1chiro, none of the applications you have listed have anything to do with a digitizer problem. Furthermore, your digitizer problem has absolutely nothing to do with Hotsync. Please confine your issue to one thread in an appropriate forum, you are making everyone else's ability to help you harder by your actions.

TS4002 Messages older than 30 days in inbox are not moved to deleted items when removed.
I've had a few messages that were stored in my inbox and were older than 30 days. I've noticed that when I actually delete them they aren't moved to Deleted Items (and sat for 30 days before permanently deleted). It seems that the actual date of the email is being used to calculate the age and not the time it sits in deleted items.
If deleted email isn't being moved to the trash you might want to go to icloud.com from your computer, open mail, click on the gear-shaped icon on the top right and choose preferences, then confirm on the General tab that you have checked "Move deleted messages to" and selected "Tash" from the drop-down list.

Outlook 2010 messages that have not been deleted are available in Recover deleted Items list
Hello,
Outlook 2010\Exchange 2010 SP1-clustred
I have looked at several mail accounts through Outlook 2010 client, they are not using the cached mode, they have not emptied the trash.
When I look in Recover deleted items I am seeing messages, mostly sent messages that are available for recovery, the problem is that these messages have not been deleted, they are
still in the sent folder.
I have restored one to see what will happen, it does restore to the deleted items folder.
It seems to random messages some sent to groups some sent to a single individual
Some Outlook 2010 clients I have checked do not show this problem, but several do including myself, I would have assumed that the Outlook 2010 client user had somehow deleted
it and restored it causing this problem if I did not see this on my own account.
Is this normal behavior? Perhaps some from replication or temp draft's
Any help or information would be appreciated.
ThanksSince the post is over two year old, I'm not sure manotelli is still following it, but I think he is talking about something else:
1. He starts a message and does not complete it (or send it).
2. The message is saved as a draft pending completion.
3. Once he completes the message and sends it, there is an autosaved version that is deleted.
I'm not sure what relationship exists between the "draft" which (I would think) is what is ultimately sent when the message is completed and whatever is sent to the recycle bin.
It has nothing to do with webmail (OWA) or any form of remote access.

Deleted item and message in purchase order
Hi !
When I delete a item in a purchase order (ME22N), this deleted item doesn't appear in the message (category message = NEU). How make to appear the deleted item ?
thanks a lot
JoelHi,
This is a general practice that once a item is deleted it will not be shown in the message as it has no relance further which a vendor need not know. Accordingly the print programme has been configured. Also there is no necessity of appearnce of the deleted item in the print out as what purpose it will serve. In any case the deletion record will be there in the system to trace such changes. If this need to be available in the message than the abap team should programme the print pogramme accordingly.

Hello.
I've been searching online for an answer and can't find one - hopefully someone can help...
I recently updated to Yosemite and decided on a general clear-out, so went through 1000's of documents, photos, emails, etc. I ended up deleting the all of the emails in my 'deleted items' folder. Since then, when I go into Outlook and hit the 'send/receive' tab it logs on as normal, but then gets stuck on 'updating message list' - it shows me that there are emails and how many, but will not download them.
Does anyone have any experience of this?
Many thanks! As Outlook, part of MS Office, is not an Apple product, I strongly recommend asking in the Microsoft Office:Mac forums here:
Office for Mac
Everyone there is a Mac user AND an Office user, something you can't say about Apple's forums. You will get the fastest help there and I think you will find the contributors more than helpful. -
I created retention policies that are working as expected for Inbox, Sent and Drafts folders. However, I created a similar policy for Deleted Items: (New-RetentionPolicyTag “test-DeletedItems-Retention” –Type DeletedItems –Comment “Items older than
90 days are deleted” –RetentionEnabled $true –AgeLimitForRetention 90 –RetentionAction PermanentlyDelete). The messages that existed in the Deleted Items folder prior to implementing the policy do not appear to have any retention policy applied to them, so
it appears that they will retain in Deleted Items indefinitely.
Please advise.
Sincerely
Derek BainWill,
Please see the results below. The output is similar for the 3 other tags that I created for Inbox, Sent, and Drafts.
Sincerely
Derek

Deleted items contain no message, or attachment, just the headers
in my deleted items folder almost all the messages are blank except for the headers.
How can I stop this happening?
Can I get the messages back?
Thanks.
arkidentiIt is likely that the PDFs you created did not have the fonts embedded and somehow the font recognition was changed. Anyway, you can likely select some text that needs to be fixed and right click for the properties. Then select the proper font and ask it to embed the font.
Another option would be to save the PDF as a DOC file and work from there. Extra work, but might be faster and safer in the long run. Editing PDF files is not really good and may actually be more work than recreating the original DOC file. If you work with style sheets, the recreation might actually go fairly fast.
As far as Acrobat and the problem, do you have a machine available with AA6 that you mentioned? If so, try it there too before you conclude you just need to back up. -
Deleted items from Ipod Nano to make room for new. Emptied trash. Still getting error message when I try to copy items from ITunes to Ipod. What should I do now?
If you delete songs (and other items) from the main iTunes library, yes, you need to empty the Trash because iTunes puts the song files into the Trash. When deleting items from an iPod, the items are not being deleted from the main iTunes library, so nothing should end up in the Trash.
Hopefully, you are not deleting items from your main iTunes library, just to sync those deletions from the iPod. If you are, there is a better way. You can post back if you want more info... -
In email (gmail) when I delete a message in one of my email accounts inbox and then close email, the next time I open email for that account all of the deleted messages reappear in my inbox. My email settings are to move all deleted messages to Trash upon closing email but but that doesn't work in one of my email accounts. It works fine in another gmail account I have. How do I get rid of the emails I wish to delet permanantly?
I am wondering if anyone is seeing my question? This is my first time and I am not sure if I am communicating correctly. If you are seeing the question above regading deleted messages reappearing please reply so I will at least know I am getting the message out.
Thank you. -
Has anyone see this before? – using a PHP script to send mail (uses SMTP authentication). For me it works perfect, for my client (who has Outlook 2010) the email goes direct to the Deleted Items folder. I’ve not seen that behaviour before.
I have Outlook 2007 and it seems fine on that.
Email is plain text, from address is in ‘Always allow..’ list – there is a ‘Reply-To’ header which is set to the email of the contact which is different to the ‘From’ and ‘Sender’ headers which are
set to the clients email address. The conversation has not been 'ignored'.
To muddy the water, script is installed on another server and it works fine from there to my client.
Is there anyway of determining how Outlook 2010 recognises what is Junk and what is not?
Any ideas?
Thanks
AdgeI have the same problem - user has Outlook 2010 on Exchange 2007. Mail goes directly into the deleted items folder. After browsing around the net I found 2 different site with the same potential fix. It seems that when migrating a user from Exch 2003 to
2007 (which we did) some of the configs get set incorrectly. The weird thing is we migrated over 2 years ago, and some others are experiencing the same after a long period after the migration. The fix that was suggested is:
Go to your Exch server, open up Exchange Management Shell and type the following:
get-mailboxcalendarsettings "domain/ou/user" | fl
set-mailboxcalendarsettings "doman/ou/user" -automateprocessing: Autoupdate
My user already had Autoupdate set, but this seems to have fixed it for me... -
How to delete the messages in the purges folder?
if the mailbox is enabled the single item recovery, then the messages would move from deletion folder to the purges folder After running the following script,
Search-Mailbox dave -searchdumpsteronly
-deletecontent
so my question is how to delete the messages in the purges folder with some script or retention policy?
Please click the Mark as Answer button if a post solves your problem!Thank you all,
As the mailbox is enabled single item recovery.
I just want to make the items neither in deletion folder, nor in purges folder.
So I think there are two ways to achieve this.
Method 1,disabled the single item recovery. then delete the items in deletion folder ,so it wouldn't enter to the purges folder, it just deleted permanently. then enable the single item recovery
Method 2,delete the items in deletion folder, then the messages move to the purges folder, then delete the messages in purges folder.
the Method 1 is not so good ,as it need to disable the single item recovery firstly, then enable single item recovery .
So I want to use the Method 2

How do I get my deleted emails to go to the deleted items in Outlook and not the archived folder?
Who is the email account provider?
With an Apple iCloud account, there is a preference setting with the account settings on the iPhone to archive messages - save deleted messages in your Archive folder.
I believe the same is available with a Gmail account. -
Items are not moved to the deleted items folder when they expire
Hey
I have Exchange 2010 Server (Version: 14.01.0438.000) and configured a retention policy with one retention tag for the
inbox that moves items after 365 days to the deleted items folder. I have assigned this policy to one Mailbox to see if it works. It doesn't. :)
All Items are "stamped" correctly with a expiry date. And the Messages show now "This item is expired" for example:
I made the Policy a week ago and waited to see if the items will be moved but nothing happen until today. The Application Log shows no errors or warnings. I already used "Start-ManagedFolderAssistant"
multiple times....
what is wrong here? And how do i track the problem down?
i also checked all the other threads regarding the same or alike issues. But couldn't find anything that would halp me.Get-RetentionPolicyTag

I just replaced some "critical information" with *****
Also the Policy is defently applied. I checked with:
Get-Mailbox -ResultSize unlimited | Format-Table Name,RetentionPolicy -Auto -
This is happening with random users but not all.
User receives voice mail in outlook - deletes from inbox
On unity connection the voice mail remains in the connection inbox.
Now on other users the deleted VM is moved to deleted items in connection as expected and works just fine.
Unity Connection 9.1
Exchange 2010
Any ideas? I ran a re-sync on the unified messaging accounts and a reset but it still does not seem to be working for those select users.I suspect you are enable Exchange cache mode and delete items offline.
If no, please recreate a new Outlook profile and check if the issue still persists. Thanks.
