    I had done all the steps to do for deleting my account . What else i do for the delete ?

    Apologies the instructions are not clear ... Skype Customer Services uses a web form; when we complete the various stages, we will see a box where we can type notes and more detailed information.  When we click "send," that is the same as sending an e-mail to Skype Customer Service.
    Please note, you may have to try several times to reach Skype Customer Service as I have read people can experience problems reaching them on the first time: try again using a different web browser, and look to approve a browser pop-up dialogue box for Skype's Customer Service instant message chat system.

  • I cannot delete my account. Please delete it!

    I would like to delete my Skype account. Please provide me confirmation that it has been done.
    The Help menus for Skype is aweful! All I want to do is delete my account. Skype's website does not readily have available the information to delete the account in your account settings. To get ANY information you have to dig through the help menu. Once you found the page to delete the account it says "Contact Customer Service". You click on the link and it brings you to the community! I don't want the community/ forums, I want to talk to Skype directly and delete my account! Just provide an email that we can write to to have our account deleted!

    I am assuming that this mail is coming into the Mail App, not another third party app, correct?
    Is the AOL account showing up as its own mailbox in the mail app? (e.g. I see "All inboxes", "iCloud", and a third mailbox that is my second email address.)
    Every "mailbox" except the "all inboxes" are going to be in the settings under mail, Contacts and calendars.
    If the mail is coming into a mailbox that isnt the AOL mailbox, then it sounds like you have your AOL mail being forwarded to another email adress.

    Removing an account name from the directory is the equivalent to "deleting" an account.  The fine details:
    -> deleting an account does not pull or retract previous call or message history from the removed account or others with whom the removed account has corresponded or called.
    -> an account name is never recycled; if it were truly "deleted," this could become a huge problem if someone else were to start using a retired or "deleted" account name.  Once the account name is established or created, it is yours.

  • Skype won't delete my account and remove my Skype ...

    The issue: I wish to delete my Skype account and also have my Skype name removed from the Skype directory.
    Why: I am using another Skype account with a very similar Skype name. I don’t want people to select the wrong name when they add me. Apart from this, it is my wish, my choice to have just 1 Skype name in the directory, not 2. 
    First and foremost it is a disgrace that as a Skype user I cannot delete my own account (including Skype name from the Skype directory) if and whenever I wish to do so. You have to ask Skype to do it for you. But do you get any help? No, none what so ever!
    The first thing I tried was Live chat. A complete waste of time. Then I submitted a support request. In response to my request I received an email from Skype Customer Service in which I was asked to provide the following details.
    1. Country creation.
    2. Year and Month of creation.
    3. Registered email address.
    4. Please provide us 3 Skype Names of your contact list.
    In reply I sent a substantiated email with as much detail as possible.
    1. Country of creation I provided.
    2. I replied I could not remember the year, let alone the month I created my account. I did provide 2 possible years. There is no way to check the year and month. And Skype does not provide this info on your Skype account. So what then?
    3. Registered email address same thing. I replied it could be 1 of 3 of the following email addresses I might have used when I registered. I also pointed out that I had changed my primary email address since registering. So again, how can you check your registered email address when Skype does not provide this info on your Skype account? Or do they mean the primary email address you are using now? Then be specific and say so!
    4. I replied I had no contacts remaining in my contact list, because I had already blocked and deleted my contacts. I did offer to provide 3 blocked contacts.
    I got the following astonishing reply.
    "Thank you for the information provided, we appreciate it. However, we are sorry as not all of the answers match the data stored in our systems. Based on this we cannot carry out the request for safety reasons.
    Please check your records and contact us again with the correct answers."
    What a rubbish service! Instead of helping me - I wonder if someone read my email at all - I get this standard reply telling me to check my records. Check which records? Check them where?
    Is there somebody out there who CAN help me?

    What do mean when you refer to my registered email address? The one I used when I originally registered or the primary email address I am using now (which I changed before my I submitted my request and which is non existing, because I want to delete my account)?
    Your Skype Account's Registered E-Mail Address is the one recorded or which appears in your account as the e-mail address Skype will use to send billing and payment or other account-related correspondence.   Occasionally you will receive promotional advertisements.   If the e-mail address is "fake" or "non-existing," then naturally you will receive no correspondence from Skype ... that said, if you want to discard the old account, then be sure to remember exactly what you input in that field so the customer srevice agents can match the information you provide with what appears on your account record.
    Also I got the question in which month and year I created my account. I dont remember! How/where can  I check this? My Skype account details do not provide this info.
    You are correct - the date your account was created does not appear in our account information.  You may contact Skype Customer Service separately to ask what this date is. 
    Skype Customer Service could ask any number of questions related to your account that they would expect you would be able to answer.

  • How do you stop the phone from attempting to logon to a deleted email account?

    When I first got my phone Skype video was not available so I opened a Yahoo email account so that I could use them for video calls.  I got frustrated with the phone in that about half of the time that I turned it on it would tell me that it couldn't connect to the Yahoo servers due to an invalid password.  Other times it would connect successfully.
    I went to the default email app and found an option to delete the Yahoo account.  I even went to the Yahoo web site and deleted the email account from there. 
    I thought that I had successfully deleted the account but now I get a message that the phone can't access the Yahoo servers every time I turn the phone on.  Any ideas on how to stop the phone from attempting to access the Yahoo email servers?
    I've checked and the email app doesn't list Yahoo and I can't find any reference to Yahoo in the apps section.

    Nevermind, I fixed it (I think).  I went into Settings | Accounts & Sync and found Yahoo at the bottom of the list (alphabetically).  I selected it and it had an optiion to delete the account, which I did.

    I deleted an old account a long time ago. I got support from an "agent" using the instant messaging system that Skype has on their website where you can get help right on the spot. My question is if I deleted the account, is it possible to be recovered or is it lost? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated and thank you very much in advance.

    Removing or deleting an account is a one-time, irrevocable request.  You could contact Skype Customer Service to explain the circumstances surrounding why you need the account back in service, however to the best of my understanding, this is not possible.
