Delete dot (...) in report painter

Hi,
I created cost center report on report painter (GRR2).
And as attached, some dot (...) is remained in column text and cannot delete.
It seems just text, but cannot be deleted.
DO you have any idea what is it?

Double click col header and try changing text from there by pressing below mentioned button. Also in formatting-row/column change text to medium length.

I checked in options/functions available in SAP, but couldn't find any option for mass deletion of reports groups available
I understand we can use an LSMW to do this for multiple report groups however apart from this is there any function provided by SAP for deleting multiple report groups

I also couldn't find anything handy. In my case the time in manually deleting would have taken less than creating an LSMW for such one-off situation so just delete the obsolete report groups manually

Deletion of Report Painter Extractor

If user has saved an EXTRACT in the report REPORT PAINTER. Can anyone tell me how to DELETE the Same? And also can other than that user is able to DELETE that EXTRACT?

there is a SAPNET Info-note 353636 (Composite note "Extract management") which refers to several SAPNET-notes deling with extract deletion, management, eg 183238 (deletion report RGRGRIX4 or RGRGRIXZ depending on your SAP release).

Delete Report painter from group

How to delete a Report painter from a group which is assign to it.
I mean I have created a report assign it to a group to run it. But I want to delete it can some tell what is the way to delete it.

Hi,
You can delete a report from a report group from transaction code GR52.
Enter the report group in transaction code and press enter. It will display the reports attached to the report group. Select the report which needs to be deleted and click on delete ?(red icon).

Report Painter - Hide library and report instead of deleting

Good Afternoon Everyone,
My finance users are pressuring me to clean up the navigation in the GRR3 report painter transaction. Many of the libraries that are displayed are standard SAP libraries and I'm hesitant to begin deleting standard SAP libraries, reports, and report groups since you can't get those back once deleted. Is there a possibility to hide libraries/reports that are not being used any longer? I'm on my own and would like your input about what the best practice is when faced with this scenario. Hi,
I don't know if its possible to suppress/hide libraries/reports.
Create T-codes for the reports the users really need and add the reports to the corresponding area menu in SAP. Thus users don't have a need to use GRR3 anymore, remove the T-code from the authorization concept.

GRR3 Deleted Report Painter report

I deleted a Report Painter report in GRR2. It no longer exists in table T008 or assigned to any report group. However, the deleted report still appears in GRR3 under the respective library. How can we remove permanently a deleted report from GRR3?

Okay, good to know. Now I have to figure out how to import an updated version of library, or the whole Report Painter tools. Thank you Navneet for indirectly helping me resolve the problem.

Creating a new report painter library

Hi all
I have created a z table for the verification of FI-CO values to use with report painter. This table is modeled like the GLT0, the only difference is that my program fill it with the values of secondary cost elements (for production direct costs). So in the table I have records of accounts defined in chart of account and records with only CO elements. I have created the library using GLT0 as template and created the user exit for take the definition of cost elements and FI account in the same process. All work well the only problem is that for the cost element the values aren't displayed also if present in the table.
I supposed in some point the extraction of values is linked to a control of presence of account in FI (SKA1 or SKB1), but I don't find the point.
Someone has some ideas?Thanks

First, you don't so much want to back up the library, you want to archive the unwanted items. When archiving you should archive to two separate drives because there could come the day when you plug in the single archive copy and the drive doesn't start.
Why not just archive a copy of the library as it is now, then delete the items from the library on the computer? Don't bother making a new, blank library.

Unable to create a report painter form (Message no. KH205).

Dear all,
I am trying to create a report painter form, but the system gives an error:
Key figure scheme contains errors -> check definition
Message no. KH205
Diagnosis
Entry not contained in Table T237A.
Procedure
Check key figure scheme (in particular line 9062) in table T237A.
I checked in Tcode KER1 but did not find any Key figure scheme.
Afterwards, I checked table T237A and T237 and found out that number of hits in table 237A is less than in T237A.
I think this is the reason why system has such reaction.
Please help me with this issue.

Hi,
This issue can occur if you have transported the Key Figure Scheme (KFS) from another system and /or deleted value fields. Has this happened ?
To fix the issue you need to renumber the T237 in the source client executing the function module RKE_FILL_TABLES_T237FF as mentioned in the note 13838.
After this try to create a new form and check if that works. If there are still problems with the existing form/report then the best
way might be to delete and create again

Issue in Report Painter

Dear Friends,
I am developing profit and loss report through report painter.
Client requirement is for income - take revenue cost elements and for expenditure - take cost center.
Now I am using CCSS table for the report but I am able to see only expenditure and not able to see the income, whchi is mapped to revenue cost element. if i delete expenditure line item then i could see the income related line item. Why is it so? Why I am not able see the revenue cost element and cost center line items in a single reports.
If this is not possible. What could be best way to define this report.
Please advice the correct library as well.

But my client has their own format of Income and expenditure statement.
They have prepared income related schedules as one account group and expenditure related scedule as one cost center group.
Suppose
Income
Scedule 1 (Account group A001)
Scedule 2( Account group A002)
Expenditure
Scedule 3 (Cost center group C001)
Scedule 4 ( Cost center group C002)
I have created each set for account group and cost center group. We have also created cost element for all types of account
Now In report painter for Income related scedules i have assign revenue cost element as a characterisitcs..
for Expenditure related scedules I have assign Cost center as charachterstics. But it is not working. How should I prepare this report.
Please advise.

Project System - Report Painter - Cost roll up issue

Hi,
We have an issue with the roll up of the costs in Report Painter report in Project Systems. The problem occurs only with those costs which have been settled to an internal order from a WBS element.
We are using the same cost elements to settle to the Cost Center and Internal order and roll up of the costs work fine for those settled to cost center. But the roll up does not happen for the costs settled to an internal order. Would appreciate if someone can guide on how to fix this issue.

Report Painter ECC 6.0 Issue.

We are running on ECC 6.0 and we are having a very critical problem in
a report painter report.This issue is very urgent for us here.
The description is as follows:
We are running a Report Painter report in GR55 and executing it.The
report has cost center data on the different company codes which are
the columns in the report. Somehow we are getting the same data
displayed for all the company codes.
Initially when i tried to run the report , it gave me the message
Message no. KCRP026
Characteristic 'BUKRS' does not exist and will be deleted from the form.
In our previous version 4.6c we never had any problem.This problem came
after the upgarde was done.

the account is probably in account group or set. Look for that one in report painter and then go to the set or account group and remove/add the account.

Report painter: Carry Forward (KSLVT not available)

Hi,
I am building a report based on table GLPCT (using report painter), in a column I need to have the carry forward and the records of the current year . Aim is to have, for a group of accounts, the total from the begining in SAP to today: Carry forward (KSLVT from previous year) + Janvier (KLS01) to KSL03 or KSL05 (depending of parameters filled in selection screen).
I don't know how to select or add the carry forward (field KSLVT).

thanks for your answer. For Library 8A2 in GR22, there is no dedicated fiedl for carry forward (KSLVT) in key figures, but there is:
- KSL-GES_JAHR (Total year)
- STOCK_ACT (Closing bal. in PrCtr-Currency)
- IST_KONZW_KUM (Cumulated actual)
I think that could help me. I will check and keep you update.
An other think is we did a profit center reorganisation (hierarchy modification), in March, and we did delete entries in GLPCA (but we did not do anything within GLPCT, tha's were balances are stored).
And it seems transaction 2KES has not been re-run after the reoarganisation, I have those points to check also.
