Delete existing document templates from a workflow pattern

Hi folks,
I have a workflow that uses the step that creates a document from a template (MS Word). Now I want to delete two of these templates and don´t want them to appear anymore when that workflow is being executed.
So i deleted the template from the workflow and also from the binding to the step.
I even deleted the template using the report RSWUODEL. But the "deleted" template still appears when the workflow is called.
I also tried to make a new version of the workflow: no use.
How can i get rid of these templates?
Background: I am in an IS-U system (ERP) and the workflow is called by a front office process out of the CIC.
Any help is welcome!

Deleted the whole step that creates the document. Created new step to create the MS document, defined the binding new.

Pages stores those you created & saved as templates in (your account) > Library > Application Support > iWork > Pages > Templates > My Templates. The user's Library is hidden in Lion but it is easy to open. In Finder, hold down the Option key while clicking on the Go menu & your users Library will appear about halfway down the list.
I suggest you update your profile to show your current version of OS X. Click on "Your Stuff" at the top right of this page & choose profile (bottom of the list) then click edit.

New line formatting required in document template step in workflow

Dear all,
         I use document template step in workflow.
         In the document template step ,I use MS-Word as document class.
         I have to populate all employee names in the word document whose probation expires on a particular date.
         When my workflow attains execution, all employee names appear in single line in the word document.
         I want each employee name to appear in one line i.e., in new line in the word document.
         Is there any ABAP data dictionary type for new line?
        Please suggest me a solution to this problem.

          Thanks for your immediate response.
          I populate all employee names using custom method in the BOR zbus1065.All these employee names are inturn passed to multiline workflow container which in turn passed to word document.
          I did binding as following in the word document of document template step:
Following employee probation expires shortly
                     {&EMPLOYEENAME&}
          Though I am getting all employee names,all the employee names appear in single line.
           I want each employee name to appear in new line.
          Please suggest solution for which I will be grateful.

Open the Office template in the original Office program where it was created.
On the File menu, click Save As.
In the Save as Type list, click Word Document (*.doc) if you are in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel Workbook (*.xls)if you are in Microsoft Excel,
or Presentation (*.ppt) if you are in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Give the file a name, and then save it in the Web that contains the Document Library.
Click Save.
Browse to your Document Library, and then click Modify columns and settings.
Click Change general settings.
In the Template URL edit box, type the full path and file name to the file that you saved in step 4.

Deletion of Document templates not possible - 'Ok' 'Cancel' not displayed

I want to delete a few Document templates. I use the business role 'SALESPRO', I go to 'Document Templates', choose a template, press the button 'Delete' (icon garbage bin) and a I get a pop-up window but without the buttons 'OK', 'Cancel' .
The pop-up is empty not even the title 'Confirm Deletion'.
Why's that ?
Any hints on how I could tackle this ?

I was about to post the solution. I discovered that component but the code did not even go to DO_PREPARE_OUTPUT.
The solution was to 'Disable Cookies' (marked this checkbox in the technical profile associated with the business role).
I got the idea to try this after I came across a method get_server_cookie that could not read the cookie previously set by set_server_cookie (to this extent I came to debug .

Opening Word document templates from the New Document drop down does not open Word

I have a document library with a number of Content Types attached to it. Each one has a different Word document attached. We have an intermittent problem where when you click to open one of these templates from the 'New Document' drop
down list that nothing happens. The workaround appears to be either open Word first or re-boot the computer. I think there is a problem with SharePoint not linking in with Word correctly. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Can you please check in your internet explorer whether MS office Add ons enable or not.
If not enable that and restart your browser and try again.
Also try to repair MS Office if issue still persist.

Read a .dot (MS Word Document Template) from jsp

Hi,
I have a link to a .dot (MS Word document Template file on the jsp page. While trying to access it from a link on the browser, the file is getting displayed in binary format.
If I try a normal word document or excel document, I am able to open/save the document.
I tried adding the following lines in the web.xml too with the same results.

and tried with this also

it allows me to open/save the document and the
default type it gives is with the extension.doc.
I am able to save the file as a .dot itself.
So, if this is coming from an application in a

Deleted my BLANK template from my Pages templates page. Help!

Ive stupidly deleted my original blank template from Pages 09.
Now I can only open exisiting templates all of have page rules that i cant seem to disable.
How do I make a blank page so I can the template again. Or get rid of all page rules and start a fresh.

Do you have a Time Machine back up? If so, navigate to (your account) > Library > Application Support > iWork > Pages > Templates > My Templates & then use Time Machine to find a previous copy.

Fill MS Word Document Template from ABAP

Hello friends.
I have a problem here, i wonder if you can help me. Here's my scenario...
I have a MS Word template Document, like say a letter, with bookmarks on it. These bookmarks are the actual fields to be filled.
What i would like to do is have an ABAP program that reads data from SAP and opens the template and fills the bookmarks with the information retrieved. Basicallyis one thing like we do with Mail Merge in MS Word.
Does anyone have any idea of how to make this?

All you have to give to the method is the name of the bookmark in MS word and the text you want to print. I specially take a internal table of two fields (name and value) and fill it in another method and pass it to this method.

I want to delete self created templates from Pages.
I go to Application Support/iWorks'09 but all that is there are 'content' and 'frameworks' folders.
I am running on Lion 10.7.2.

I have to setup a workflow using Oracle Databse Server 8.1.7, Oracle 9i Application Server 1.0.2.2.1 and Workflow 2.6 on Windows 2000 Advanced Server.
Trying to run the sample workflow
"Workflow Demonstrations/Document Management"
(http://<host>:<port>/pls/<wf_dad>/wf_initiate.Process?ItemType=WFDM), I get the following problem:
When I push the button "Send Document" to attach a document, the new browser window shows :
"The page cannot be found". The url is like this: http://orc9:7778/jbc/aol/Oasjbc?template=dm_create.htm ...
Does anyone know what is missing or wrong configured here?
Which Document Management software can be used together with Workflow in order to be able to attach documents to items?
Can Internet File System be used here?

The existing document management feature in Workflow is reserved for future use. If you want to use iFS and Oracle Workflow together, there is a technical whitepaper available on OTN. Navigate OTN:Products:Oracle Internet File System->Technical Information.

Safe to delete a "List Template" that has been used to create several libraries?

In SharePoint 2010, is it safe to delete a "List Template" from the Gallery that has been used to create several libraries? I have a user that has requested the template be deleted. But he has used the template to create several active
libraries that he needs to keep. I wanted to make sure there will be no impact to those libraries and associated workflow, etc...

Libraries created from a template are not tied to the template, so the template can be removed if it is no longer required. The same holds true for Site Templates.
Yes, the template can be removed.
One more thing, if you dont want delete the List template or having some fear than you can hide it from UI. in Template just hide it.

But is you have the list definition than its different story.
