Delete authority from SAP_ALL profile

Hi All,
In our application development we created a couple of authorization objects and profiles. Accidentally we add the authority to the SAP_ALL profile. How can we remove them?
Thanks, Jerome

Thanks a lot, Chris.

  • Restricting SCC4 Tcode, from the Role that was extracted from SAP_ALL profile

    Hi,
Recently we have created a role extracting from SAP_ALL profile. We have deactivated many Basis, and other Critical Tcodes for our Dev & QTY systems by identifying the authorization objects.
But- for SCC4 we want to know if there is any other way to restrict the access.
Since we created the role by extracting the profiles from SAP_ALL. S_TCODE has * value, and S_TABU_CLI: has "X" value.
    - problem is we cant deactivate or limit the usage of S_TABU_CLI:X as we have many ZTcodes for direct maintenance, which needs this AO.
    - At the same time, we are trying hard to restrict SCC4.
So, please suggest if there is any other alternative way to restrict Tcode SCC4, by not being able to run using the New Role.
    Regds,
    Satish.

First of, let me say that I fully agree with Sunil Bujade. The building block approach is the way to go when designing roles.
But if we're being practical, you could use authorization groups for tables (T-code SE54) and assign a custom auth. group to table T000. Then use this group to authorize (or actually not authorize) with object S_TABU_DIS.
Again, this is just a practical tip. The whole "create a role from SAP_ALL" thing is a totally different subject altogether.
    Good luck!
    Dimitri.

  • How to delete Client of SAP_ALL  profile

I have make one client 800 in sap with SAP_ALL profile . now I want to delete this client because my harddisk space is going to Full. How I will delete Client 800 . So that my Harddisk should be free space. Please tell me step by step
    Thanks & Regards
    Jagdish Kumar

Proper way to delete a SAP client
    Here goes:
    1. log into the client to delete
    2. go into SCC5 and delete client
    3. log into another client and delete entry with SCC4
    4. reorg database to recover database space.
Actually, if you check "on" the little "Delete Entry from T000" checkbox, you can skip step 3.
One other way of deleting a client which could give significant performance gain and save time is at OS level using - R3trans
To delete a client 200, you have to create a command file "del200" with following entries
    Clientremove
    Client = 200
    Select *
Place the command file in /usr/sap/trans/bin
    $ cd /usr/sap/trans/bin
    $ R3trans –w <log file name> -u 1 <command file name >
    e.g $ R3trans -w del200.log -u 1 del200
    To check the progress...
    $ tail -f del200
Reorg the database post client delete

  • How to remove SPRO from SAP_ALL profile

    Hi Friends,
Since my client needs access to SAP but we dont want to give them SPRO Tcode authorization.
So i would like to have your advice on that so as wht to be done and how can we create a profile without SPRO Tcode.

    > I think its not that difficult, although i dont know this. but i have heard people saying that they have made SAP_ALL profile without SPRO...
It is easy to copy SAP_ALL and create a role without SPRO
This will not stop people from accessing the functions behind SPRO for the reasons posted before.
Lots of people claim they create a SAP_ALL without SPRO, I will bet £1000 (I know it's worth many euro's at the moment) that 90%+ of those roles which people think have SPRO removed will not stop people accessing config.
    Ask yourself this question....
If you build a house do you:
    1. Buy a giant piece of rock and cut holes in it
    2. Build it from components - bricks, windows, doors etc

  • Delete Parameter from Database profile

Hi forums, I have a doubt. I have SAP BW 7.0 on Windows with Oracle 10.2.0.2.
The session of GoLive recommend me the following:
    Parameter:
    shared_pool_reserved_size
    Description:
Part of Shared Pool for large statements
    Current Value:
    47799336
    Recommended value:
Delete this parameter name and value from database profile
I delete this parameter from SPFILE, I shutdown the DB and restart ok.
Then I see that this parameter isn't in my SPFILE, but I consult this parameter with SHOW command and it has a value.
    SQL> show parameter shared_pool_reserved_size
    NAME                                 TYPE        VALUE
    shared_pool_reserved_size            big integer 8178892
Why this parameter is active still in oracle?
    Is normal this action?
    Regards.
    CG

    Hello Gustavo,
    > Why this parameter is active still in oracle?
    > Is normal this action?
Yes, this is completely normal, because of most / every parameter has its default value. So if you don't specify the parameter in the pfile/spfile, you have the default value which is set or calculated by oracle.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14237/initparams196.htm#i1133799
Default value      5% of the value of SHARED_POOL_SIZE

  • I thought I deleted downloaded BlackBerry software, but it remained even after I did a system restore. I manually deleted it from the Apps folder, but it's still in System Profiler under Apps. How do I delete this from System Profiler?

Right now, it seems as if it is still showing in System Profiler, then the unnecessary BlackBerry software I downloaded from the internet is still using memory, right? How do I permanently delete it?

In addition to what Drew wrote, remember the Mac has a data fork and a resource fork.
Here is an old thread but a nice recap by Dr. Smoke
    ._Files
Note that the ._file files you note are the resource forks of Mac files you copied to the drive from your Mac, and these are only visible when you use the Flash drive on a PC. These are normal and indicate the Flash drive is already formatted for Windows.
When you copy or save a file from a Mac OS X system to a Windows shared volume or a Windows-formatted disk, the Mac creates two files: the data fork (xxx) and the resource fork (._xxx). This is called Apple Double Format and is normal. The resource fork contains additional data about the file that is exclusive to the Mac that cannot be saved otherwise on Windows-formatted disks. This is new with Mac OS X, as documented in Mac OS X: Apple Double Format Creates File Name With the Prefix '._'.
The resource fork files (._xxx) are necessary if you want to copy the file back to the Mac and retain the metadata. The resource forks of files are invisible when they are used on the Mac: the Mac OS Extended file system (aka HFS Plus or HFS+) uses forked files, with a file having both data and resource forks.
You can delete the resource forks on the Windows disk if and only if you don't care about losing the resource fork information should you copy them back to the Mac, such as comments, image preview icon, etc. Some Mac applications use the resource fork data, so deleting the resource fork can be problematic if you copy the file back to the Mac. Likewise moving the file while not also moving its associated resource fork when using the data on a PC can result in problems when using some files again on the Mac.
You can't prevent the resource forks from being created if you copy or save files from the Mac to the Windows share or Windows-formatted disk via Finder.

You can either sync the iPhone and iPad to a computer that has your music on it and make sure the U2 album is not on the computer. Or you can delete all of the music from both devices (settings > general > usage > manage storage > music. Then redownload your music from your purchase history on the iTunes store
Also the U2 album is attached to your apple id. To remove it, you will need to go here ---> https://itunes.com/soi-remove

  • BDC to PFCG (Delete Authority Objects from Roles.)

When we try to change an authority object it gives an error message saying that 'This authority object is used in roles XXX'.
To remove Authority Ojects from roles, transaction PFCG is used. But the problem is that BDC is almost impossible to PFCG.
Is there any way you can suggest us to change an authority object when it is assigned to a role or how we can BDC delete authority object from a role or a function/badi we can call to achieve this.
This is a very high level question.

    Hi
U should consider PFCG trx is enjoy trx so it's not suitable for BDC, what doesn't mean you can't do a BDC program for that trx but it won't be easy.
Anyway you can know the users assigned to certain profile reading table AGR_USERS. I believe PFCG shows them sorted alphabetical, so you can know the position where an user should be, after u should use PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN command to scroll the table control.

How do I delete credit card information from my profile? When I simply delete it, the system forces something to be in those fields. When I type random info in, it forces accurate info. I DON'T want to store credit card info.

To remove it from your account, tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account  - that should give you a payments link on your account's page from where you can change remove/change your payment details.

  • Approval work folw while Deleting the user from user profile

    Hi
    I have a requirement like
I configured AD as auto provisioned.
How to configure approval workflow, when administrator deleting the user from user profile (xellerate form).
FYI, Delete task assigned as undo task for the create user task
    Thanks

Create one approval workflow and create one Process Determination Rule like
    If
    Request Action == "Revoke"
    Attach this rule with RO.
    Hey sorry
I shared the information for Revoking user from target Application.
Hide Delete User button from JSP
You can create Dummy Resource with Approval workflow for Deleting User. And after getting approval you can use DeleteUser API to delete user from OIM.

  • After refomatting HDD, reinstalling Vista plus service packs, recovering files from Microsoft backup and installing new copy of Firefox 3.6, Firefox will not run. Have deleted all old M0zilla profile folders and reinstalled Firefox again to no avail.

After computer would not boot and could not be repaired, I reformatted the HDD, reinstalled Vista plus all service packs and updates, recovered files from Microsoft backup and installed new copy of Firefox 3.6. Firefox will not run.
I have deleted all old M0zilla profile folders and reinstalled Firefox again to no avail.
After intallation was completed, the automatic startup just placed a small box on the screen "Import wiz". This just sat there with no activity. After I closed this box, none of the Firefox start buttons would open the program -- just the blue rotating icon for about 2 seconds then nothing.

  • How disable SPRO from Sap_new and Sap_All profile

    Hello,
One of my training ID have SAP_NEW AND SAP_ALL. From the particular user how can I disable SPRO transaction.
    Please help
    Regards
    Kariyath

    Hello Kariyath,
My understanding is that you want the user to just not have access to SPRO though rest all is okie. You should try changing SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW as these are standard SAP. I would suggest that you remove SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW from user profile and instead assign him a role which will be same as SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW and then you can remove SPRO access from it. This would actually help you in monitoring authorizations in a better manner. Please use the following steps for it.
Create a new role in PFCG.
Don't assign any transactions in role menu. Go to Authorizations tab and open it in expert mode for profile generation.
Now go to edit->Insert Authorizations->Full authorizations.
This would give SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW to the role. next go to authorization object S_TCODE.
Here you will find the value as *. You need to change it. Make it:
    A* to SPRN*
    SPRP* to Z*.
Now remove SAP_ALL from the user and assign him this role.
But while the user won't be able to execute SPRO it doesnot mean that he won't be able to execute other transactions that are within SPRO for example OB52,SALE etc. If you requirement is just SPRO specific then this issue is solved but in case you need it for other ransactions then you need to define the values in s_tcode accordingly.
I hope this should be able to solve the issue. Please award points accordingly.
    Regards.
    Ruchit.
