Delete button on dial pad

I have tried various searches for this and came a cropper - hence the question below.
I perform the steps in the sequence below
1. I dial my bank's number (say 2222 3333)
2. I get an automated voice prompt telling me to enter my bank account number - let's say this is 23455432
3. I click the keypad and get the familiar numbers screen
4. I tap 23454532 - notice I made a mistake by interchanging the 4 and 5 (the 5th and 6th digits)
5. There's now no way for me to delete/edit the number because the delete button has disappeared - once the call is connected note only the numbers show and the delete button does not
The question is - is there a way to edit this number or not?
This has been a source of agony and I'd like to know the answer.

Once you have dialed the telephone number and tap Call, the numbers (tones) are sent as soon as you press a number on the key pad, so there is no way to retract a number that was already sent. The only way you could get around this that I can think of would in your case pose a grave security risk, but here goes. Create a contact entry for your bank when you enter the phone number, put a pause then enter the account number. Again, I must warn you that in your case this would be a serious security issue.

BASICS like keyboard entry error correction should be available (in an intuitive way). Backspace doesn't erase last entry and you cannot even delete ALL the entry. THE use of the apple support is a mess also.
I want to be able to use my MAC fully and easily like I used to with Snow Leopard.

The only people who can possibly assist you with this is Apple Customer Relations, call your local Apple contact number and ask for Customer Relations then explain your situation clearly and politely (be firm but don't rant).
You might want to investiage what the local laws are regarding defective goods and 'fit for use' definitions on warranties etc. Consumer Protection can be a useful tool to use or bargain with if needed ...

Dial pad and mute button

I just updated my phone and now the dial pad has sound! Other than using the mute button, is there any other way to dial able to dial pad sound?

I'm having the same problem...My research has shown that Apple is aware of the proximity sensor issues in the Iphone 4. It looks like this problem has been going on for over a year...I would have thought they would have fixed the new phones produced. I am going to call Apple tomorrow to find a solution...Let me know if find a solution and I will do the same.

Deleting a Speed Dial Button

How do I delete a Speed Dial key? Somehow I accidently assigned a speed dial letter to "lock phone" and need to get this deleted.

You can hit your green phone button to go into your call log screen. After that screen comes up, hit the menu button, and choose View Speed Dial List. See if you can delete it from that screen

Paste phone n° out of email in work environment to the phone dialing pad is not possible

Hello,
I am trying to paste a phone number out of an email in my work environment to the dialing pad of the phone.
When I do that, I receive the error message that I am not allowed to paste work content into a personal application, although I am in the work environment and I have also opened the phone in the work environment.
When the email recognized the phone number "automatically," I am able to call that number.
I am using a Z30 with the software release 10.2.1.2102.

Hmmm go back and sign out and turn off iMessage then after that reset all settings, its not going to delete anything off the phone. After reset all settings. Go back turn imessages on and sign back in.

How to get dial pad when on a call?

How do you bring up the dial pad when on a call? This is for responding to automated instructions ("Press 1 for ...", "Enter you account number..." etc.).

In the lower left corner, next to the call button, there's an icon that's supposed to look like a keypad. Press that during your call.

Dial pad

Hello. My BB phone doesn't have a dial pad. Is this true for all other BB phones? Whenever I typed numbers on the standby screen and instead of calling that set of numbers, I ended up searching that number on my phone. I mean, is there any way to access dial pad for easy calling? It is really contrasting to all other phone makes.

You should have actually been prompted for that information when you registered...but, in the field for your model, you put "BB Socials"...that's not a valid model of BB...

Dial pad bug, when dial 08 digit

When I dial digit 08 from dial pad, iphone got hung, is this bug in iOS 7.0.3 ?

Not seen this and I have to use the 8 in every call I make. Try a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone reboots, try it.

When being connected to a bank (fixed line) support number through Skype I have to choose an option in their systems menu through the dial pad to be connected to the right department. However their system is not recognizing numbers picked from the dial pad and asks again after which the call is disconnected.
Please advise?

You can uninstall current version of Skype from the control Panel and you can install Special Version.
http://www.skype.com/go/getskype-sse
and disable automatic updating of Skype.
In Skype, Tools >> Options >> Advanced >> Automatic updates >> Click on Turn off automatic updates >> Save Changes.

it works fine for HoverMenu Extender, and for the delete button as well. When I click on Delete Button It finds CommandArgument value But as I click on Edit Button It does not find CommandArguement value. Kindly help me to fix this problem

Do you mean it's firing when you click Edit?. I've replicated your code as below and it worked, try to remove the OnRowCommand run a build and then add the it again:

Call using Skype Dial pad is not sending outgoing ...

We are using Desktop API’s to get the events from Skype to our application. When we are doing an outgoing call using Skype dial pad, we are not getting an outgoing call event from Skype in our application.
But when we do call from skype contact list we are able to get outgoing call event and process it.
Is there known issue with dialing with Dial pad does not send outgoing call event?

Fixed my own problem, IT was my Host file under Windows>System32>drivers>ectThe file was made in such a way that I did not relize I chound't edit it with Notepad without permissions. Also I don't remember adding anything to it, oh well. Long story short, if any of you internet searches want my advice on what to do. Copy the entries in your host file maded by programs "Example: Uncheacky and SpyBot (It will be listed which ones are made by who)." Copy wanted entries to a regular text file on your desktop. Delete your real host file in the director above, deal with readding your wanted entries latter and enjoy talking to your friends again.

Treo 680 Dial Pad not working after desktop update

I was a Zire 72 user.
I bought a Treo 690. As manual said, I installed Palm Desktop over my old Zire PD.
Everythings works fine but two problems.
1- The dial pad does not show the numbers for dial anymore.
When I press the dial pad, nothing happens. If I use the 5 way navigator, I can switch between all the other 4 tabs, but it acts like the dial pad tab does not exist.
2- Contacts were not updated ion my phone. I guess it's because I'm synchronizing with outlook 2007. Should I install 2007 conduit updater?
I'm thinking it would be better to uninstall PDesktop, reset my palm and start installing each application one by one.

Silence dial pad on BB Classic

Hello,
I've recently bought the BB Classic. Great phone...only one problem: can someone please teach me how to stop the dial pad from making that annoing dialing sound when entering a new number?
PS: Please don't advice me to put the phone on silent...that is not an option for me.

There is another possibility to dialling silently: you can enter a number directly from the "calls" view, either with the "alt" button pressed for typing correct numbers or even without this button, the device then searches for the typed "string" within contacts as well as offering its numerical meaning to be called as a number.
