Delete email in icloud

When I log into my icloud account, an email account shows up that belongs to my son. How do I delete his email address??

To change your rescue email address will have to know the answers to your security questions.  If you do, do the following:
Navigate to My Apple ID using your web browser.
Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
Note: The option to send an email to reset your security questions and answers will not be available if a rescue email address is not provided. You will need to contact iTunes Store support in order to do so.
After you've validated your identity by correctly answering your security questions, click Edit to the right of your rescue email address.
If you don't know the answers to your security question you will have to contact iTunes store support for assistance: https://ssl.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html.

  • Deleted emails with iCloud feature

I know there is a way to view/retrieve deleted emails from the iPhone via the searchlight/spotlight feature.  However, once iCloud is set up on the iPhone where can I view deleted emails as it appears that iCloud does not show up on the searchlight/spotlight feature.  Am I able to view/retrieve deleted emails once iCloud is set up?  Thanks!

I think I may have answered the question myself here ->

Hummm...I believe this is possible...are you on Exchange or are you using Outlook to get POP or iMAP?

  • How can i delete emails in icloud

I just purchased the new iphone 5.  I use gmail and when I open up my gmail....there are over 2,000 messages in my inbox.  These are messages
that had been deleted from my other phone and on my main computer.  I was told to empty my folders in Gmail and I did.  Then I was told to
delete gmail from the phone and then put it in again...i did that and the messages are back again.  Is there some way I can get them off without
having to delete each and every one?

Is the gmail account a POP account or an IMAP account?  If POP, then you must have the other devices set to NOT delete emails from the server when deleting them from a device that accesses the gmail account.

  • Deleting emails using iCloud

When using iCloud, is there a way to save an email on one device while deleting it on all others?
    Thanks!

iCloud has IMAP accounts, which means the central server receives the incoming emails and syncs them to all devices on that account.  When the user deletes one email, the server then updates all  devices to delete that email.  In other words, all devices maintain an image of what's on the server.  What you are thinking of are POP email accounts which doesn't keep all devices in sync.

  • How can I restore deleted emails from iCloud backup?

I have an Earthlink email account that never synced with the server before, so I went a little crazy deleting a bunch of emails.  It wasn't until I checked my WebMail that I realized it deleted them from the server, too.  I checked with Earthlink and they couldn't do anything for me.  But I had an iCloud backup from yesterday that I tried to restore.  Except the email account keeps syncing with the server and I'm back to where I started.  Is there any way to retrieve this data?  It's gotta still be in the backup, right?
    Thanks,
    Ann

If they were backed up, you can restore your phone from that previous backup.  If they weren't backed up, you cannot restore them.

  • I deleted email verifying iCloud on my iPhone months ago.  How do I get another one sent w/out changing apple ID

I need to verify my iCloud account on my iPhone.  I deleted the email months ago that they sent to verify.  Now I can't seem to go on without this email and I can't find it.  How can I get a verification email sent again without changing my Apple ID?

    Hi scifuentes,
    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
The article linked below will walk you through the process of sending another Apple ID verification email, like the one that you accidentally deleted a few months ago.
If you didn't receive your Apple ID verification or reset email - Apple Support
    Resend the email
If your email address is correct in your Apple ID account, and you're receiving other email at that address, try resending the email:
If you're verifying an Apple ID email address, sign in to your account at My Apple ID, then click Resend next to the address.
If you're resetting your password or security questions, repeat those reset steps to send another reset email to your rescue address or primary address.
    Take care,
    -Jason

  • How do I retrieve a deleted email from icloud?

I have deleted an email from my trash and now need to recover it for legal reasons.  Can it be done?

    Hi there, thanks for responding.
Back at the end of Nov 13 I reset my original iPad to factory settings and my daughter had it whilst she contributed to a new iPad mini for me. It's all those documents from Pages that I can't access....the ones I wrote on that iPad. I can see they are in the cloud but can't get them even when I open pages. It doesn't give me an option to access files from icloud.
Also, I have managed to use up all my free icloud memory. Is that usual or have I been saving lots of unnecessary stuff. I have had an iPad for 14 months and changed devices par way through. I have just got an iPhone thinking that it would be great to have info on the phone from the iPad but of course the icloud memory won't allow all my contacts to come across as there's not enough room in the cloud. (I think anyway?)
I'm not at all a whizz with this techy stuff, I fact this all shows I don't know what the **** I'm doing!!!
    Help, help!,

  • How do i delete email from iCloud?

How do I delete e-mail from iCloud?

iCloud does not store your Gmail or AOL email.  Only your iCloud email is stored in your iCloud account.  If you wish to delete some of your iCloud email you can go to icloud.com from your computer, sing into your iCloud account, open Mail, then delete any email you no longer need.  When finished delete the trash to permanenly remove them from your account.
This article explains this in more detail, and provides additional suggestions for freeing up storage in your account: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4847.

  • I have deleted hundreds of pictures, I've deleted apps, deleted emails and texts, and I've turned off and deleted backups of apps on icloud and it is still telling me that there is not enough icloud storage available for my phone to be back

I have deleted hundreds of pictures, I've deleted apps, deleted emails and texts, and I've turned off and deleted backups of apps on icloud and it is still telling me that there is not enough icloud storage available for my phone to be backed up. I am supposed to do this before I go to the Apple store today to get my phone fixed. Can someone please help me? I have done almost everything.

This article explains ways to reduce your iCloud storage: Managing your iCloud storage.  In addition to what's mentioned in the article, if you have lots of photos and videos attached to your text messages, these are all included in your iCloud backup and deleting them can sometimes significantly reduce the size of your backup.
If worse comes to worse, back up your phone to your computer rather than iCloud.  To do this, connect it to your computer, open iTunes and go to File>Devices>Back Up and to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases.  This can be used to restore your data when you get your phone back.  (In fact, it's faster because you don't have to download the data from iCloud.)

I want to update iCloud account with new apple id but don't know password for old apple id.  Plus can no longer receive email at old apple id.  How can I delete the current iCloud account on my iPhone if the previously stated conditions exist?

If the old ID is yours, and if it is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
