Delete Beta Pages, Keynote, Numbers from iCloud

Just purchased a MacBook Pro 15. Had Apple Store do a complete data migration from my PB 17. That seems to have worked OK. How do I get rid of the iWork Beta from iCloud? I am unable to save Pages documents to iCloud. I'm thinking that the Beta version is having some effect on the 'real' Pages.

It's not possible. Your problem presumably lies elsewhere, best ask in the os x pages forum and provide details on error messages, etc.

You can't merge accounts or transfer iTunes purchases from one Apple ID to another: but there is no problem about using two IDs.
Use your iCloud ID for iCloud for syncing email, contacts, calendars, bookmarks, and PhotoStream.
Use your other Apple ID as before for iTunes, iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match.
There's no conflict about doing this, and you won't even notice as Keychain will log you in with the correct ID in each case. It's also better security not to have your iTunes login also your email address, given the number of complaints about hacked iTunes accounts.

Apple iWorks - Pages/Keynote/Numbers - can I open these in MS Office?

Look, there are a million threads on this already.
The facts are:
1) you can't delete individuals photos from Photostream. Simple as that.
2) if you want to delete all the photos, then switch PS off on all your devices (including iPhoto), go to iCloud.com, click on your name, go to advanced settings and reset PS. They will be gone from all your devices and iCloud.
3) switch PS back on in all the same devices.
Let's hope this is sorted out in the near future.

I managed to solve my problem without spending 4 hours going to Apple Store.
I don't know why, but Yosemite somehow decided to restrict permissions literally to itself.
1) you need to enable seeing hidden files - paste this in terminal "defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles YES"
2) find the folder "private" and select "get info"
3) give to user "wheel" (this is OS X internal or root "admin") permission to "read and write" this folder and all its contents. I also added user "admin" and gave permissions to "read and write" all the same as to "wheel", just in case.
4) repair permissions, restart your computer and reset PRAM
5) go to App Store and try to update your system.
6) if all worked fine, don't forget to paste in terminal "defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles NO" to hide all hidden files.
Enjoy updated system.

Deletion of Mobile / telephone numbers from customer master XD03

Hi Gurus,
I need to delete all the mobile numbers from various customers (more than 500) in customer master XD03.
I tried deleting the telephone number entries directly from ADR2 table, but it showing inconsistancy.
Can anyone guide me how can i mass delete the mobile / telephone numbers from XD03.

Use SE16N to get desired list of customer for your parameter - TEL_NUMBER with R3_USER = 2 or 3
You can modify the list downloaded & make necessary change.
Then use LSMW to upload change data to the system.
I don't think its neither recommendable idea or fair practice to use &sap_edit to make direct changes to Database.

Please Help! My Pages, Keynote & Numbers won't open

Updated Keynote (6.2.2) , Pages (5.2.2) & Numbers (3.2.2) August 25th
Updated to Mavericks 10.9.4 September 10th.
K, P & N would not open before or after system upgrade. When I open the app, it takes me to my Documents folder. I can't even download them again because they say installed. If I deleted them, can I re-add K, P & N for free? They came with my computer.

Thanks for the question. When you open Pages, Keynote or Numbers, an “Open” dialog appears. This dialog allows you to choose to open a document (defaults to showing your Documents folder) or open a file from iCloud. In the bottom left corner there is also a “New Document” button:

How can I print all my contacts including phone numbers from iCloud

I used to be able to print all of my contacts including phone numbers etc from iCloud. Since all the upgrades I can not do this. I used to be able to change the display by clicking on a ribbon at the top then clicking the gear to have it print. No ribbon any more and no way to change the display. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks again Ferd. I looked up equivalent of command key on Dell keybrd. It is Windows insignia, however that didn't work. I selected all with the pop up menu by right clicking, which accomplished the same thing, however when I tried to print, it would only print out a couple of names per page and no add'l info. I stopped the printer and tried manually highlighting and selecting all with the same printing result. I finally gave in and called Apple support. After explaining my problem, while I was on hold, I thought I would try the process using Google browser instead of I.E. Guess what, IT WORKED!! All that hassle because of Internet Explorer. I now can print (or print to .pdf file to save) any time. I do appreciate your input that would have worked with the interpretation of the command key had I not used IE. live and learn. :-)

Problems with Pages and Numbers using iCloud Drive on early 2008 MacPro, Yosemite

One of my computers, an early 2008 MacPro running Yosemite, will NOT save Pages or Numbers documents to iCloud Drive from within those applications. I see the little iCloud Drive error badge next to the file name in Finder after I try to save. However, on the SAME computer I can save Pages and Numbers documents to a local drive (e.g., to my Desktop) and then use the Finder to drag the documents to iCloud Drive successfully. Another computer, a MacBook Pro running Yosemite, has no problems using iCloud Drive to create, edit and then save Pages and Numbers documents stored on iCloud Drive. I have tried "turning off" iCloud Drive for Pages and Numbers in System Preferences on the Mac Pro and then turning it back on to no effect. I have also logged out of iCloud Drive on all of my devices (which include two iOS devices) and then logging back in to ensure that I'm using the same login id on all devices, again with no apparent change.
Any suggestions for my next steps in attempting to solve this issue? Is there any way to get more information about precisely what type of error is occurring? Hovering over the badge only shows "Error".

Found a solution, but it is odd:
On the 2008 Mac Pro, I UNCHECK the boxes beside Pages and Numbers in System Preferences > iCloud > iCloud Drive > Options. Now Pages and Numbers will properly save edited documents to the appropriate folders on iCloud Drive.
Go figure ...

ICloud & Numbers, wanting to remove numbers from iCloud..

Apparently, if you have iCloud set up on your mac (in my case mac mini), Numbers automatically saves the spreadsheets by default to iCloud. I do not want all of my spreadsheets in iCloud. I do not want ANY of them in iCloud now, especially as it simply uses up too much space. I went to the Numbers Help for Mac, in the area of Move a spreadsheet to or from iCloud. This is what I found, "
Choose File > Move To (from the File menu at the top of your computer screen), choose a new location from the Where pop-up menu, then click Move.
When I did this, I did not receive a new choice. Apparently it is something simple that I am missing. Do I make a new file to move these to and hope the computer keeps it "in" and not sending it to the icloud...?? any help will be appreciated! TY in advance...

To download a Numbers document to your computer, go to icloud.com from your Mac, sign into your account, open Numbers beta, select a documents and choose Download Document from the Action (gear) menu. It will download to your default downloads location on your Mac.
To disable Numbers syncing with iCloud, go to System Preferences>iCloud, click Options... next to Documents & Data, then uncheck Numbers.
To disable it on an iOS device (if you're using the iOS version), go to Settings>Numbers and turn Use iCloud to Off. You can then open Numbers and you will get an option to keep the documents on your device if you want to.

I'm using iWork every day and i have to use Google Drive. I would like to convert automatically my .pages, .keynote, and .numbers files to Google documents. Is it possible with Automator or AppleScript?

If you download an app called ifiles by imagam.com (http://www.ifilesapp.com/) you can have access to google docs and mobile me/dropbox. So from pages for example... Export to MobileMe, go into ifiles, download from MobileMe, then upload to google docs. I have also heard of a way to replace MobileMe with dropbox... You'll have to google for that. I know that it's kind of a backwards way of doing it... But it seems to work.

Can't delete a song somehow downloaded from iCloud OS 8.1.2

I cannot get rid of a song on my iPhone. Previously, I had Show All Music enabled, so several of the songs in my iPhone were in iCloud but with a little download icon (cloud). Once this song played, however, it stayed, which is odd, I guess. Never saw that problem before. Anyway, now that the song is there, and I turned off Show All Music, I can't get rid of it. it's the only one. I used to be able to delete songs right on my phone, well at least for about a minute between iOS upgrades. But that privilege seems to be gone, unfortunately, What do I do? Please don't recommend something drastic. Thanks.

If you'd like to delete a song that you downloaded from your previous iTunes purchases, then please follow the directions outlined below.
Music
Open the section below for the device you are using.
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Tap the Music app.
Tap the Songs category.
Swipe left over the song you want to delete.
Tap Delete.

I have the disk for the 09' iWork pages keynote and numbers. But is the a new updated disk with 11' or 12'?

Those available via Mac App Store are, as you probably know, single product downloads ... viz Pages, Keynote and numbers.
