Delete comment (post-it note) from cell
I can't for the life of me figure out how to delete a comment (post-it note) from a table cell. Thanks
Hello kfrmac,
A comment can be removed by clicking the 'X' in the upper right corner of the comment itself.

I was cleaning up my gmail account while on my pc and I deleted "inotes" and "itrash" not knowing what they were. When I opened my ipad, my notes were there for a second, but as I was looking at them, they deleted automatically. They are gone from my iphone too. I have a macbook pro and I'm wondering how I can get them off of that before it updates and they disappear (if that's what's happening). I had no idea I was deleting my notes. I REALLY need to get them back.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!Windows Control Panel>iCloud Control Panel>Sign Out.

My IPhone 4 deleted all my music not from ITunes
When it deleted all my music I synced it up with my computer and got all my songs back but it mixed up all the album covers. Anyone know how to fix it
I realize that you posted this in July, but I had the exact same problem and just talked to Apple Care and they helped me fix it.
What you need to do is:
1. Plug in your iPhone, click on it on the sidebar, and then click the music tab.
2. Uncheck "Sync Music" in the upper lefthand corner.
3. Answer yes to the "Are you sure you want to delete all of your music?" question.
4. Recheck "Sync Music."
5. Click apply in the bottom righthand corner.
6. If it doesn't start syncing or doing something automatically, hit sync.
Mine took about 3 minutes to start showing that the syncing was happening e.g., "Copying 1 of 3655 to Lily's iPhone," so be a little patient.
Hope this helps! -
Upon completion of matching and uploading my very large library of music (+15,000), I wanted to see how iTunes Match worked on my iPhone. I started it and selected the first album in the list to listen to. I let it play the entire album and then decided that I wanted to remove certain songs off of the iPhone's local storage. Tried to delete the individual songs and it would not let me. So I figured that I would go back and just delete the album. After selecting delete I went back to listen to one of the songs on the album and realized that it deleted several of the songs from the iTunes Match completely. When pulling iTunes up on my computer the songs are still there but does not give me the option to upload to iTunes Match.
I have tried turning off Match on iPhone and back on (doesn't seem to do anything cause when turned off the iPhone still displays the music.)
Then tried power cycling. (Still shows the music)
Then I tried power cycling again and resyncing the phone and the iPhone still shows the music as it was on the phone.
How do I get the music to be accessable on the iPhone again.. I have been messing with this for the course of 3 hours now.. and any help would be appreciated!!
iPhone 3GS 8GBActually Michael I know exactly how to delete.. The iPhone would not let me swipe to the left to delete the individual song, so I went to the album view and did it there.. The issue I am having is a bug because it removed 3/4 of the albums availablity off my iPhone.. You post proved no help because it is basic troubleshooting which, if you read my post, I have already done.. I did however figure out how to fix my issue on my own.. Basically I had to remove the album from my iTunes on my computer and upload it again to iTunes Match..

I need to post my iPad from Australia to the USA but Australia Post is refusing to do it because they say the lithium battery in the iPad mini will be detrimental in the aircraft. Does anyone know if the iPad mini DOES have a lithium battery? The alternative is to use FedEx which will be too expensive.
tonefox wrote:
It is. I doubt that there is any tablet or phone on the market that is not using a lithium battery.
Today's cameras, cell phones, watches, etc. also use lithium batteries yet they're routinely taken onboard aircraft. Again, it's not the same as the several tons on the Malaysian flight. -
Is it possible to restore a single deleted note from a time machine backup? If so how?
is it possible to restore a single deleted note from a time machine backup? If so how?
Hi James,
I was able to use VI server to invoke LV 6.1 VI's using LV 7.0 without issue.
After discovering this and mentioning it in a post somewhere, Rolf Kalbermatter indicated that was expected. and I should not be suprised.
So....
Vi Server may help you.

Is there a separate place for me to post VIs to be converted? What's a ballpark figure for the maximum file size i could put on to be converted?
Do you know if the LabVIEW developers can/will create a way to overcome this problem rather than having to convert a VI through all the intermediate versions?
To the best of knowledge NO.
For each versino of LV there isw code included that runs behind the scenes when you open a VI from an earleir version which replaces old functions with the new versions. This is called Mutation code. To accomplish its task it has to know everything that changed between version X and Y. Since it is possible to baby step the versions up and the number of user that jump multiple major versions is small, I don't think any effort will go into that work.
THe largest attachment I have managed to upload was 3 or 4 Meg.
Just trying to help,
Ben

I want to delete a time machine folder from an old backup I´m not ussing anymore
I´ve read a lot of time machines threads before posting but none of them solve my issue.
I have an external HD with a time machine backup from a computer I don´t have anymore.
I want to clean that backup, deleting folders I don´t need. How can I do it? I cannot enter on time machine mode because de backup is not from the computer I have now. I´ve tried from the finder, but it doesn´t allow me to move folders to the trash.
Thanks folks
H.See if you can inherit the backup.

Selective Deletion from Infocube Only (Not from Aggregates)
Hi,
For the Selective Deletion, i used the FM 'RSDRD_SEL_DELETION' in program. But this FM deletes the data first from Infocube then from aggregate.Because of this, deletion took more time to delete and adjust the Aggregate.
I need an way in which i can delete the data from Infocube only and after i reach to my reconcile period then i will deactivate and actiavted the aggregate, so the data will be consistent in Infocube and aggregate.
is there any to Delete(Selective Deletion) the data only from the Infocube not from its aggregate (for the Performance Point of View)?
Thanks in Advance.
Regards,
Himanshu.Hi
You can try manual selective deletion which will delete data from cube only. check out the below thread.
steps fro selective deletion for cubes and ODS
If you want to delete data from FM only, then try to deactivate your aggregates before you start your selective deletion.
Once deletion is done, you can reload the aggregates

Delete contacts from icloud, but not from iphone
I want to delete all my contacts and calendar appointments from iCloud, but not from my iphone, and i still want to have iCloud turned on in the future.
I have tried to delete the iCloud account from my iphone but when i log in to iCloud.com from a computer the contacts are still there even though i deleted the iCloud account.
How do i remove these things only from iCloud?I fixed it, i had to turn off the syncing of the contacts and the calendar on the phone and then delete them from iCloud. Obviously if i turn on the syncing of these items again the contacts and calendar appointments will reappear in iCloud.
So problem solved. -

I have recently recieved messages indicating that my start up disc is almost full. Consequently I need to remove some files from my hard drive. I've backed up my hard drive onto a NAS system & onto an external harddrive. The problem now, is that whenever I try to delete a file, a message comes up saying that if I remove this file from my hard disc it will remove it from all my other devices that are syn. to it. How do I remove a file (movies) from my iMac but not from other devices.
Thanks for your help
RobertYou're right - this question has nothing to do with iSync!
You're best bet would be to buy yourself an external Firewire or USB 2.0 hard-disk. There's no way you'll get 150gb onto an 80gb drive - certainly not in an instantly accessible way.
Your new Mac would've had the Migration Assistant appear during the initial OS install. This allows you to connect your new and old Mac together via a Firewire cable and automatically transfer your important files from old Mac to new.
Once you've all the files off your old Mac, re-format it and re-install the OS that came with it. If you boot up the Mac from the OS install DVD, there is an option to re-format the HD and install the OS.
