Delete button is getting grayed out very often in SMS

Delete button is getting grayed out very often in SMS section.. Screen also flicker at times...

Correct, it is not grayed out. A table uses a combination of renderers to display the data in each cell of the table. So there is no easy way to do this. You would need to provide custom renderers for each column of the table. You could easily "gray out" text cells, but what if a cell contains an image.
If all your cells are text based then you might be able to get away with overriding the prepareRenderer(...) method and simply change the foreground to a "gray" color. This posting should get you started:

I am no longer able to upload photos from iphoto to Facebook. The "publish" button is now "grayed out."  Any suggestions?

The window doesn't automatically pop up now. When you plug the card reader in, you should see a 4th option on the lower bar of the photos app. I think it says camera. Tap on that then you can see and inport your photos.
If you are still having issues, try giving your iPad a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and try again. It won't hurt any data but can clear gliches.

  • "Delete Selection"i is grayed out

In edit view, the "delete selection" icon n the toolbar is grayed out. I've made a selection in the waveform i want to delete, but Audition won't let me. Can anybody help me figure out why? Thank you.

This caught me out too this morning, but it may be just that you have the pause button selected on the track which stops delete from working.

  • Import/Export Button in designer grayed out

Import/Export button in designer is grayed out for one user. it is not his security setting, since he doesn't have this issue using other machines.
I am wondering what is wrong on his machine? Could any body help us.
    Thanks

    Hi,
It seems that there might be some problem with the specific machine.
In order to be sure, just login as an administrator onto the machine, and check to be sure, whether it is an issue with rights.
However, if it is not the issue with the rights, then we can just reinstall Designer and check whether the issue has been resolved or not.
To do this, just go into your control panel and in the Add & Remove programs, click BusinessObjects and click on change, and then select Modify, expand the client components ,and select Desktop Intelligence : "Entire Feature will be unavailable" and continue with the uninstallation.
The next time around, perform the same steps, and then select DeskI and "Entire Feature will be installed on local hard drive" , and finish the installation.
    This would reinstall the designer.

  • Why are the songs I've deleted off my Ipod grayed out?

I've deleted the songs manually off my ipod, as there is an option to do so. However, when I click into my songs on the Ipod, there are the songs that I had already deleted and are grayed out. They won't play-because I've deleted them. I've gone as far as deleting them off my Itunes and computer all together. The grayed out songs are still there and will not go away! Has anyone else had this problem and been able to fix it?

Depending upon what country that you are in you might be able to re-download them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.

Since i have installed IOS 5 it's just impossible to write a message on a phpbb site because of the bug of safari that keeps logging me out.
I tried to delete all cookies and history, i shutted down the ipad but it's still there...
I found a very similar problem on the forum about a cookie bug on safari (mac os version) but it's apparently not solved...
I had the same problem on the precedent version but it was less often. It's not casual anymore, i just can't continue like this.
I think it's a major bug on a device which like ipad is designed for friendly navigation on the internet. Using phpbb may be 40 % of my activities on it.
I'll just abandon the browser if i can't find a fix or a solution.
    Any ideas ?

Try going to Settings > Safari, and look at the Accept Cookies box.  Tap on it and make sure it is either set to "From Visited" or "Always".  There seems to be a problem during the iOS upgrade process that causes this setting to get changed to not accept cookies, which will mean almost all sites where you have to log in will not work, or will work badly.

  • Can't delete Appleworks or get it out of my trash

I want to delete appleworks because I never use it. I deleted it. It went into my trash. when I tried to empty the trash I got a message that said appleworks couldn't be deleted because it was in use by the system.
When I tried to drag it out of the trash, one copy stayed in the trash, the other is back on the hard drive.
How can I get rid of Appleworks permanently from my computer and the trash?
    Thank you.

Deleting files (or folders) is a function of the
operating system, and not of AppleWorks.
I know that deleting files and folders is a function of the operating system. So I dragged Appleworks into the trash because I no longer want it on my computer. Then when I tried to empty the trash, I got a message saying that Appleworks couldn't be deleted because it was still in use by the operating system.
So I dragged it out of the trash and back to my applications folder. Now there is a copy of Appleworks in the trash and in the applications folder and it seems I can't get rid of it.
In help, under deleting files and folders it says to just drag the file or folder into the trash. That is what I did. I hope this clears up my question.

  • Solution Landscape: why Request Check-out button could get greyed out ?

    Hi,
We are on SolMan 7.0, SP15, including Ent. Edition add on.
In Solution Landscape maintenance, the Business Processes added to the solution (either directly or those borrowed from a Project) cannot be checked out to a maintenance project becasue the Request button is greyed out.
A simplistic SU53 check did not come up with any authorisation problems.
I am not able to switch on trace and take that route to detect now.
Can you please suggest as to what could be the possible reasons for this to be greyed out; also, have you used the 'Adjust to Original' button to bring latest changes in Project to Solution Landscape ?
    Best regards,
    Srini

    Hi Rutger,
    Thanks for your kind reply.
There is one problem - I am not able to see in my SolMan the 'tickbox' you have mentioned about.
The only sub-sections I see in the Tab there are:
    (1) Monitoring
    (2) Knowledge Warehouse Information
    (3) Copy Criteria for Document
    (4) Session Languages
    (5) Assigned Maintenace Project
If it's feasible for you, can you please let me have a look at your screenshot as to how the sections look like. I wonder if there is any component missing to be installed.
Best wishes and thanks for your time.
    Srini
    Hi Rutger,
Thanks for your pointer again. I got a screenshot from a different friend (on another SolMan instance). Came to know of where these check boxes should occur.
Later, I found them in my instance too - the browsing scroll bar was the culprit. One had to go to the very bottom, move the scroll to the right extreme and then move further down. Really a silly mistake.
But, without your help, I wouldn't have know that there were such check boxes at the first place
    Cheers,
    Srini

  • My iPod touch is stuck in the settings app. Neither the power or the front button will get me out.

After entering the Settings App on my iPod touch, I am able to navigate around settings, but pressing the button on the front does not return the iPod out of the app.  I also tried powering down by pressing and holding the power button, but there is no response.

    Try the remaining items of:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • Troubling connection with iTunes (I have to jiggle the cable), and my volume bar drops out very often.

Whenever I am syncing my iPhone 4 (with iOS 6.1.3) via cable with iTunes, I have to jiggle the cable to get it to connect with iTunes. Also, whenever I'm listening to any kind of sound, sometimes the sound just drops out and the volume bar disappears.
I asked an Apple tech in the store, and he told me to restore the phone and set up as new phone. I have done this with no success. Any suggestions
