Delete apple id
i do have 2 apple account. just because of hacking the privious account i faced so many pbm with that so that i make a new account and i want to delete my privious account.
If anyone is looking for a way to delete an unintentionally created apple id due to the icloud confusion, I have a solution. Apple id #1 has all your account info and itunes/app store purchases, and apple id #2 is your primary email address. You'll need a few dummy email addresses (I'm not even sure if they need to be functional, but if you want you can create a couple free accounts at gmail or yahoo or something).
1) Sign into your original apple id and change your primary email to dummy email #1.
2) Sign into the second account, change your apple id from your primary email to dummy email #2.
3) Now you can sign back into apple id #1 and change your primary email back to your desired primary email.
4) Finally, an alert box should be visible (might need to refresh the page) which asks you to change your apple id to your primary email. Click on that, and you're good to go!
This leaves you with a random account tied to dummy email #2, but it shouldn't have any account info so you can just forget about it.

I opened the file and highlighted all the folders and pressed delete, most of them have disapeared into my recycle bin but the folder still holds AppleMobileService, AppleMobileDeviceService_main.dll and MobileDevice.dll.
Message when I right click the first file is AppleMobileService I am told this action can't be completed because file is open in Apple Mobile Device. Close and Try again.
When I click the next file AppleMobileDeviceService_main dll it says It comes up with This action cannot be completed and File description Apple Mobile Device Service. Company Apple Inc. File Version 17.323.0.9 Date Created 7/9/2013. Try again...... and finally MobileDevice.dll come up with same message but file version 710.0.0.4 Date Created 7/9/2013 Size 902KB Both say Try Again but the same thing just recurred.
I have left my lap top on hoping that I a swift reply.
I am certainly no computer wizard and simply trying to follow the instructions to get rid of the box which keep coming up everytime I switch the lap top on saying APS Daemon.exe-System Error. The program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. I had looked at the internet and there appears to be warnings not to click on the button.
I have had an apdate from Apple for the I Tunes but it wouldn't update. I thought that may have sorted it so whilst I had a few hours I thought I would go through the process that is advised on Apple's website.
I hope I have not ruined my computer. I haven't even tried deleting Bonjour or Apple Application Support (I Tunes 9 or later) has these are supposed to come after the step I am on.

You cannot delete Apple ID. You can change the password so the Apple ID without the correct password will be useless for others.
If you still have the old iPhone:
Wipe iPhone/iPad/iPod touch clean
There are a few steps to do:
Switch off iMessage in Settings > Messages
Switch off FaceTime in Settings > FaceTime (iPod touch 4th Generation or later, iPhone 4 or later and iPad 2 or later)
Delete iCloud in Settings > iCloud > Delete Account
Finally Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.
If device is registered: Un-register your device: https://supportprofile.apple.com
Now you can sell/give.

I recently changed my Apple ID to a new email address. My old one still is in my phone, and cannot be permanently deleted as it says that Find my iPhone is still on. I can't turn it off because I do not have the password to my old "deleted" Apple ID. If you can help, please do! Thank you very much!

From the Mac Mail Menu Bar, cick Mailbox/Rebuild. This can take several minutes to run. Hopefully that will take care of the glitch.
If not, Quit Mail then go here ~/Library/Preferences and move this file to the Desktop.
com.apple.mail.plist
Launch Mail and see if the problem persists. If it doesn't then that .plist file is corrupted. Move it to the Trash. The next time you launch the Mac Mail application, your Mac OS will create a new .plist file for you.

Ever since I installed Mountain Lion from Snow Leopard, I cannot retrieve my deleted Apple mail messages from Time Machine. I could do it in the past using Snow Leopard. The effective date for the the non-retrival of deleted messages is the date I installed Mountain Lion from Snow Leopard. Any thoughts?

Mountain Lion appears to have given it an icon very much like an Archive box and put the "on My Mac" folder within that "Box" on both the back ups and the new Mail program - in fact it did it 6 times, which was the origional problem.

I could restore inbox messages although they came in as a new mail box called Time Machine rather than into their origional mailboxes (there are 7 different addresses)
Yes, that's how Time Machine restores Mail messages, so it doesn't erase the current contents of an existing mailbox. You can then move them into the desired location. -

Uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes will not delete any of your iTunes content, including playlists.
