Delete bulk emails

Is there anyway I can delete emails in bulk

There are two ways I could think of to do that:
1.  Delete your email account from the iPhone.  Do that in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > [your account]
2.  Restore your iPhone.  Plug it in to iTunes, let it sync, then choose "Restore" from the summary tab on the right.
I'm quite certain those are the only two ways to accomplish what you're trying to do.

  • How to delete Bulk Email Folder in ios8

With the IOS8 upgrade I'm seeing a Bulk email folder, which downloads ALL of my spam from my AT&T server if I mistakenly tap it. Thenit takes me an hour or so to manually remove each of the emails one by one. What a PAIN!  Then I'm seeing an extra Trash and Sent Folder and a Y! Conversations folder. None of which I want or need.  How to remove them!  What a pain!  Help!

You cannot remove them.  Those folders are provided by the E-mail provider and cannot be removed.

  • Delete bulk email from many mailboxes

    Hi,
In her infinite wisdom, one of our employees recently sent out a 20MB email to roughly 300 employees in our organisation. I need to delete all instances of this email as it has added nearly 6GB to our mail store.
Using Exchange Control Panel, I have managed to run a search on the subject line of the email in question, which confirmed there are 298 instances of this email, taking up 5.8GB of space.
I would now like to construct a query in EMS to delete these emails, but I'm not very familiar with PowerShell/EMS. I've done some googling and thought the following may work (note no -ResultSize unlimited switch, as we only have about 500 mailboxes):
    Get-Mailbox | Search-Mailbox -SearchQuery 'Subject:"Insert subject here"' -DeleteContent
However, when running this, I get the following error:
Sending data to a remote command failed with the following error message: The WinRM client sent a request to the remote
WS-Management service and got a response saying the request was too large. For more information, see the about_Remote_

I wondered if this query is using too many resources? As our mail store is split into 4 databases, would it help if I ran the query against each database in turn, or is there a better way to approach this?
Thanks in advance for any help.
    Danny

    Hi,
If you want to delete these messages database by database, try the following command:
Get-mailbox –database “DBname” | search-mailbox -SearchQuery 'Subject:"Insert subject here"' –DeleteContent
    Best Regards.

  • How can I delete bulk emails from my iPhone?

I have an iMac, an iPhone and iPad, all running latest software.  My Mail accounts are with Gmail and Hotmail.  My problem is that I have a huge number of emails on my devices which I cannot delete.  The methods I have read about don't seem to work, everything reappears.  Is this because of synching acroos the devices?  How can I keep my iMac as the main repository for Mail, and from time to time delete all the copies on my devices knowing they wil be safe on my iMac?  I'd really appreciate guidance on this.  Many thanks!

  • Bulk email deletion

No but there is a setting by account to automatically remove messages marked for deletion and available in the account's Trash mailbox after one day.

How do I delete excess email messages from my iPhone.  There are 300 messages listed, and every time I delete some, more are added from old messages.  How do I limit the number of messages that can appear on my phone?  How can I delete messages in bulk,

    You can't.
All photos transferred from your computer are stored in the Photo Library. The photos in the album or albums below are not duplicates - they include a pointer to the original photos stored in the Photo Library. This way you can view the photos in a particular album only by selecting the album, or you can view all photos available in all albums by selecting Photo Library.
Just as with an iTunes playlist. A song cannot be in an iTunes playlist unless the song is in the main iTunes library. Placing a song in a playlist does not duplicate the song. Remove the main iTunes library or the songs from the main iTunes library that are in a playlist and the songs will no longer be in the playlist either. This way you can listen to the songs in the playlist only by selecting the playlist, or all songs in your entire iTunes library by selecting Music under Library in the iTunes source list.
The same with iPhoto on a Mac. A photo cannot be in an in iPhoto Event or Album unless the photo is in the main iPhoto library. Placing a photo in an Event or Album does not duplicate the photo. This way you can view the photos in an iPhoto Event or Album only by selecting the Event or Album, or all photos in all Events or Albums.

  • .PPTX attachment won't send in Bulk Email in CRM 2011

    Hi,
When i attach a 2mb .pptx Powerpoint Slide attachment my bulk email fails. I have checked the email tab in System Settings and it's set to 5mb. Any ideas what might be preventing the emails from sending?
    Thanks

Well, I tried that and all connections were successful.
However, I just tried something else.  I had an online Exchange account that I have been using, but recently deactivated the account, and moved the mail servers to my own domain.  I had left the Exchange server account active to give the system and accounts time to migrate and sync, etc.  On a whim, after your above email, I deleted the inactive Exchange account and that seems to have fixed it.  I don't know why, though, because all email accounts were set to use mobile SMPT2GO for all outgoing mail, and that account was turned off on the server side.
For anyone else having this problem, I also tried the various fixes in the thread here.  There are some good ideas, though they didn't work for me.

  • Deleting batch emails one at a time from your inbox

Unfortunately I receive between 200 to 400 emails a day.  i recently upgraded to ISO 7 in hopes they added a way to bulk delete emails (the same option that is available for your trash emails). Unfortunately, you still need to delete them one at a time.  I'm not sure if that is a safety feature so you don't accidentally delete all your emails, but I for one would love to have the option.
I have a pop 3 account, if anyone knows a different way I could achieve this, I would be grateful if you could advise me how to accomplish this.  Thank you in advance for your help.

    Two suggestions:
    1.  From the screen that shows your inbox, click "Edit" at the upper right and then check all the emails in the screen.  That might be about six emails.  It might take three seconds or so to perform that action.  Then either click "trash" in the lower right or scroll up and check off some more.  This is a speedy way to delete those emails.
    2.  Use your email provider's junk mail filter to filter out those emails that you wish to ignore.

  • Deleting bulk mail

I would like to know how to delete bulk mail without opening at least one of them because of spam.
Before Mavericks, I was double clicking on the horizontal divider bar in mail, it would go to the bottom, and then I would "select all" and delete.    I can still do it that way but have to manually drag the bar downward.
I was just wondering if there is another way to do this.
    Thanks.

From what I see you can't delete the bulk folder.
However if you sign in to your web mail and look at settings you can select that the spam mail not be sent.
I haven't checked another thing out but it may work.
When I signed up my emails with a new imac, I noted that it created an imap program rather than a pop3.
Maybe deleting your accounts and then setting them up as a pop3 and smtp, you might avoid these bulk folders.

Not sure about yahoo, but for gmail, I done the following:
Set up using Exchange on iPhone, it'll keep prompting for password.  On PC use captcha option, log in to gmail account from PC after completingg captcha option, enter password on iPhone.
See how that goes for gmail, let us know.
Hopefully someone will have fix for yahoo.

  • IPhone deletes MobileMe email on its own

I first noticed the problem last week. I open up Mail on my iPhone, it checks Mobile Me for new messages, they start to download and I saw a number of emails fleetingly appear before my eyes and immediately thereafter vanish without a trace. Today it had to be the most important email I was waiting for didn't it? And it was. I saw it briefly, again for all of a second, and then it was gone forever.
No trace of the emails to be found in Trash or Junk. Gone.
I found another, closed thread relating to Yahoo Mail and people who encountered this error. But this was Apple's Mobile Me service. I've even checked my mail via me.com, no luck. It's like the message never existed but I know it did.
Ideas? Help? And why did it bypass the trash for goodness' sake? If it had dumped it there because of some bug I could have rescued it. But to wipe it totally? Man, that's one nasty bug.

No. I was accessing my me.com email nowhere else at the times this happened, as it has happened again since my original post above. I have switched off email on my iPhone until this is resolved, I can't afford to have emails going like that.
And bear in mind, whether you access elsewhere or not is somewhat irrelevant when talking about MobileMe accounts as they are supposed to keep in sync, meaning if I download an email to my MB Pro it will appear in my inbox on iPhone or iMac as well. Unless of course you move or delete the email, which I didn't.
Before switching off email on my iPhone as an emergency response I tried changing the settings to confirm deletions before going ahead. That was completely ignored by the iPhone, which went ahead and deleted another email all on its own thereafter.
I have never had the problems with emails other have had before now. Could an installed third-party app impact on the Mail app in any way at all? I have installed a few apps along the way but was thinking, could something installed in the past fortnight, say, be a cause?

If you are using Apple's Mail app 6.5 is the latest version irrespective of what a previous poster says. It does sound though that you are using a gmail account online via a web browser. Please confirm and fill in missing information.
