Delete navigation list

Hi,
Apex Version - Application Express 3.0.1.00.08
I have a number of navigation lists in an application that I have been working on. I now want to delete some of them but am having difficulty seeing how.
Would anyone know how to do this?

I'm assuming by navigation lists you mean you have created Lists and want to delete these, rather than wanting to delete a region from a page. To delete the list, if you go to Shared Components > Lists and select the list you wish to delete. On this screen click the Edit List button and there's a delete button on this page. This will delete the list and the list entries.

Delete application list

Anybody know how to delete application lists using the APEX API?
For my application I need the ability to generate pages and navigation lists using the APEX API.
I know there are the functions wwv_flow_api.create_list and wwv_flow_api.create_list_item
to build a list but I can't seem to find any similar functions to remove them in the first place.
I can access the tables they are stored in directly and delete them from there but then I need
to specify the table owner (in my case FLOWS_030100) as there are no public synonyms or
key-preserved views on those tables.

I will use a batch, of course, wich sould delete the applications and then import them all over again. Hmm, so, you would say that this is possible only from the GUI? This again bears no relevance to this thread. You are now talking about deleting applications, not deleting lists within applications. I would suggest starting a new thread for your new question.
A few points to get you started:
- An application export is just sql script which you can run outside of the APEX UI. See Scott's post here with details:
Import application manually
- As Scott says, if your importing applications in this way, you'll need to make sure the workspace ID of the target workspace is the same as the workspace that you exported the application from. (Easiest way to do this is by exporting the workspace from the source and importing it to the target).
- If you import an application that has the same ID as one which already exists in a workspace, then this will overwrite it anyway, so you don't need to actually delete anything.

Display tags; the place of pagesize navigation lists.

If I write like below,

</display:table>The page navigation list appeares top of the table.
I want to put this list to buttom of the table.
Are there any suggestions??

1 question:
Is it so necessary to show only 4 records on each page?
I'm asking because if you show all of them on say, Overview.jsp page, you can place there checkboxes by selecting which you get the records that you want to manipulate(delete or whatever you want)
And haven't you tried to use Struts?

"Navigation List" returns "JBO-25051"

I'm having a little trouble with a simple "Navigation List" built on a View collection.
I have the drop-down populated ok, but when I push an execute button (delete) I get a JBO-25051 Row of range index 0 is not found in RowSetIterator UserAlertsAvailable..
Do I need to make the selection active in some way before I do anything?

set the PCD permissions of com.sap.ip.collaboration (or something like this) for the group "Everyone" to allow End User permissions.
You have to check "End User" for the group Everyone.

How can I delete the list of watched videos on my iPad?

I have been watching videos on my ipad through the iTunes "home sharing" feature. It seems to work fine.
My problem is that I can't figure out how to delete the list (on the iPad) of videos that have been watched. Not only have I watched them but I have also deleted them from my iTunes movies list. I have tried syncing, signing out and back in to the iTunes store, turning off home sharing and then turning it back on again (which requires signing back in), all the while quitting out of the videos app and /or restarting the iPad before and after each of these steps.
The videos are shown as greyed-out icon/thumbnails in the iPad videos app. I am able to add new videos to iTunes, see them as not-greyed-out icons in the iPad app, and watch them. I just can't delete the shown list of the watched videos list on the iPad, which in the case of TV shows collect quite quickly and require lots of scrolling to get to the unwatched video icons.

Yes, so...
I have also closed iTunes, reset network settings on the iPad, then shut down and restarted the iPad. Still, I end up with greyed out rectangular icons for all the movies I've ever streamed from my Mac Mini to my ipad via my home wireless router.
Again, I have watched all the way to the end of the movie, selcted the movie in iTunes and chosen "mark as watched", and then deleted it in ITunes.
Any ideas?

How to delete the list that comes up in Open Recent

I apologize because I know this has been answered before, but I cannot find the answer after quite a bit of searching in the forum. I'd like to delete the list that comes up when I choose File/Open Recent and I can't remember how to do that. Could someone please tell me? Thanks.

How to delete the list servers in the login essbase?

Is there any way to delete the list of essbase servers from checkbox in the essbase login dialog ?I want that the checbox is empty, because there is too many serves now ... how can i do it ?

Yes there is. Depending on your OS, its either in the registry or the essbase.ini file. More likely, the regedit. Unfortunately I can't check the key for you as I'm working on a pc with that part locked down and I can't remember it exactly.Do a search for "server", all the servers are listed there, near the CSL Global Options entry.Sorry couldn't give you the exact key.

How to populate Navigation List

I need to populate a navigation list with values obtained from an RFC.
Can I do this in the same way as populating DDBK?
The DDBK is linked to a Context Value Attribute, but the Navigation List is linked to a Context Node. The context value attribute linked to the DDBK is "addBusUnit". The context node linked to the Navigation List is "TeamList" with value attribute "Member". How would I change the following code(from the DDBK) so that it will work with the Navigation List?

To populate a NavigationList, bind the "itemSource" property to a context node and bind the other "item*" attributes to attributes inside that node. The item source may be a recursive node.
Say the item source node is named "NavItems" with attributes "FullName" and "PayCode". Then you may use code like

Navigation list issue with dynamic variable

I'm a little bit stock with (maybe) a little issue. I'm looking for a way to put variable on a navigation list in the same page. E.X. there is where my navigation list is pointing : f?p=&APP_ID.:20:&SESSION.::&DEBUG.::P20_3,P20_1,P20_2:#État#,#Année Comptable#,#Période Comptable#: .
I Need to inherit the value ( #État#,#Année Comptable#,#Période Comptable#:) from a sql query from the main region (list are in a subregion ).

Hmm.. on the last APEX SIG day in Belgium Oracle was very dark about that (as usual).
They even were not sure what features would definitely be present in the new version.
They did however expect it to be somewhere in october / november
again. you can mimic by using a report-region looking like a list

In which table deleted user list is stored

Hi all,
I have made one user ZTEST in sap through SU01. Its details has been stored in USR01 .
When i deleted this user than the details of this user has been deleted from the tables USR01.
After deletion on which table deleted user information is stored.
Any BAPI is available which sgives the deleted table list .

There is no table available in SAP to view the deleted user information. But you can connect to SQL & see the deleted user information.
I think the command " SQL>show recyclebin;" will show you the deleted user information.

ADF Navigation List and View Links . any tutorial for this subject ?

Its two day that i am looking in oracle web site and tutorials that are provided in oracled ADF books.
but i can not figure it out how i can user a Navigation List , view Link to insert record in a child table.
so far i just could create a page that when i change the Navigation List selected item and then refresh that page , the related Fields of child table filled with master table PK.
although i cheched and i saw that ComboBox (Navigation List) auto submit is true.
does any one has a clue about this ?

Delete a list in one shot

I'm using Hibernate 3 with Oracle 10, and in my next query I delete a list of objects one by one; I was wondering if it's possible to optimize my delete method so I delete the complete set of objects in one shot instead iterating my list of retrieved objects.
Please consider that I'm requested to maintain an ORM style so writing a delete sentence is not an option.

Can't add a blank row entry on to a navigation list dependable listbox

Need some help please!
I am trying to build two dependable selectOnechoice list boxes. i adopt Frank's method and built the top level list box as navigation list.
my problem is I can't set a unselectedlabel property for this top level list box. I tried to set a the unselectedlabel property in page definition, but when the page rendered , the list has always got one row selected as default, instead of a blank row.
Is there anyway that I can fix this?

this is because a navigation list is based on an iterator and the iterator always has a selected row.
