Delete or edit name for a ringtone?

Just got a KIN2m and have enjoyed it so far. The only issue I've found is being unable to edit the name or delete a ringtone. I see lots of comments here on it so thought it deserved a thread.
Anyone know a way? Thanks.

Unfortunately, the Kin phones cannot currently delete or rename ringtones. So, as far as ringtones that you've already put onto the phone, they're there to stay. Although, you can overwrite ringtones on the phone if you save a new ringtone under the same name. I posted a more detailed 'explanation' on how i manage my ringtones in my main FAQ page.

Toshiba 32W1333DN: buttons moving/deleting/edit name for channels missing

Hello,
I just bought 32W1333DN in Sweden.
But I cannot change the position of channels in the channel list.
Both the Quick start guide that comes in the box with the TV and the online manual has images and details about how to move channels/delete channels and edit channel names in the channel list.
I am supposed to go into
Menu->Channel List->Edit Channel List.
Once there I select channels and perform tasks by selecting buttons.
But those buttons are not there where I look at my TV.
Instead of buttons for *OK* / *Move* / *Delete* / *Edit name* / *Lock* I only have *OK* / *Lock*.
What is going on?
In settings, Program version is *V.2.1.4A*, and Software upgrade *V.2.1.9x*.

Page 17 provides info about Channel List, Sorting Programmes and Programme Locking.
For example to move the single channel in the list you should do the following:
The channel order may be changed to suit your personal preference.
Select Channel List from the main menu and press OK button.
Select Edit Channel List to manage all stored channels. Use Up or Down and OK buttons to select Edit Channel List.
Select Move option in the channel list and press OK button.
Edit Number screen will be displayed. Enter the desired channel number by using the numeric buttons on the remote control. If there is a previously stored channel on that number, a warning screen will be displayed. Select Yes if you want to move the channel and press OK.
Selected channel is now moved.

I cannot delete any contacts from my I phone 4. It is not indicating any delete or edit button for contacts.

I tried to delete some old unnwanted contacts from my I phone. But it does not show the delete or edit option in the contact list page.

My settings are fine. I believe the issue is because there is a typo in the email address to the person I am trying to send the email to. I am trying to open the email to correct typo but every time I try to open the email I get a message saying, "Cannot open email, email is being sent." I also cannot delete this email either.

Howto delete Resource Provider Name for a database persistence provider?

Hi,
I have performed the steps successfully given here: http://mike-lehmann.blogspot.com/2006/09/simple-mdb-with-oracle-database-jms.html
Now, I need to do a clean up for this complete task. I have been able to do so completely sans one problem that if I want to do it again, the Resource Provider Name is visible in EM.
The steps I have taken to to clean the task are:
1. Undeployed the MDB application.
2. Deleted the data source
3. Deleted the connection pool
4. Undeployed the RA (doing so the JMS destination also got deleted)
5. Deleted the JMSUSER schema/user completely.
My environment is RH4 Update 5 + AS 10.1.3.1.0 [J2EE Server+ Web Server] + 10.1.3.3 patch.
Can someone please let me know how to remove the Resource provider name also?

In addition to the steps highlighted above, the value for the Resource Provider Name was persisting in the application.xml file. Once it is deleted, OC4J instance restarted, all works fine.

Succession Planning 3.0 - Job Competencies - Hide Delete and Edit button

Hi,
In the detail panel of Job, there is a tab for Competencies.
How do I hide the Delete and Edit button for each of the competency that is in the listing?
I tried the file enable_actions.xsl and change the value to False.

<xsl:variable name="enable_delete_competency">false</xsl:variable>
This remove the Delete and Edit button in the Job details, but it also remove the buttons in employee details.
I want to keep the button in Employee Details.

I copied sap_competencies_xsl.xsl to zzsap_competencies_xsl.xsl
Then i changed the value
"$enable_delete_competency = 'na'"
Then, in sap_job_to_competencies.xsl

I am not sure how this works but it seems that it may be all or nothing.
To turn off Facebook events on your device:
Settings > Facebook > Calendars > Off

so from the above markup the name field is not part of the edit form,, i think this is because the Name is part of the Document content type and not part of the enterprisewiki content type .. so is there a way to add the name field to the edit
form ?.
second question, the edit form will show all the content type fields such as ; standard, document type, department , title (display in search), etc so what is the best way to remove these fields from the custom edit form ?

This can only be done by adding VBScript to the form. It would basically be:
Sub Item_Open()
Item.GetInspector.SetCurrentFormPage "P.2"
End Sub
... where "P.2" would be what you named the page you want to display first.

Editing the Query name for all reports in PRD.

Dear All,
I have created 25 reports using Query Designer.We have moved all the reports to BI Production. And Clients are using these reports using the Tool Bex Analyser.
Every time they are navigating through open Query -> Info Areas -> Data targets and Query.
Instead of going this way, is there any other way to Open a query easily.
And they wants to modify the Report name and the Technical name for all the reports. Can we able to edit the Query name for all reports, or do i need to go for SAVE AS for all querys.
Pls Suggest.

Hi Ram,
1. For the first question; if it user specific query then ask the users to save them at the FAVORITES so that there is no need to go to the dataprovider specific.
Or they can create the reports as favorites user menu screen of that particular user.
2. In order to change the technical name and description of the queries goto RSZC t-code> give the source and target infoprovider as same> select queries>click on the reports>click on transfer selections-->
Then you get a screen to change the description and technical name.
But this is pertained to Infoprovider level.
You can see all the reports on the infoprovider (cube/ods).

Table name for WBS element deleted

If a WBS element is deleted , the corresponding object id which is internally created by the system is also deleted from the PRPS table,
Is there a way to find all the deleted WBS elements and what is the table name for the same.

1. Goto table PRPS with PSPNR = WBS number. Get field OBJNR.
2. With PRPS-OBJNR goto table JEST. You will have all status for this WBS element.

How To Provide More Informative Undo Presentation Names for Document Edits

Hopefully, I can state this clearly enough where people will know what I'm talking about.
I'm working on an app that makes use of JTextArea to provide display and editing capabilities for text files. I've registered an UndoableEditListener with the Document underlying the JTextArea, so that I can provide undo/redo capability for all the various edits.
Here's my problem, the edits sent to my listener are of the type AbstractDocument.DefaultDocumentEvent, and so they provide very little information about exactly what sort of event has taken place. IIRC, everything (cut, paste, typing, etc.) shows up as an insert or a removal. I'd like to be able to provide a better presentation name (e.g, "Undo Cut", "Undo Paste", etc.) for my undoable events than is provided by the AbstractDocument.DefaultDocumentEvent , but I'm not sure how exactly to go about this. Do I create my own edits that operate directly on the Document, and avoid the AbstractDocument.DefaultDocumentEvent altogether, or is there some easier way? Anyone have any experience trying to do this? Thanks.

That's exactly the problem: the information we need isn't available, and there's no way to reconstruct it, so let's have the client tell us what we need to know. What I'm proposing is an UndoManager that requires its client to notify it when an action is about to be performed, and again when the action is finished. Upon receiving the first notification, it creates a CompoundEdit with the presentation name that was provided in the notification. After that, any edits that come in via the undoableEditHappened() method get added to the CompoundEdit instead of directly to the undo stack. When it receives the second notification, the UndoManager ends the CompoundEdit and adds it to the undo stack. Here's a very simplistic example: public class SuperUndoManager extends UndoManager

OK....I'm stumped. The message you are seeing is typically there to protect someone from syncing with a different computer/iTunes account. Is there any way anyone else has used your iPad and possibly connected it to their computer?

I know this post is old, but I might just try this with iOS 8. I have outdated custom labels that annoy me, because I still seem them in the list as options. If I get desperate enough, I may try your solution.
