Wat hat do I do about these?

if they show up with a cloud then go into settings>music and turn off show all music
if there is no cloud then just swipe from left to righ over them to get the delete option

  • Is there a way to PERMANENTLY DELETE purchased songs from your iTunes/iTunes account

    Hi
I have 11 purchased songs in my iTunes library. Since iOS7 i have not been able to remove these songs from my 3rd party music player.
I would like to permanently remove these songs from my iTunes account, my iTunes, my iPhone. I don't want to see these songs appear on any of my devices ever again.
Is there a way to remove these purchases permanently so they are no longer available/associated with my account?
Please! Any help is appreciated, this is seriously annoying.

Turning off iCloud will not accomplish anything, unless you simply wish to sign out your AppleID for itunes adn app store. Then of course, you would not be able to purchase apps or other content.
Any itunes or App store purchases can be set to hidden, as ckuan instructs. These would not show up on your device. But no, there is not way to completely delete content purchases.
You can offer Apple feedback here, if you wish: http://www.apple.com/feedback/

While you can redownload most past purchases without charge, you can't redownload movies without paying again.  See Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519

  • In iTunes 11, what is the best way to delete the iTunes purchased song from my library after I create an aiff copy?

I use my MacBook Pro as a music server. After downloading a song from the iTunes store I create an AIFF copy in my laptop's iTunes  Library. I then delete the original purchased song from the library to avoid duplicates. In iTunes prior to version 11 I had no difficulties doing this. The purchased copy just went back to the cloud and awaited future download onto other devices  leaving the new AIFF copy in my laptop's library. In iTunes 11 it is not as easy. The purchased version wants to stay in my library even after it is  deleted. What is the best (simplest) process to delete the compressed copy completely from my laptop's library while leaving the Aiff version. However, I want the original version to be available in the cloud for download on my other devices. Quite often my efforts have resulted in hiding the song frm the cloud! Any suggestion.....?

I want higher resolution then afforded in the original download.
Then why are you converting iTunes purchases?
You cannot get higher resolution by converting  the original. This goes for converting anything, not just iTunes purchases.
Creating an AIFF will simply make the file 10 time as large with zero increase in quality.
Don't really want to debate value of creating the new version.
    Agreed.
You are simply wasting time and drive space converting iTunes purchases to AIFF.

It sounds like you and your husband are sharing an Apple ID, a version of iTunes on your computer, or both.
I recommend you share neither your Apple ID nor your version of iTunes.  You can still share music by using Store > Authorize this computer and enter your spouse's information.  But it sounds llike this sharing is the cause of your problem.

I have random songs that a have paid for but they just disappear, or cannot be downloaded and so on. Sometimes they are indexed wrongly, and can't be found because of that, no work around because also the search function of itunes has gotten totally unusable. Not much fun to be an apple user anymore. I once used to be a very loyal user. My first apple was a Macintosh SE and an image writer II.

  • Deleting iCloud songs from iPod Touch? Please!

    Hi,
The quick way of saying what I'm trying to do is delete and iCloud song from my iPod and the photo at the bottom will give you an idea of what Im talking about but...
I was working with an Apple person over the phone last night for my macbook but he ended up seeing 2 aerosmith songs under various artists because they were purchased from a movie soundtrack. What he did was change around the song information so that it would show up under Aerosmith. After doing this, the song did show up under Aerosmith but it also brought up the letters V and P which it also listed Aerosmith under. We did some searching and when we pulled the information for the 2 songs, we saw that in the copyright part (where we are unable to retype anything, the name Pamela Jetson came up which is why there is a P.
After that we deleted the songs from iTunes but now I'm trying to do this from my iPod so that hopefully this will go, but it will only put a cloud next to it and not fully delete it. I could try looking back at my old computer to see how it exactly was identified and see if we can bring it back down to the various artists but I do'n't want it to bring every Aerosmith song with it because you can see how under the P all Aerosmith songs are listed. Because of this, when I go to hit the letters on the side such as T to find say, Tom Petty, it guesses that T is in-between the A and V so it jumps up to the top rather than going to the bottom where the Ts really are...
    Thank you so much!!!!

Tried this and was able to fully clear Aerosmith from the song info. but it is still causing this... Irritating, when I get another iPhone, and download everything as it appears on the computer (the song is no longer on the computer) will this reoccur?

  • HT1296 I recently purchased songs from my iphone.  All good...  But I then went to put them on my ipod touch.  They seemed to have downloaded but the songs wont play and the song title/the text, appears in a grey colour.

I recently purchased songs from my iphone.  All good...  But I then went to put them on my ipod touch.  They seemed to have downloaded but the songs wont play and the song title/the text, appears in a grey colour and there is a downlaod symbol in front of the song title.  what do i do next??  They play on my iphone and from the itunes library but not from my ipod touch.

If the songs are still on your ipod, make sure autosync is disabled in iTunes on your computer, connect and right click on it in the device list, then choose "transfer purchases" to copy all bought media and apps from your ipod to your computer.
If the songs are not on your computer and got deleted from your ipod as well, you can't get them back, unless you have a backup of your iTunes library as part of your computer backup.

  • Itunes match deletes random songs from my iphone, even if i re download them from the cloud, the next day another 3 or 4 are deleted by itself, anyone know a fix?

anybody know how i can fix this, i already tried to turn off itunes match off and on again on the iphone but it does not seem to work, also artwork once downloaded into the iphone it does not stay there, the next day its just a blank artwork and after the internet circles in the top left of the iphone stop spinning, i go back to my music library and then back to the song and it downloads it, but it does not stay there forever, any fix?
it would be kindly appreciated since this is a very annoying bug, specially the songs that just get erased from my iphone for no reason.

    Hi Kevinpnb,
    Welcome to the Support Communities!
Sorry to hear of your frustration with Music Match on your iPhone.  You should be able to delete the music from your iPhone by following the steps in this article:
iTunes Match on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5637
Deleting songs downloaded to your device
You can delete a song or album from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch at any time. Don't worry; it'll still be in the cloud.
    Tap the Music app.
Tap More > Songs at the bottom.
Scroll or search for the song you would like to delete from your device.
Swipe right to left on the song, and then tap Delete.
Note: You must be in Artists, Songs, or Albums view to delete songs from your device. Deleting from a playlist won't remove a song from your iOS device.
Also, this information can be found on page 64 of the iPhone User Guide for iOS 7
    http://manuals.info.apple.com/MANUALS/1000/MA1565/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf
Remove a song from iPhone. Tap Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete. The song is deleted from iPhone, but not from your iTunes library on your Mac or PC, or from iCloud.
If you have iOS 7, this will delete the song from local storage, but the song will still appear with a cloud symbol in the Music app, as you've noticed. To hide the iTunes in the Cloud purchases, navigate to Settings > iTunes & App Store, and disable "Show All: Music”
There may be a few orphaned songs on your iPhone that were partially downloaded or corrupted in some way. If that is the case, you can erase all of the music from your phone.  Follow the instructions below and select the Music app under Usage:
iPhone, iPad, and iPod: Understanding capacity
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1867
If the issue still persists, try backing up your iPhone to iCloud, and then restore it:
iCloud: Restore your iOS device from iCloud
    https://support.apple.com/kb/ph12521
I hope this information helps ....

  • How do I delete a song from my Itunes library? I follow the instructions and right click on the song and click delete from the drop down menu but, then it asks me if I am sure I want to hide this song in Iclouds? I dont even know what Iclouds is?!?! HELP!

How do I delete a song from my Itunes music library? I follow the instructions and right click on the song and then select "delete" as specified and my info claims at that point it will ask if I want to send this song to my trash bin, but, instead, when I try to delete the song, I get another window asking "are you sure you want to hide this song in iCloud? I don't even know what iCloud is?!?!? I don't want iCloud and just want to get rid of old songs!!! HELP ME!!!

    Short answer:
Click Hide Song(s), it is what you wanted to do...
    Long answer:
iTunes in the Cloud is a feature of your iTunes store account that allows you to redownload or stream your past purchases. When you delete a purchased track that is downloaded to your computer (like the first one shown here) you are asked if you also want to hide the song from iCloud. This would remove it from the computer and also stop it showing up with the iCloud symbol as the other tracks from that album (which are not downloaded) do.
If a track shows with the cloud symbol you can play (stream) it by double-clicking the title, or click the cloud symbol to download a local copy to your library. If you try to delete one of these tracks you get a slightly different message confirming that you want to hide the track. Clicking hide will remove the listing from the library and any other device that shows your past purchases.
Should you want to retrieve any item hidden in this way at a later date use Store > View My Account > iTunes in the Cloud > Hidden Purchases > Manage.
To hide all your previous purchases that are not downloaded to your computer use Edit > Preferences > Store and untick Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.

  • How do i delete a song from iCloud without having to subscribe to it?

How do I delete a song from icloud without having to subscribe to it? I've deleted the song from my iphone and my computer, but it is still in icloud, but I can not delete it. It keeps on wanting me to subscribe to icloud. Which it is not fair or right for me to have to pay to delete something. Would anyone please help me? I am using windows 7 home premium 64bit Operating system. The song is stil showing on my iphone, but i need to delete it from icloud for it to not show on my iphone.

    Hi,
If the song has been purchased from itunes store, you cannot delete the song from the cloud but you can hide it. - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919.
You do not need to subscribe itunes match which is a different product from itunes in the Cloud.

  • How to delete purchased tunes from iPhone?

I am undable to delete purchased tunes from my iPhone (4s, ios7.0.2)  I can delete all other tunes through syncing on iTunes. However, purchased tunes remain on my iPhone.  To the right of the title of the tune there is an image of a cloud with a arrow pointing downward.  This indicates that the tune is to be downloaded.  This is strange, as these tunes are already in iTunes.  I tried touching the cloud to download the tunes onto my iPhone.  Once all were downloaded, I went to settings, general, usage and to the music app. The I went to edit and delete.  This did no good. The tunes are still there.  I have tried this several times.  On my last attempt, I download the tunes again (on my iPhone), the synced with iTunes.  The tunes on my iPhone were temporarly gone, but soon came back.  I do not want any of these tunes on my iPhone at this time. I don't know how to get rid of them.

    Hi clydedrnd,
When you see the song with the cloud icon, that means that the song is not on the phone, but can be downloaded from iCloud. If you would like to permantly delete the song from iCloud, you may find the following article helpful:

    Hey renie1515,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
When you download past purchases on an iOS device or computer, that device or computer becomes associated with your Apple ID. This article describes how to manage these associations.
iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4627
Once a device or computer is associated with your Apple ID, you cannot associate that device or computer with another Apple ID for 90 days.
Note: Removing a device from your Apple ID does not override the 90-day timer. You must wait 90 days from the day the device was first associated with your Apple ID before it can be associated with another Apple ID.
    Have a nice day,
    Mario

  • How to re-add purchased songs from my account to another itunes?

hey, I had my laptop stolen and I'm currently borrowing one until I get a new one. I've changed my password etc. for my itunes account so it can no longer be accessed on my stolen laptop. But I'm wondering if it's possible to re-add my purchased songs from my itunes account onto itunes?! if so, how many is it possible to do this on, as I will be getting a new laptop in about 4 weeks time. Sorry for the really long question! lol

Fill out and submit this form to ask for a free redownload or purchase the content again, and when you get the new computer, right-click a song in iTunes, choose Get Info, find its location, copy all the purchased music to the new computer, delete it from the laptop, deauthorize it from the Store menu, and drag the copy on the new computer into the open iTunes window.
