Delete and Junk Buttons Disabled

I noticed today that the "Delete" and "Junk" buttons in Mail's toolbar have become disabled ("grayed out"), even with a highlighted message in the message list pane. (I use a "three-pane" configuration, if that matters.) All the other buttons (Reply, Reply All, Forward, New Message, Get Mail, Note, and To Do) work fine.
If I open a message into its own window, those buttons are active.
All buttons work fine on another computer running the same OS version. I haven't installed any updates in the last few days.
Does anyone have any ideas about what might be going on or how I could fix it? Thanks for any ideas.

This is strange. With only a reboot (no updates applied), those buttons are now working again.

  • Why is the "Delete" and "Junk" buttons repleased with the "Archive" button (Only for one of the accounts)?

    Hello,
    I must have changed a setting, so that the "Delete" and "Junk" buttons above the mail pane have disappeared, and an "Archive" button has appeared instead. This is true only for my mail through Gmail (IMAP), but when i open a mail from my other account (POP), i still see the "Delete" and "Junk" buttons.
    How can I fix this?
    Thanks in advance
    Ayse

    Try this:
    Select an email that does not show all the correct buttons in the header information section above the actual message.
    right click on the blank area just above 'Other Actions', you should get a popup saying 'Customise'.
    click on 'Customise'
    a new window opens.
    you can drag items onto that header area, but I would suggest you click on 'Restore Default Set' button and then clickon 'Done' button.

  • Succession Planning 3.0 - Job Competencies - Hide Delete and Edit button

    Hi,
    In the detail panel of Job, there is a tab for Competencies.
    How do I hide the Delete and Edit button for each of the competency that is in the listing?
    I tried the file enable_actions.xsl and change the value to False.
    <xsl:variable name="enable_edit_competency">false</xsl:variable>
    <xsl:variable name="enable_delete_competency">false</xsl:variable>
    This remove the Delete and Edit button in the Job details, but it also remove the buttons in employee details.
    I want to keep the button in Employee Details.
    Thanks

    Hi Luke!
    Thanks for the tips!
    I copied sap_competencies_xsl.xsl to zzsap_competencies_xsl.xsl
    Then i changed the value
    "$enable_delete_competency = 'na'"
    Then, in sap_job_to_competencies.xsl
    <xsl:include href="nakisa://Titan_Templates_SRS/ZZSAP_COMPETENCIES_XSL.xsl"/>
    It works after a restart!
    Thanks

  • CCM 2.0 Approve and Reject buttons disabled

    Hi!!!
    We log into de CAT with the Catalog Approver User. And when we go to the Procurement Catalog, the approve and reject buttons are disabled.
    The procurement Catalog has the status To Be Approved (we defined it in the spro), so the items that I mapped from the Supplier to the Mater and to the Master to the Procurement catalog have this status.
    I loged in to the Procurement Catalog with the Catalog Manager and assigned the approver to the catalog (CCM_APROVER). And this user has the role of approver (we have double checked in the pfcg).
    Any idea why the buttons are disabled?
    THANKS IN ADVANCED!!!!

    Hi Jay, Hay Nimish,
    First of all, thanks for reply.
    I think that we have found the problem. Is in relation to the transaction SICF. But we won't be able to check it until monday.
    If the SICF solution doesn't work I will get back to you.
    Thanks once again!

  • A1 - Menu, Home and Back buttons disabled???

    Hi, I restored my system to the original factory settings on my Lenovo A1, and now front buttons (menu, home and back) are disabled. Is there any way to enable/disable front buttons???
    Thanks

    Are you through the setup phase following the reset?  Did that seem to go normally?
    If you haven't powered the device completely off and rebooted it, do so.  If that doesn't fix the problem, try resetting the device again.

  • Chart - PREVIEW and SAVE buttons disabled.

    I am using BI Publisher Desktop with WORD 2007 on VISTA. When I attempt to add a chart to a rtf template, the PREVIEW and SAVE buttons are disabled. I can move data fields from the Data section into the Layout Section, select chart type, even the style. Everything appears to work just fine but I can not preview or save. The template file is not in any restricted folder. I can add a table, then save and preview the document just fine.
    I have even openned some of the samples that came with the download and when I view the properties on an existing chart, I see the same disabled buttons.

    Which menu path are you using?
    Are the items available for personalization?

  • JFileChooser "List" and "Details" button disabled.

    Hi,
    The two buttons "List" and "Details" buttons on the top-right of my JFileChooser dialog box are both disabled.
    Dose anyone know how to enable them?
    Thanks
    slam

    Here's a solution. I still think there should be a more official way of doing this.
    public MyFileView(JFileChooser chooser)
              for ( Component c : chooser.getComponents())
                   if (c.getClass() == FilePane.class)
                        filePane = (FilePane) c;
         @Override
         public String getName(File f)
              if (filePane.getViewType() == FilePane.VIEWTYPE_DETAILS){
                   return "Long";
              return null;
         }

  • "Accept and Submit" button disabled

    I am trying to applying for Adobe Runtimes / Reader Distribution License Agreement but the "Accept and Submit" button is disabled on https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=distribution_form. I have tried everthing I could but unable to proceed. Please help. Thanks.

    One more thing: Since I did not have Safari installed on my office computer on which I was facing the problem, I tried at home on my home computer using Safari which worked. So, I do not know if the problem was with web browser only. It is also possible that on my home computer, I might have had another version of Java and/or different settings.

  • Dropdowns and many buttons disabled in PWA 2007 after Microsoft Project Professional 2010 has been installed

    Hi Team,
    I have Microsoft Project professional 2007 installed and also using PWA for 2007.
    I recently installed Microsoft Project Professional 2010, and since the time i installed 2010 all the button in PWA 2007 have been disabled.
    1. I could not select a project from "Project Center"
    2. I could not select resources from "Manage Resources"
    3. I could not select dropdowns in the project properties even if the project is selected.
    ALl the other team members are able to use both without any issues.
    I also uninstalled IE8 browser and re-installed, that didn't help.
    I could use PWA normally after 2010 is uninstalled.
    Please suggest a solution for this.

    Try running a repair on Project Professional 2007. You always have to do this after installing a newer version of project. Always run a repair on the previous version. What's happening is that PWA is not seeing 2007 on your machine because 2010 overwrote
    some of the shared objects.

  • Inherit and POSIX buttons disabled for AFP

    When I go in the protocols Pane of the Workgroup Manager, the settings for AFP won't let me chose between POSIX or Inherit behaviour. The buttons are disabled.
    The Windows setting let me do this though.
    How can I get control back over those buttons and the Inherit behaviour?

    Hi
    If the Server is 10.4/x disable ACLs on the Volume. WGM > Share Points > All and select the volume, next select General and untick 'Enable ACLs for this volume'. If the Server is 10.5 you have to use the command line:
    sudo fsaclctl -p path -d disable
    Regardless of which server version it is whenever you disable/enable ACLs always restart the server afterwards.
    Hope this helps, Tony

  • How to disable browser next and previous buttons for entire ADF application

    Hi,
    JDev Ver : 11.1.1.2.0
    How can I disable the browser navigation buttons next and previous for my entire ADF application.
    If user click on page and then if it press backspace key then it should not go back to the previous opend url and the current page should remain as it is.
    How can I do this ?
    regards,
    devang

    Back button (and backspace) will always go to the previous page. However, with a single master page, the previous page will be the page that called the application so users won't be likely to use it to navigate. The idea of opening the application in a new window/tab is also a nice addition to prevent the back button from being enabled and yes that would block backspace as well. Combine both solutions and you'll have a tab with both back and forward button disabled for the whole application. I don't think there's any document specifically about this solution, but it's not exactly complicated, you seem to already have it actually. Can you precise your question?
