Delete on handheld only not possible on Q10

anyone know how to delete on handheld only on the Q10 - some things are easier to work from a tablet or laptop and dont want them crowing my handheld..

At this time there is no way to delete only on the handheld. The Q10 and Z10 devices are true email clients, different than the old BIS system we used to know. Deleting on the handheld will delete from the server.

Deleting external calendars is not possible

it's not possible to delete external calendars; they only dissapear shortly after pushing the delete-button. Then they appear and the never ending sync process goes on.

If you are trying to disable the guest account, you must "unlock the padlock" towards the bottom left of the page where you manage your accounts. Then, you can hit the - sign after you type in your password

Selective Deletion from Infocube Only (Not from Aggregates)

Hi,
For the Selective Deletion, i used the FM 'RSDRD_SEL_DELETION' in program. But this FM deletes the data first from Infocube then from aggregate.Because of this, deletion took more time to delete and adjust the Aggregate.
I need an way in which i can delete the data from Infocube only and after i reach to my reconcile period then i will deactivate and actiavted the aggregate, so the data will be consistent in Infocube and aggregate.
is there any to Delete(Selective Deletion) the data only from the Infocube not from its aggregate (for the Performance Point of View)?

If you want to delete data from FM only, then try to deactivate your aggregates before you start your selective deletion.
Once deletion is done, you can reload the aggregates

Itunes file deleted now iphone sync not possible

possibly some tmp fille, accoding to some information I gathered on the web.
I did an disk utility repair permssion run through w no success.
Also itunes updates are not possible anymore
the Iphone sync goes will till step 6 then I get the error message.
Im not computer savy, should I erase Itunes (if that is possible) and dowload it again?

Within the BlackBerry Hub / Display and Actions, the "Delete On" option is only partially working.
For example: If we select 'prompt' as the 'delete on' action the following works:
Highlight a message, delete, and then the prompt appears ' Delete from Hub, or Delete from Hub and server'. We can select 'Delete from Hub' and it leaves a copy of the message on the exchange server and in the users outlook.
If we select 'prompt' as the 'delete on' action the following fails:
Choose 'More', 'select more' and pick one or more messages and delete, it fails to prompt and deletes the messages from the handheld and the server (and of course outlook too).
Is this a known issue? Its hard for users who get hundreds of messages and want to delete them from their blackberry's to clean them up, but want to keep them in outlook.

Deletion of Document templates not possible - 'Ok' 'Cancel' not displayed

Hello,
I want to delete a few Document templates. I use the business role 'SALESPRO', I go to 'Document Templates', choose a template, press the button 'Delete' (icon garbage bin) and a I get a pop-up window but without the buttons 'OK', 'Cancel' .
The pop-up is empty not even the title 'Confirm Deletion'.
Why's that ?
Any hints on how I could tackle this ?

I was about to post the solution. I discovered that component but the code did not even go to DO_PREPARE_OUTPUT.
The solution was to 'Disable Cookies' (marked this checkbox in the technical profile associated with the business role).
I got the idea to try this after I came across a method get_server_cookie that could not read the cookie previously set by set_server_cookie (to this extent I came to debug .

Deletion of schedule line not possible.

We have an issue on Plant A that there is a schedule line for Plant B u2013 yet there is no requirement on Plant B. User can not seem to delete that line.How to delete that line.

If u have access to SE14 Transaction code, give the E-table name and select Edit button.
There select Background radio button, Select delete data & click on Activate & Adjust database button.
similarly do it for F- fact table too.

Deleting confirmation not possible for particular PO item.

Dear experts,
we are on an SRM 5.0 server 550 with a classic scenario.
We are experiencing some problems when deleting confirmations on 1 certain process.
case:
- puchase order created with 1 item (10 pieces)
- confirmation was created for 5 pieces.
- invoice was created for these 5 pieces.
- confirmation created for the following 5 pieces
- trying to delete the confirmation but not possible because the delete button is greyed out
Does anybody has an idea why we cannot delete such a confirmation? There is an invoice on the PO item, but only on the first 5 pieces, not on the last 5...

Check the followwing points:
-Tx_RZ20. Check under menu Confirmations for Backend errors.
-Check Idocs exchanged. Check Outbound IDOCS(Type MBGMCR) in SRM an Inboudn Idocs in the backend.
-Check GR in Tx BBP_PD. Search using Object Type: BUS2203 and GR number. Search for alerts in the GR.
There is a recurrent root cause for the "GR error in process": Posting Date locked". You could try to change posting date to the currente date in th GR and confirm again.

Delete mailbox only, not AD account

There is an AD account named Domain\User1 which has an associated mailbox (User1).
I would like to delete the mailbox ONLY, not the AD account. I will then recreate a new, blank, mailbox for User1.
Does anyone know how this is possible with Exchange 2007? With 2003, you could delete a mailbox only via ADUC, but can't see a way to do this in 2007 EMC.

From your description, you should disable the mailbox and it will keep the user account and without a mailbox. And when you remove a mailbox in EMC, it will remove the user account in ADUC.

Follow these instructions to uninstall MacKeeper. They have been tested with the most recent version of MacKeeper. Earlier versions than the one released in 2012 require more extensive work to uninstall all its components. Never install such junk on a Mac.
If you actually used MacKeeper to alter your system, e.g. "remove excess binaries" or such, you will need to reinstall OS X as well as all your additional software. Uninstalling MacKeeper is insufficient to reverse the corruption it is capable of - once again, that is if you used it.
If you merely installed MacKeeper but did not use it to perform any particular action, the following instructions will suffice.

Have you upgraded to iPhoto 9.6 for compatibility with Yosemite? If not, try that first.
It looks like iPhoto has lost the connection between the thumbnails and the original image files.
This can be caused by a corrupted iPhoto library, or the originals have been deleted or moved.
Try first to rebuild your iPhoto Library:
If you do not have a current backup of the iPhoto library, make a copy of the library, but do not overwrite any previous backup.
Launch iPhoto with the ⌥⌘-key combination (option-command) held down.
Select "rebuild" from the first aid panel. This may take a while for a large library.
Can you now see your photos again?

If i select some photos to delete, my iPhone tells me that these photos will also deleted in the iCloud.
This is not my goal, i want safe these photos in the iCloud.

Go into your camera roll and create an album and then select the pictures you want in the album. Note you will have the same pics in your album and camera roll.

Issue with New OS 10.2.1.537 and "Delete On" with "Handheld Only"

With the new setting "Delete On" set to "Handheld Only", the following scenarios will delete messages from both the Handheld, AND THE SERVER:
1) Using "Delete Prior" to delete all messages prior to a selected date.
2) Using "Select More" option to select multiple messages, and then choose "Delete".
In both of these scenarios, the "Delete On" setting for the mailbox/account is not being honoured, and instead, is always deleting these messsage from both the Server and the handheld.
Only when individual messages are chosen one at a time (opened or selected individually in the Hub), and deleted, is the "Delete On" setting honoured.
This should not be the case.
Clearly, a user's expectation would be that the setting of "Delete On" should be honoured for any type of delete that occurs within the mailbox/account.

I didn't expect it as is, either, only confirming what you've stated.
I don't know if it is working as designed, or a bug.

Lets back up a bit and take things step by step so we all know exactly what's going on, and what you've tried and haven't tried.
First, what version of Windows are you using? The use simple file sharing is the very last option on my system (XP Pro) if you open Explorer and then use Tools > Folder Options > and select the View tab. This is also the tab where you will need to make hidden and system files visible, and I strongly recommend showing extensions for known file types as well. As far as I know this option (not to use simple file sharing) is available in XP home, too.
Second, once you've taken care of the first part, please do a search using the search in Windows Explorer, for *.joboptions under all files and be sure to select more options to search hidden and system files. You may find these files in more than one location, but the bulk of them will be in \Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Adobe PDF\Settings (note that this is the same directory as the one in the tree called "shared documents" -- I have no idea why the name is displayed differently in the folder tree than in the path in the address bar). Right click on one of those and select "Open Containing Folder" option.
The folder should open in a new window. Click the go up one level button in the toolbar (looks like a folder with an upward arrow on it), then right-click the settings folder icon and select either Properties or Sharing and Security (both open the properties dialog) and click on the security tab.
At this point, in all probability, the allow options are all grayed out because they should be inherited from the parent object. On my system the only user listed is "everyone" and they have full control. If yours is different, please let us know, and we'll go from there. If it's the same we'll try something different.

From the box the iphone came in:

You will need Mac OS 10.5.8 or later in order to get itunes 10.5 or later, in order to connect your iphone.
