Delete device data without connection?
Hi all,
How to device lock or delete device data within Afaria without Wifi connection or mobile data?
If the device is stolen, the SIM card is removed and the Wifi connection is turned off?
I know that the the server sends the commands to the device using GCM (for android) or Apple push notification (for iOS), where network connection is necessary.
Thanks in advance
The device should have internet connectivity for device lock or delete data from device from Afaria admin console. Without internet connectivity in device Afaria can't control the device.

Is it possible to Delete LOB data without deleting the row it is part of?
The goal is to purge "old" LOB data and "reclaim" the space for use by "new" LOB data.... sounds simple....
I have a table with 15 columns of data, one of those columns is a LOB.
The table is partitioned and defined with 'ENABLE STORAGE IN ROW'...

How can I free up space on my iphone (by posibbly deleting some music) without connecting to my mac itunes? I'm travelling abroad for some time so can't access my itunes account on my mac at home and the iphone is full. I thought I'd left enought room for plenty of new apps, but alas no. So I need more room for more apps. We have my partners PC laptop with her itunes loaded if thats any use. I've deleted and backed up all my iphone photos already. Thanks.

The process is just like deleting an unwanted email in your inbox. Simply find the track(s) you don’t want on your iOS 5 device anymore, slide your finger over the track listing to the left or the right to reveal a hidden “delete” button, and then select “delete” and the track is gone. Unfortunately there’s no mass delete option, so those Backstreet Boys songs are gonna have to be deleted one at a time. -

How can you delete an app without losing saved data/progress? Is there a way through iCloud? I have an 8gb 4th gen iPod touch. I have a lot of music, so with 8gb, space is limited. Some apps I have take up 20-30 MB. Some of these games I don't play that much, but I don't delete them because I have made a lot of progress (levels, scores, acheivements). It would be nice to delete some of these 30 MB apps that take up precious space, and them redownload them in the future when I have more space, but without having to start the whole game over.
Also, I read somewhere that there might be a way to do this with iCloud, but I don't really know how.

I have an imap account and deleted all mail from server. Once doing this all emails from my iPad -which was on a wi-fi- where automatically deleted. Fortunately these emails are still visible on my iPhone that was without connection. If I send all these emails to my iCloud account - they will remain into my outgoing folder until I open my wi-fi- …BUT will they be sent when I open my wi-fi connection, or since they are no longer on my server… be deleted for ever!?
This is how IMAP works, if you delete from one device it will also be deleted in the other devices.

Delete Master Data - with or without sids

i am working on 0customer_attr
now when i right click and see master data it has 100 records
the same in r3 has 85 records.
so i thought i will try to delete master data and then load again.
so i right cick on 0customer and choose Delete master data.
now if i go back and see data for 0customer it still exists.
q1. what is the approach to delete and reload master data so between r3 and bw synchronization exists ???
q2. should i select with SIDS or without SIDS ???

Q1..how can i find which transaction data is using those records ?
Doubleclick on the Master data IO. In the right pane you will find "Where-Used List" option. Click on that. It will give you the entire list of BW objects(DSO, Cube etc) in which your Master data IO is used.
q2. How can i delete transaction data
Right click on the Data targets(DSO, Cube etc) in which your master data IO is used, select the option Delete Data.
(or) Right click on the Data targets(DSO, Cube)>Manage>Select the Request-->Delete
q3. i dont see anything in psa,, it is master data so is that why there is no psa ??
Though it is a Master data, you should have loaded the data via DS so PSA will be there. It is possible that you might have deleted the PSA data.
Do one thing, delete all the Transactional Data(follow Q2 ans), then delete Master Data contents. Then do the loading again.

Well, I guess my heading says it all. I am trying to delete multiple (like A LOT) of photos from my camera roll on my iphone 5 without connecting to my computer. All other instructions I've read on here do not work. (I'm not saying I read ALL instructions though) But the ones I've read, do not work.
I DO NOT want to connect to my computer to do this, so please read what I am asking! It HAS to be possible, it's just downright silly if it isn't and I'll be ****** about the 3 grand I've given to Apple in the last few months for various reasons...

What would happen if I turn off my backup and delete backup data From my device? Will it delete my music and everything for ever or just stay in the cloud but not on my device?
If you have multiple devices backing up to the Cloud, you will see all of them listed. You would click on each device to change what is backed up from that device. You can then delete your individual back-ups.
Once you have all your settings to your liking, you can then go back to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup, and click on Back Up Now (bottom of the screen) to create a fresh backup with your new settings.

You can deactivate the aggregate. The data will be deleted but structure will remain.
If you switch off the aggregates it wont be identified by the OLAP processor. report will fetch the data directly from the cube. Switching off the aggreagte won't delete any data,but temporarly the aggregate will not be availbale as if it is not built on the info cube. No reporting is not possible on swtiched off aggregates. The definition of the aggregate is not deleted.
You can temporarily switch off an aggregate to check if you need to use it. An aggregate that is switched off is not used when a query is executed.This aggregate will be having data from the previous load's. If the aggregate is switched off means it wont be available for reporting but data can be rolled up into it.
If u deactivate the aggregates the data will be deleted from the aggregates and the aggregate structure will remain the same.
The system deletes all the data and database tables of an aggregate. The definition of the aggregate is not deleted.
Later when you need those aggregate once again you have to create it from scratch.

I can't connect to my MacBook because I can't get THAT to start. It just sits in it's blue screen With the apple, spinning it's gear. All this happened after I used mackeeper. If anyone can help with that, I'd appreciate it. I've tried starting in safe mode,resetting everything but nothing happens. It's not the kernel, ive delt with that it looks like it's going to boot but it won't. Then there's my iPad which says I need to delete some stuff to be able to download anything. I know I have room on there but there are 2copies of a movie and I'd like to delete one of them. Is it possible to delete anything on the ipad without connecting to MacBook? F4280 Print Alignment Issues on Business Card Card Stock
