Delete of Element in Form for COPA line item report
Hello
I would like to change a form used for a COPA line item report - delete an element, which has been included for years. Unfortunately I got message, that 'You cannot delete, because element xxx is dependent'.
If I insert a new element if have no problems to delete it afterwards.
Can anybody help me?

Hi,
To my knowledge, you cannot delete the element until you assign the new one in the form if only single element is assigned.
In case anymore element is there, there can be possibility this element is taken into consideration for making formula.

Changes in MM02 not reflecting in COPA lin item report

In my project during data conversion material was grouped wrongly. We realised it later once we started designing COPA reports. The material is used by seven company codes. The basic material group defined in basic data is used by all company codes while Material group 1,2,3 4 and 5 are used by company specific defined in sales orgs 2 View in MM master(MM01).
I am designing report for three companies by using material group 1,2,3,4 and 5.
We tried changing the material group 1,2,3,4 and 5 for wrongly grouped materials in MM02. But in COPA report these changes are not reflecting. The grouping in report is still as per the data conversion grouping.
Please suggest on how should we rectify our material grouping to reflect in COPA report.

in COPA reports characteristics are read from the COPA tables, they are not dynamically derived at the time of executing the report. In the COPA tables oyu will find the characteristic as derived at the moment of posting the line item.
If the characeristic that you want to rectify is in the definition of your your COPA segments - which you can check through TC KEQ3 - then there is possibility to carry changed master data over to past COPA data.
TC KEND allows you change the existing COPA segments according to current master data. However, it will not make changes to table CE1XXXX, where COPA line items are stored, but changes happen on the segment level (CE4XXXX).
This means that you always see the changes in COPA reports that read from segments, but not in line item based reports.
To change your output from line item based reports I see no other possibilty but to make correcting entries in CE1XXXX using KE21N or KEFC.
If you should consider using KEND please read the documentation for "realignment". It can create problems, for example if you have a SAP BW that is delta-updated from CE11XXX. Also your summarization levels for COPA have to be rebuilt after KEND. -
Display COPA line item report-KE24
Hi Experts,
Do we get the correct COPA line items by using the standard transaction code KE24. Is this report is useful to compare the values of the report KE30 which we define.

The purpose of a COPA report is to analyse KPIs like Gross Contr 1, Net Profit of a Product, etc... This purpose cant be served by KKE24, as it just displays the values as posted... So, to me, KE24 does not make much sense

WBS Element on AR/AP Line Item Report
Hi All
When I run the FBL1n report for a vendor who has a PO which has a WBS element - I dont see the WBS element coming up on the line item report(s).
Although the field is there on the layout - it is not picking the WBS Element into the report - can anyone please tell me why this is and how I can get this field to fill with values...

If you had activated Project Cash Management, you can try report CJIA which can substitute the report line item wise list for a particular project or for a Particular Vendor.
Why the standard system is not showing WBS because, a single Vendor line can be posted against multiple expense so system cannot determine which WBS to be shown in the report so it is left blank in reports, this will be applicable for Purchase order no, Cost Centers, WBS etc.
As suggested by Suresh you can use the BTE 1650, but it will keep one WBS in the line even you have multiple WBS elements used for the document posting.
For Ex
Expense 1 Dr 1000- WBS 1
Expense 2 Dr 1000- WBS 2
Expense 3 Dr 1000- WBS 3
Vendor A Cr 3000
Against Vendor line item A - it will show WBS 1 alone.As there is no standard solution you can use BTE if your are satisfied with the above example or you have to activate Project Cash management to find the exact reporting but in different reporting structure.

Through BTE1650 you can fetch it . for this you have to do some development.
You can add additonal field to FBL*N reports with using BTE exit.

Commitment Line Item report - BE and Settlement Unit issue
Dear experts,
Request your kind help.
This is with respect to viewing the commitment line item report in ECC 6 for RE-FX master data objects. There are two scenarios.
Scenario 1
Purchase requisition (PR) is created with a business entity (BE) as an Account Assignment object. After the PR is released the same is used to create a Purchase Order (PO). After the PO has been successfully created, I am running the Commitment Line Item report (REISCOLIBD) giving the BE number as a search parameter. The report shows perfectly the PO and the amount of commitment.
Scenario 2
Purchase requisition (PR) is created with a BE as a Account Assignment object. Further to that under the Settlement section, inside the RE Obj box I am also specifying the Service Charge Key, the Settlement Unit and the Ref Date. After the PR is released the same is used to create a Purchase Order (PO). After the PO has been successfully created, I am running the Commitment Line Item report (REISCOLIBD), again by mentioning only the BE number as the input parameter. This time the report does not show the PO at all under commitment line items and instead gives the message "no line items were selected". But here is the catch. When I am running the transaction KSB2 and I am clickng on 'further selection criteria' and then 'Ref Doc num' and then typing the PO number and then running the report, it shows the result perfectly.
Can someone please tell me why in the second scenario, the transaction REISCOLIBD is failing to capture the data related to commitment line items?

Deleting and Adding components in a Sub contracting PO, for every line item
Hi,
I have requirement where in I need to change the Item category from Blank to 'L' for a given Line item, and for this Line Item I need to go to the Delivery Schedule lines and delete the existing Components and add new components to every Delivery Schedule line. This is going to be a LSMW object with a custom program.
I tried for recording ME22N, but couldn't do this as ME22N is not BDC friendly, and in ME22 the Item category field is Display only. I also tried with Function modules/BAPIs but nothing seems to be working out.
Can anybody help me get a solution to this requirement. Would appreciate a quick response as its a priority requirement for me.

2. There will be two seperate production versions for these two materials.
3. Update respective production versions in respective subcontracting info-records.

1) Ensure that Cost element is created for the GL Account to which transaction is posted.
2) Maintain PA Transfer structure for the Cost element Created above i.e. Flow of values from FI to COPA (T CODE: KEI2)

Line item report on secondary cost element (cat - 21)

Secondary cost element with category 21 is used for internat settlement from order to wbs or wbs to cost center. But can we see line item report on this cost element. Or we cannot see any line item report on this cost element. it is just used for internal settlement purpose.

I hope you can have line item report @ order and WBS element stright away...
for orders use: KOB1 transaction code for actual line items, where you have the facility of entering CE or CE group to find the vaues related to particular cost elements in the order. If you are flexible with CEs related to 21, give there otherwise create a CE group specific to 21 category and enter the group and find the results you want.
same way for WBS elements/projects: we have transaction code CJI3 for actual line items, here also we can enter CE or CE groups
Not only for actual line items, we have the option of viewing plan line items, budget line items, and commitment line items @ both order and WBS level with different transaction codes other than mentioned above, like KOB2, KOB3, CJI4, CJI2 etc

BAPI_PR_CREATE for Service line items only
Hi All,
We are unable to create the Purchase Requistion Order using the BAPI_PR_CREATE for Service line items.
The Error Message 436(06) " In case of account assignment, please enter acc. assignment data for item" is always received with respect to Account Assignment.
We are currently using ECC 6.0 EHP 4. SAP instance to create the Purchase requisition order.
We already did this analysis and came to this include previously for the Error Message 436(06) and could find thatt the accounting tables are not filled.
Also, the accounting items table is refreshed and deleted in 3 places in the code.
We did put debug on that u2026 but during debug, the control does not go to these places.
I suppose there is some other major functionality related to Service PR is missing in the BAPI_PR_CREATE.
Also we are unable to find the detailed documentation.

if VBKD-BSTKD_E = 3011192 is like 4 records in excel means for these 4 should be one SO
if it is changed to 3011193 then only different SO.

Instead of using BDC , why dont you make use of BAPI.
As you are on ECC, you can make use of BAPI BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2
Collect all your records based on PO # and pass them into line item table structure ORDER_ITEMS_IN.
*--Logic something like this.
loop at it_exceldata into l_line.
loop at it_exceldata into l_so where bstkd_e eq l_line-bstkd.
*This will loop at all the same PO#
*collect the data related into corr tables. and append
endloop.
*Now you are outside the loop.
*Call the BAPI to update this SO
delete it_exceldata where bstkd_e eq l_line-bstkd_e.
endloop.
Also pass all the necessary data to header structure ORDER_HEADER_IN
Do not check for Sy-subrc at the end of execution.
Instead read the Return table with message type 'A' or 'E whichi means there is an error/abort in BAPI execution.
Remember to expicitly COMMIT_WORK after succesfull execution of BAPI using BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT
