Delete B2 Cluster Reports

Hi Experts,
It is recommended NOT TO* use RPUP2D00 report in Production Environment to delete B2 cluster results.
Is it true that we should not use this report at all in production?
If yes, what would be the solution in cases where it is required to be deleted in Prod environment?

The scenario is we are getting one error message "Quota can not be posted to ABKONTI" table. when I checked the cluster, there were quota alrerady available in B2, hence when we run time eval the system was not able to post/ replace already existing quota numbers. We have tested by simulating the same scenario in quality environment, deleted the old results from B2 and it works.
For example: employee "A" whose start date is lets say 15/01/2008. The time eval and quota was acrrued till 31/12/2008. By mistake user deleted the accrued quota from IT2006 and they are trying to re-run the time eval for the same period. Its creating the promlem. For the same issue in quality environment, we have deleted old results from B2 and re-run the RPTIME. It works. What should be the solution in Prod environment for the same issue.

I understand we can use an LSMW to do this for multiple report groups however apart from this is there any function provided by SAP for deleting multiple report groups

I also couldn't find anything handy. In my case the time in manually deleting would have taken less than creating an LSMW for such one-off situation so just delete the obsolete report groups manually

Hi Chris,
this is due to non-conformance with PowerShell best practices by the coder of the FailoverCluster-Module developer.
New-Cluster writes directly to the host and thus can't be suppressed this way.
You may have more luck handling this odd output by running this command within a job or runspace.

Is there a best practice for deleting a published report?

Is there a best practice for deleting a published report from C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5\FileStore on Crystal Reports Server or can I just delete the subfolders? Does it reference them elsewhere? I have a load of old reports I need to shed, but can't see how to do it.

Seems there is a lot of discussion about migrating and sharing "saved" interactive reports, but how do you delete them?

How do you mean?
Each user can delete a saved report by clicking the 'Delete Report' icon, which is always the first icon at the top of the report.
There is also a APEX_INSTANCE_ADMIN.REMOVE_SAVED_REPORTS procedure that will do the job for all the saved reports.

I would like to know the procedure to delete a crystal report.
I have deleted the contents of a report like fields, counts, boxes etc...Now it is a blank report.
Could some one please let me know how to delete this report.

So finally i am getting this optionupon right click on a report.

If you have saved a crystal report in sap. Go to PFCG and select the report and delete it.
OR
Try to delete it from file menu.

Under the tab of the report that you have saved, it should say something like Saved Report = "report name". Or it will have a collapsible report icon with a little plus sign next to it. If you open that it will say Saved Report =" report name" and then to the right of that will be an icon that will allow you to delete that saved report. The icon looks like the report icon with an "x" on it.

I deleted a cluster now all service nodes are unavailable.

I deleted a managed cluster through qadministrator. Any computer that was in that cluster no longer shows up in qadmin. The qmaster status window in the menu bar icon for any of the affected computers says that services are "(captured)"
Does anyone have any ideas.
I just tested this again with a computer I don't plan to use for this purpose. I created a managed cluster in qadmin. Dragged the services into the node. Deleted the cluster. Now services for that machine are "(captured)" and the computer is unusable for distributed processing.

You need to go to the Qmaster pref pane in the control panel on each node and stop services, then option click, giving you the RESET services button. Click this, then restart services.
The nodes will now appear in Qadmin.

Delete Travel Cluster records

Is there any standard report to delete all records in Travel Cluster, or delete by Personnel no?
What I mean is, if we go to PR05, we can select a trip and delete it. We want a report for mass deletion.
Also, we are not able to delete Posted to FI records. How to do that?

Let's assume your report query is something similar to
select empno,ename from emp
You do the following
In the Column Attributes for report set the column-link for the 'empno' column to redirect to a URL
Set the URL to be

Create a button named 'DELETE'. Set the button to submit the page and branch back to the same page. Set the button's condition to 'Never'
Create a page-item named 'P1_EMPNO' of type hidden
Create a 'On Submit' pl/sql page process that is conditional on the 'DELETE' button with the following code

How to identify what role was deleted in SUIM report ?

Dear all,
Whenever a role is deleted, in SUIM --> change document of a user, it only shows the profile name, based on the profile name we can't figure out what role was it.
Any solution for this ?

It is possible to see who and when the role is deleted...
Here are the steps for the same.
1. Start SUIM
2. Go to Change Document --> For Roles
3. Enter Role name (for example Z*), Enter Username (Changed by), Date, Time (From and To)
4. Select "Create and Delete Roles" in Change Documents.
5. Execute.
You will see the report who and when the Role is deleted.

We can not restore a deleting file, so it is necessary to do backup.

Delete buttons in report region & javascript

I managed to add a delete button on each line of my report region using 'Column link' with

problem is : i'd like to add a javascript:confirmDelete function
In a 'Normal' button you can add it via URL Target.

This seems to be the way to add javascript to the url-code

i have report, i have to delete row without page loading. i have wrote the application process(on demand). but i dont know how to write the javascript for htmldb items...
my req is when i click the delete button the checked row(using check box) should delete without page load. i use ajax to call the javascript to process the plsql code.

I will have to say your observation is incorrect. The whole purpose of doing the DML via Application Process using ajax technique is to avoid a page refresh, otherwise it would simply be a page level after submit process.
I have just tested and its working as expected, i.e
1. You select one or more records
2. Use the delete button to delete
3. Records get deleted from DB, you get a message
4. Only the report region get refreshed. (However this could delay for a few seconds if the dataset is larger and server is very busy)
If you are however using APEX 4.x you could use dynamic actions to get it done. My work environment is still on 3.x so my solution is using classic method.
If you are still having issue could you please let me know which browser you are using?
