How it will delete.
Thank you
AshokDear Anil,
The transaction to delete chart of accounts is OBY8. Please read Note 6075 Delete chart of accounts (TA OBY8) which is more useful.
You can find it in the menu under:
General Ledger Accounting (new) > Preparations for Productive Start >
New Installation > Delete Test Data > Delete Master Data >
Delete Chart of Accounts.
Please assign points if it useful.

Unable to change Data label position in the Chart using Position from Properties
Hi All,
I am trying add the Data label to the chart and the users want them to appear on the top of the stacked bars. By default when I enabled the data labels it showed up in the middle. When I tried to change the position by doing
View --> Properties --> Position --> Top/Bottom/any of other 8 options -- it does move a bit
I even tried deleting chart and recreating it.
What am I missing? Thanks in advance.Hi Ranjith_SQL,
According to your description that you have add the Data label on your stacked column chart which by default display in the middle of the chart, you want them to appear on the top of the stacked column chart, right?
For a Stacked Column Chart, the data labels are always placed in the center of the Series bars. This is by design. I also test it on my new version of SSRS 2014 and find have the same result.
If you really need the data label to display on the top, I recommend you to change the chart type to column chart which by default have the Data labels display at the top of the column:
You can also submit an wish at
https://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/
If the suggestion mentioned by customers for many times, the product team may consider to add the feature in the next SQL Server version. Your feedback is valuable for us to improve our products and increase the level of service provided.
Thanks for your understanding.

How can I run graphic object on report. ( I got REP-1246 Chart not found)
Hi All,
I made a report that consists a chart object. When I run it on report builder, it works well. But When I call the report from client side, I got "Rep-1246 Char Document not found" . I tried to solve it , I couldn't solve the problem . If I delete chart object from report , then report works well on client side. I didn't use graphics builder to create graphs I used only report builder to do it. I read the threads about it , but I couldn't find the solution. All solutions are about path of graphic file. I don't understand it. Because I only have *.rdf *.rep file. There is no any graph file in my system. I can create it in graphic builder but I don't know how can I deploy the graph object into report layout and run ?
I need urgent help ..
Thanks in advice
SuleymanHi again , I used developer 2000. In order to show graphic object on report firstly
I created my graphic object on oracle graph builder.After that I save it like mygraph.OGD . Then I added graphic object on report builder by using graphic object on report builder. When you click the graphic object you will see CHART FILENAME part in part of CHART. In this field , you should add graphic file path that you created on graphic builder. I added mygraph.OGD into this filename part. I worked well.

Hello,
I have marked a G/L as deleted (chart of accounts and company code). Now I want to remove it physically (totally deletion of the G/L account ). How can I do it? The account is empty.
Thanks in advance,
Ricard.Dear Richard,
T.code FS00
Enter GL Code no which you want to delete.
There was last button for Delete.
Over there you will get check box for deletion flag of Chart of account & deletion flag in company code .
Tick both the check box.
Click on save button.
GL will be deleted.
If useful then revert back.

Vipin,
Find the config below
1.Activate the New General Ledger Accounting by a single click on the clock icon
2.You will reach to change view "activation of New GL A/cg" detail screen and tick the checkbox and save.
3. After activation of New General Ledger Accounting, you exit the IMG screen When you re-enter , you find that a new node is added Financial Accounting (New)
4.After activation of New General Ledger Accounting , a new sub node appears in the IMG structure.
This sub node is Define Segment
The menu path is:
SAP Customizing IMG ---> Enterprise Structure -
> Definition ---> Financial Accounting ---> Define Segment
In this IMG activity, you define your segments.
If you then define your profit centers, you can enter an associated segment in the master record of a profit center. The segment is then derived from the assigned profit center during posting.
5.Activation has created a new field in Profit Center Master Record : the SEGMENT
6.Leading and Non- Leading Ledgers
In General Ledger Accounting , you can use several Ledgers in parallel. This allows you to produce financial statements according to different accounting principles. A ledger uses several dimensions from the totals table it is based upon. When defining Ledgers , one must be defined as the Leading Ledger . The Leading Ledger is based on the same accounting principles as that of the consolidated financial statements. It is integrated with all subsidiary ledgers and is updated in all company codes. This means that it is automatically assigned to all company codes. In each company code, the Leading Ledger receives exactly the same settings that apply to that company code : the currencies, the fiscal year variant and posting period variant .
You must designate one of your ledgers as the Leading Ledger. It is not possible to designate more than one ledger as the leading ledger.
The menu path is :
SAP Customizing IMG -
> Financial Accounting ( New ) -
> Financial Accounting Basic Settings (New) -
> Ledgers -
> Ledger -
> Define Ledgers for General Ledger Accounting
Clicking on the checkbox identifies one of your ledgers as the Leading Ledger.
7. Activation of Non Leading Ledgers
Non Leading Ledgers are parallel ledgers to the Leading Ledger . They can be based on local accounting principle, for example. You have to activate a non- Leading Ledger for individual company codes. Non- Leading Ledgers can have different fiscal year variants and posting period variants per company code to the Leading Ledger of this company code.
The menu path is :
SAP Customizing IMG -
> Financial Accounting ( New ) -
> Financial Accounting Basic Settings (New) -
> Ledgers -
> Ledger -
> Define and Activate Non Leading Ledgers
8.Assign scenarios to ledgers
A Scenario combines Customizing settings from different business views. Each business view specifies which posting data is transferred from different application components in General Ledger Accounting, such as cost Center update or Profit Center update .You assign the desired scenarios to your ledgers. For each ledger, you define which fields are filled with posting data from other application components.
SAP delivers a number of scenarios in the standard system. It is not possible to create additional scenarios.
The menu path is:
SAP Customizing IMG -
> Financial Accounting ( New ) -
> Financial Accounting Basic Settings (New) -
> Ledgers -
>Fields -
> Display Scenarios for General Ledger Accounting.
9. Cost of sales accounting
Cost of sales accounting is a way to create a profit and loss statement (P&L) for a company by comparing the revenues to the costs or expenses incurred to obtain these revenues.
The expenses are mainly divided by functional area such as:
Manufacturing
Administration
Sales
Research and Development
We can activate Cost of Sales Accounting by the following menu path :
SAP Customizing IMG -
> Financial Accounting ( New ) -
> Financial Accounting Basic Settings (New) -
> Ledgers -
>Ledger------> Activate Cost of Sales Accounting

your post: I imported chart.png file to flash libray. I
converted chart.png file to symbol(Symbol1). I want to use Symbol1
many times after deleting chart.png from the library. but i failed.
Symbol1 also become useless. if you know explain the way. please.
Why did you delete chart.png from your library. The object of
importing images (gif,png,jpg, etc.) to a new movie library is to
use them:
Here are some instructions.
1. Import the image(s) you want in your movie to your movie
library.
2. Modify > trace bitmap each imported image that you will
use, BEFORE you make it a symbol.
3. If you are planning to use that image several times, make
it a Movie Clip symbol.
4. Do not delete an image from your library unless you don't
want it in the movie.
5. If you delete graphic symbols and/or movie_clip symbols
that you need in the movie, any and all symbols created for the
image(s) will automatically delete too.
I hope this helps. -
Blazeds messaging header problem
I have been using blazeds messaging for several weeks now it
thought it was working fine. But somehow it's losing information
now.
Here is some of the code I've been using to create the
message:
var message:IMessage = new AsyncMessage();
var arc:ArrayCollection = chartList.getChartList();
trace(" send chartLIST len ", arc.length);
message.headers["charts"] = arc;
reportManager.send(message);
The trace shows that the charlist has 3 elements when sent.
But in the java method which receives the code it comes up
with a list of size zero:
public Object invoke(Message message) {
Map info = message.getHeaders();
ArrayList chartList = (ArrayList)info.get("charts");
System.out.println(" CHART LIST Size: "+chartList.size());
// more code below to delete chart...
The ArrayCollection to ArrayList works in other parts of the
code. I have no idea why it's failing at this point and again this
code was working before.Ok, so well no one responded...In case anyone in the future
stumbles into this problem, I think I've found out the problem.
Since I was deleting this info, I was sending the delete
request to my java code (which read the array of ChartObjects and
deleted each one using the name of the chart to delete it from the
database) and then immediately afterwards, I was deleting the same
data structures in my flex code.
Apparently Flex doesn't copy the data and send it, but sends
the actual data or a reference to it. So even though my lines to
remove the data were after the database delete request, by the time
the database deletion got executed in the system, the data had been
erased by flex. It seems like Flex does not handle events in
sequential order as it is written in the code. I've run into this
in other places with messaging and flex. So I'll just have to
rewrite the logic to take into account this behavior. -
I am doing a project, but the directions for how to make the graph is for Excel. My directions say to "Right-click on the graph and click 'Select Data.' I am then supposed to delete all series labeled "Time." My graph is a scatter-plot, with no line connecting the points, if that is any additional help. How can I do this using Numbers '09? Thank you very much.

Hi Alexa,
A "series" refers to the data in one column (or row, depending how you have arranged your data) in a table.
For scatter charts, each series is a paired set of data in two columns, one for the X position, the other for the Y position of each data point.
Scatter plots may share the x value series, using the same column of x data in pairs with two or more columns of y data.
From your description, it's unclear to me what the instructions are asking you to do. Not the procedure, but what the data looks like 'now' and the expected change after you follow the procedure given, assuming you were using the product for which the instructions were written.
You'll find instructions for creating scatter carts on page 157 of the Numbers '09 User Guide, in Chapter 7, Creating Charts from Numerical Data.
The Numbers '09 User Guide, and the iWork Formulas and Functions User Guide, may be downloaded from the Help menu in Numbers. Both are invaluable assets when working with Numbers.

How do I restore a chart I deleted from the Summary Report?
I inadvertently deleted a question from the Summary Report by clicking the little trash can icon and I'd like to get it back. To clarify: the question is still there on the form; I'm just looking to restore the chart on the report.
Thanks!Nope. Macjack's suggestion didn't worked - it's what I tried before coming here.
I realise I could simply recreate the Smart Search folder, but as indicated - I'm having difficulty recreating the exact same results - it had several conditions to it, and I'm not having much luck with repeating the effect. If nothing comes up - I'll have no choice - but still hoping someone knows of a plain and simple option.... -
Regarding Deletion of Chart of Accounts
Dear All,
When I am trying to delete the chart of accounts in development server it is saying that Chart of accounts is used in Special Purpose Ledger and entries cannot be deleted. So i removed all the accounts for down payments received and down payments made. Even then it is giving the same message. Are there any other areas where accounts are assigned for Special GL transactions.Hi,
Go to Tcode GCL2 and un assign all the company codes to the special purpose ledger.
Now try to delete the COA.
If still the problem exists, then go to GCDE
Press F4 button in the ledger field and check if there are any entries in that list with a Z* table, if yes choose that entry.
Deselect test run check box and execute it.
This will fix your issue.
Thanks,
Srinu -
Deleting task in Gantt chart - TaskId = 0
Hi all,
In JDeveloper 11.1.1.6, Project Gantt chart contains few simple tasks (with TaskId, start date, end date).
When I try to delete some task, dataChangeEvent.getTaskId() throws "java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 0, Size: 0" in my managed bean:
<dvt:projectGantt id="projectGantt1"
value="#{bindings.ArtikelView1.projectGanttModel}"
var="row" startTime="2012-05-31"
endTime="2012-08-29"
tooltipKeys="#{projectGanttBean.tooltipKeys}"
tooltipKeyLabels="#{projectGanttBean.tooltipLabels}"
dataChangeListener="#{projectGanttBean.handleDataChanged}"
nonWorkingDaysOfWeek="sat sun"
nonWorkingDaysColor="#f7f3a5"
doubleClickListener="#{projectGanttBean.handleDoubleClick}"
partialTriggers=":::cb1">
public void handleDataChanged(DataChangeEvent dataChangeEvent)
BindingContainer bindings = getBindings();
int _type = dataChangeEvent.getActionType();
if (_type == DataChangeEvent.DELETE){
OperationBinding operationBinding = bindings.getOperationBinding("deleteArtikel");
Map params = operationBinding.getParamsMap();
params.put("workOrder", dataChangeEvent.getTaskId()); =====> getTaskId() throws exception
DataChangeEvent with action types TIME_CHANGED or DURATION_CHANGED works well on the same task (TaskId contains correct value for these action types)...
Any idea what could be wrong?
Thanks a lot for support
Daniel

SAP Gantt chart do not have this functionality like other project planning softwares.

When using a chart in Pages, the first zero is deleted in any number beginning with a zero
When using a chart in Pages, the first zero is deleted in any number beginning with a zero (for example, 055). How do I stop this?
The leading zero in the value 55 is unnecessary, so Numbers eliminates it for cells formatted as Number or Automatic. A cell formatted as Text prior to making the entry will take whatever you type into it and keep it as entered. A cell formatted as Numeral System will display as many places as you tell it to, and will add zeros as necessary without your even having to type them in.

How to delete or disable chart
How can I disable chart from the existing report?
Do I need to go WAD and look for the templet for particular query and check for setting?
Query contains the chart, so I am assuming web template was used to create it. Pleas help me to get some directions and steps to delete or disable the chart.
Thanks,Hi Isac,
If you want to disable chart in report you need to go to the WAD template of that particular report and you can remove that chart from the templete.
Chat contains query behind it and query doesn't contains any chart.
Revert back if you still have any queries.
