Delete ECN for a BOM

Hi,
How can we delete ECN along with the BOM to which it is attached? All this is getting affected in future.
This has got creted by mistake and needs to be removed from SAP.

Deletion flags for equipment BOM

Hi,
In equipment BOM header , there are 2 fields for deletion flag :
-one is set manually (the one on the right)
-the other set by the system (the one on the left).
Can someone explain to me how deletion flag indicator (on the left) work?

Hi,
To explain this i must say first there is a difference in the Deletion Flag (Right in Header) and Deletion Indicator(Left in Header).
In SAP term The deletion Indicator shows the item which has already been Deleted from the System and Deletion flag shows that the record has been flagged for deletion and will hence be Archieve (when, depends on the Archieving strategy followed in the company).
To explain the affect these will have is the Deletion Indicator will not allow you to use the and will show the error as the object has been deleted and is not in the system.
Deletion flag for BOMs
Indicator: this BOM will be archived during the next archiving run and, if necessary, deleted from the data base.
Where as the Deletion Flag will show that the object is ready to be archieved and is set to be deleted.
Deletion Indicator
Indicator showing that the BOM header or the BOM item has been deleted with reference to the change number.
Now there is another difference in the way we can amke the objects active from deletion flag anf the deletion indicator.
For Deletion flag you have to go to change mode and just remove or untick the deletion flag.
For Deletion indicator you have to go to Archieve table and pull the object back in to SAP system and it will then show only the deletion flag, which can be removed by the way explained above.

Exclude ECN for Single BOM application

Hi Gurus,
My client implemented ECN for BOM , now the requirement is of removing ECN from BOM usages "Plant maintenece". So kindly sugeest how it can be done , Shall I Use some exit of changing BOM whicle saving and commit the change number if BOm usages in PM or there is any other way to go for it?

Dear sap user,
Create a separate role for creating BOM for specific BOM application and check for this authorization object(C_STUE_NOH) value
from No to "Yes" in all the roles which has the the authorization for the BOM creation or change,and assign it the user.
Check whether this works out.

Using ECN for creating Bom

Hi Friends
We usually use ECN for making any changes to Bom or Routing. Any idea whether change number could also be used for creating Boms, Routings? Or rather, when we do not put an ecn number while creating Bom, system should give an hard stop.

As u asked,ECN can be made as a mandatory field while creating & changing a material,BOM,Routing.
<b>1.For material,ECN can be made as mandatory by using a field exit.For Field exit,you can check in SE37.
2.For BOM,Check in SPRO-Prod-Basic Data-BOM-Control Data for BOM-Define modification parameters(OS27).Also Check in OS25,for more settings.
Check whether there's a tick mark in the check box for EC Management Active.
3.For routing,Check in OP5A,Prod-Basic Data-Rotuing-Control Data-Define Field Selection.</b>

Dear Vivek Sharma,
Once doing the config settings in OS27,OS54, and having a check for the authorization object
C_STUE_NOH ,the system asks a change number while creating and changing the BOM in CS01 and
CS02 respectively.
CC05,CC07,CC60 are the reports used in standard SAP for ECM.
For exact BOM changes check this,
Check in Table STAS using BOM number.
Say For Eg:
Product is X and it's BOM number is 00002850 and it has got a component say A.
Now if you check in STAS table you will get the result like this,
STLNR STLKN AENNR LKENZ STVKN
00002850 00000001 00000001
Now Let's assume you are deleting this component A and adding a new component say B using a Change
number 50000000076.So for the same product X if you check in table STAS,then the result will be like this,
STLNR STLKN AENNR LKENZ STVKN
00002850 00000001 500000000076 X 00000001
00002850 00000002 500000000076 00000002
Which means item node 00000001 is no more present in the BOM because its marked with LKENZ = X.

Pls advise me how to do the changing of Valid from "date"....
Is there any process in CC01 or ECM???....
pls reply me in detail step format (step by step analysis)....
I wrongly created in CS01 and CA01 as 05.10.2007 as my valid from date instead of 01.10.2007.....
How to change to my actual one......
I dont know how to change it exactly.....as im beginner in SAP...pls take this into consideration...and post ur replies imm.

IF there's no setting for Date Check in OS54 - Engineering Change Management
Control Data,then you can create a change number with past dates,and also to
use the same one for changing BOM.
Tell me one thing you are saying you want to use ECM.Was the earlier one
created without BOM was created without an ECN?
See already if you have created your BOM with an ECN,then remove the date
check setting which I have mentioned in OS54.
Now goto T code CC02 ,enter the Change number and give the valid from date as
01.10.2007.
After that check in CS03 whether this date(01.10.2007)is getting reflected or not.
I'm sure this will solve your problem.

How to set the deletion flag for the PM assembly ?
If possible to set the deletion Flag then whether it will be displayed in structural list transaction such as IH01 or IH06?

Hi Surya,
In CS02 you are deleting Material BOM and not PM Assembly (which is defined as material).
To delete PM Assembly you have to use MM06.
To view in IH01 you have marked BOM explosion tick and Only PM assemblies tick mark is selected.
To view in IH06 you need to select FL line item in out put and then Structure >>>> Hierarcy List.

To create req for new BOM component

hello all,
i confirm the order and now i need to add one more component to the header material for the same order.
how can i create requirement for new BOM component.
what i done is i 1st cancel the confirmation. then go for read PP mater data. after that should i run the MRP for header material to create planned order for new BOM component?

Dear,
If you have execute any transaction like GI confirmation then read PP master data will not work.
Best way you can cancel the confirmation and reveres the good issue by 262 movement type. Then do TECO to the order all reservation get deleted.
Then update the BOM with new component and run MRP with planning mode-3 delete and recreated. It will create planned order then convert it to production and go ahead.

Disable 'Delete' button for posted invoices in GOS Attachment List

Hi,
when i open the attachement list of a generic object i see the attached files. In this dialog i want to disable the "Delete" ( attachment) button for Posted invoices ( In MIR4 tcode -> If the invoice is already posted it should not allow to delete the attachment )
I read oss notes and some ides of copying diverse classes but nothing really helps.
I found two badis
GOS_SRV_REQUEST
GOS_SRV_SELECT
but i dont know where we have to write our code .
I read so many posts related to attachments but all the places described about authoriztion object .
Can you please give some ideas to disable the delete button for posted invoices.

For GOS there is no SAP Standard authorization concept. The only way to
manage GOS authorizations is implementing it via custom code as
described in SAP Note: 491271.
Please have a look at the SAP notes:

701609 Authorizations for services: Final classes
For the use of S_OC_ROLE: this object states if a user is an office
administrator he can create, modify or delete every document, even
those created by other users. If the user is not an office admin, the
user is still able to create his own attachments.
Regarding to the issue, there is an role object S_GUI for upload.
To match your inquiry, pleaes find the user's role and active the
object S_GUI.

By default, Acrobat DC for iOS displays recently viewed files. You need to switch to other file location (such as Local, Document Cloud, Creative Cloud) to delete, rename, move, or duplicate files.
You can switch to Local, if you would like to see the files and folders that are locally stored on your iPad.

How to delete or activate the deletion flag for the sales order line item

Hi All,
I have one Cust order & with referance to that cust order one production order is created . The production order user has done the Goods issue with 261 movement type & GR wi 101 before 4 months back , & he has reverse the GR with 102 on todays date . but in materila master the variable prize is maintain thats why it is showing a differance in the cost .
User want to delete the Production order as well as the custemer order From MDO4 , So we have make the Production order TECO & save , it is gone form the MD04 but the Custumer order still there . It is not allow us to cancell or reject . We have tried to maintain the reason for rejection but it showing the message that you can not activate the deletion flag for the order .
Could you please Help me to find out the way how can i delete the custemer order ?

W ehave Settele that order & then activate the deletion flag for the order & then cancel the sales order.

Unless you've recently attempted to downgrade iTunes this is probably a sign of a corrupt library file. See Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash.

To delete files folders or individual assests in the current incarnation of adobe creative cloud brouser/web portal rev:130626
1 - Check mark the box on left and select files or folders you would like Deleted/Trashed and move them to the ARCHIVE folder location inside your adobe creative cloud brouser/web portal....Then navigate to the ARCHIVE SECTION
2 - Once the files or folders you have check marked are moved to the ARCHIVE folder location you can select them for Permanant Deletion (Trash)
ps: you can also restore them......if you so choose....
3 - in case you missed this step after selecting/checking the files or folders in the ARCHIVE folder there is a small Triangle Selector drop down that will reviel the Permanently Delete option.... clicking that is the point of no return i think..... so do not be misled my the use of the term ARCHIVE.... DELETING PERMANANTLY IS DELETING YO!
4 - OK DONE NOW YOU GOT IT .....

Flag deletion date for customer

Hello All,
I have a requirement to get the flag deletion date for a customer on a sales organization level in a report, maintained in XD03/VD03 -
Have written the below code.
The problem with this is that the date is not fetched sometimes for a particular sales org.
Could anybody suggest?
