Delete apps when I push and hold app icon an x does not appear to delete
When I hold down the icon for the app to delete, it wiggles but a x does not appear so I can delete it.
If the Icons are for Apps included in the iOS, they can not be deleted. Which Apps are you attempting to delete?

I'm new to this and I think I typed a long heading!
Anyway the issue is I have iTunes and just updated it to the latest. I also have various Apple devices however my iPhone won't sync with iTunes. When I connect it using the USB cable it does not appear in the top right corner as does other devices. The cable is fine as it charges and also my PC sees the device. However it does not appear in iTunes so I can't sync music to it.
I've searched the web but all asume iTunes can see the device.

The problem is that you just don't selected the music that you want to import.
You can do this by opening iTunes, search your ipod in the superior bar, select it, then will appear a screen showing the information of your ipod, you can check how many songs are in your ipod, if there says nothing so theres the problem. In the superior bar, select Music, then click on the box "Sync Music", now select the songs you want right down. And press "Sync" That should solve the problem.

Within Contacts, tap Groups at top left. Make sure all contact groups are checked to show, then tap "Done" at top right.

Try one of your other USB ports. Be sure to insert it with the plated fingers pointing upwards.

Can you try a different charger/USB lead? Also check the connector on the bottom of the iPhone for pocket fluff

when trying to backup and sync my ipad and iphone to itunes it does not appear in the upper right hand corner under devices for me to click on
In that same window - the one where you see your backups - click on the box at the bottom that say -Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads form syncing automatically. Then click OK and quit iTunes.
Connect your iPad to the computer and launch iTunes. Right click on the iPad name on the left side under the devices heading and select - Restore from backup. A window will pop up from which you can select any of the backups that you have for the iPad. Select the backup that you want to restore from and then go agreed and restore the iPad. Sync with iTunes when you are done.
Remember that when you restore from a backup - you restore everything in that backup to the iPad. You cannot selectively restore content. It is all or none. -
I have Photostream set up on my iPhone and on my macbook. When I initially set it up it worked downloaded the images in Photostream to iPhoto. Now, when I take a picture it does not appear in Photostream on my macbook. I did not change any settings. Any suggestions?
If your phone is not jailbroken, then the odds of you having a virus on the iPhone are infinitesimally low.

Accessing the CMYK profile is the first difficult experience I've encountered with this arrangement. I have never needed the CMYK profile until recently, and that need has now past. However, it remains a mystery to me as to why it does not appear with all the others on the menu of export choices in Aperture 2, or on the menu of profile assignment choices in the Preview application (where again all the other profiles are listed as choices). I'm beginning to think my current set up will permit me to view an image that was created in CMYK space, but does not easily assign, or convert to that space. I don't face these restrictions with all the others, so it remains a curious circumstance for me. I anticipate upgrading my computer and software in the near future which might alleviate this issue altogether. Again, many thanks for your attention to this matter. The reach of this community is astounding. -
