photos that have already been pushed to your devices.
After deleting the photos from your Photo Stream in iCloud, you can remove the Photo Stream photos from your devices as follows:
On your iOS devices, go to Settings > iCloud > Photo Stream and turn Photo Stream off. This will delete all the photos from your Photo Stream album. If there are any photos you want to keep on your device, make sure to add them to an album or save them to your Camera Roll first. -
HT1766 How to send videos from ipad air to the cloud to free up storage space on ipad
How do I send videos from ipad air to the cloud to free up storage space on ipad?
I had a similar/same problem - when I deleted the video locally, it did not appear as a Cloud video.
To solve this, I deleted it locally, signed out of iCloud, powered of the iPad, powered back on, opened videos (empty), signed back into iCloud.
Now all my videos are present in the cloud, and none locally.
Not a great UX though -
Can't delete some specific music from iPad
I'm getting frustrated now. Tried everything but unable to delete a specific album from my ipad. It has synced with my macbook, but it simply cannot be removed, no matter what! It shows on the left hand device music drop down, but not as a selected album on the music page.
Thanks for the response but that's not it. I've deselected sync music from within itunes, and the music is still there
Any more suggestions? -
Dear Community members,
I am unable to synch photo albums from iPad 3 to iTunes on my Windows 7 pc.
In addition to Camera roll and iPod cache default albums, I have 6 other albums made from pix derived from the camera roll. Eg - Family pix in a folder, Office pix in another, Plant pixs in another, House architecture pix in another.......all also exist in the camera roll.
I have trawled the net for the last 8 hrs in vain!
I have ios5 on Ipad 3 and the latest Itunes on Windows PC.
As a precaution, I have used the windows "add pictures from...." to keep a copy in a separate folder in the windows desktop, but again it has all the pics mixed up together and not sorted as per the various albums in the ipad!
How to replicate the albums in the windows PC???
Regards
Sohal NSSync the photos back to the iPad using iTunes. You have to place the photos into a folder from which you sync photos. All photos that you want to sync to the device must be included in the main photos folder and selected to sync each time that you sync.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Photos Tab on the right.
Click on the Sync Photos From heading in order to select it.
Select the photos folder that you want to sync from.
Select all of the albums or photos within the folder that you want to sync.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes

I made a purchase of an album on iTunes...somehow I deleted the whole album from my iMac and now when I go back to my purchases it does not give me the option to download the whole album again, instead it gives me the option of plaing them...please help!!
Where are you looking to download them from ? You might be able to redownload them via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your Mac's iTunes. If that album shows there but doesn't have the cloud symbol against it for redownloading then that implies that it's still in your iTunes library
