Delete queued messages having env_from=

I have an iMS 5.2 on Solaris 8, but I cannot manage to delete queued messages having env_from = "<>".
Exact command I use:
qm.maint> clean -env_from= "<>" -delete -min_length=2
Can anybody help?

Actually, this sounds like a "Bad Idea". Messages from the server itself normally have no env_from, so you'd be removing notifications that mail did not go through. Perhaps if you explained why you wish to do this, we can help you achieve your goals a different way.

• Delete queued messages

Hi all,
We have IMS 5.2 running Solaris8. I am investigating the smtpout log files, the status attribute for the email shows that it cab be E for enqued, D for Dequed or some other status with error sending to the other smtp destination. Now in the imsimta queue management, if I need to delete only the emails with error status, how can I do this? I mean if I run the "held" sub command then delete it will not delete all the emails with error status, and if I run the "directory channel" then delete then all the emails will be deleted regardless of the status. Is there a solution ?
Many thanks in advance

I would first lengthen the "backoff" stuff, so queued messages don't get retried so often.
You can also reduce the notices timeout, though I would go gently, so you don't return valid mail for servers that may actually be down.

Hi,Can anybody help how to delete the messages from the JMS Queue. Thanks in advance.

You can dequeue the message using a JMS client or delete it using Weblogic Admin Console -

• How can I read non-deleted text messages from months ago without having to continuously press "Load Earlier Messages"?

I never deleted text messages from a specific person in case I ever wanted to go back and look at them. Now months have gone by and I don't feel like continuously pressing "Load Earlier Messages" for hours trying to get back and look at them. Is there anyway I can upload the whole conversation on to my computer and read the entire conversation from the beginning?

Yes.
I use iBackupBot.

• When I delete Hotmail messages from my iPhone, they still show up in my Hotmail inbox. What do I do?

I love checking my emails on my iPhone because of the convenience, but every time I delete a message on my iPhone, the message stays in my Hotmail inbox, and the next time I use my laptop, I have to delete tons of old messages. Is there anyway to make it so that when you delete messages via iPhone, they are deleted in your Hotmail inbox? Any help would be appreciated!

Did you solve your problem? I'm having the same issue!

• How to delete multiple messages in mail

How to select a bunch of messages in mail to delete.

I Wonder if your sitting there laughing at us as if there is some big conspiracy about selecti all and deleting all from our iPhones and iPads.
The conspiracy.
Why can we not just not select all in the mail inbox and then delete all, if we do not want to delete every single one of them then deselect the few that we do not want to delete instead of having to select the thousands we do want delete individually.
And if you do make a mistake and delete the wrong emails by selecting all, then go to your trash and reinstate the ones you did not want to delete
I think 99% of us know how to DELETE emails individually, as you put it.
That's just sarcasm and if not then then your not fully understanding the question asked.
I would also say that probably 99% of us want to be able to select all and delete all if that's what we desire.
I would just like a honest answer of why we cannot select all delete all rather than giving me a load of rubbish about encase we delete something we didn't want to delete.

• How to delete gmail messages in Mail for Mac

I am using Mail 7.3 on my Macbook Pro with Mavericks 10.9.5.
I use Gmail for my email.
When I DELETE a message in Gmail it goes into the Gmail Archive (and stays in the All Mail folder)- it does NOT get Deleted.
Gmail help says I need to drag each message to the Trash when using Mail as Delete will not work.
Really?
This is a drag to do, besides there is no Trash folder.
I have a 'Bin' folder and a 'Deleted Messages' folder so I'm trying to use them.
Still for Mail and Gmail not to be compatible for Delete seems crazy.
I have tried changing the Mailbox Behaviours in Preferences but it seems to make no difference.

• After updating to IOS 8, I can not delete individual messages, and the trash can is gone

After I updated on IOS 8, I can not delete individual messages, only delete all and the trash can is gone!!! Anyone else having this problem?

The option is still there - hold down on said text - more - then hit the trash icon.

• How can I trash and delete all messages at once in my Mail account?

I would like to be able to do the equivalent of a 'select all" and move all the messages in my Mail account into the trash, rather than having to move them one by one. Is it possible to do that?

Sorry, but it's not possible to select all in the mail app to delete all messages at once. One at a time is the way that you have to go.

hi,
Just deregister and re reigster your queues once again,
SXMB_ADM -> Manage Queues -> Register the Queues. You can restart the messages manually.
But, this problem is beacuse of the load and so would suggest tuning of your XI server.
Check this document for the same,

• How to Handle Queue Message with NO expiration

I come across a situation where i need to dequeue same message multiple times and upon reaching valid condition only i can discard the message. For this situation i can create a queue that has message expiration set to NEVER. But i didn't find the way to delete the message that has expiration NEVER.

• Trouble deleting text messages from Extravert 2

My daughter and I both recently got the LG Extravert 2 and have both had the same problem. I was the first to have the problem with not being able to delete messages, but I was able to solve it after turning my phone off and removing the battery for 30 secs. But I can't seem to get my daughters phone to do the same. I've made sure the messages aren't locked (I've even locked them and then unlocked them), I've checked all the settings, I've tried to delete all messages in the inbox, all messages from an individual, and deleting each message one at a time; none of which have actually worked. It always tells me that it has worked, but then it returns to the inbox and all the same messages are there. I don't get any kind of error message, or anything saying it can't complete the action. It's getting really frustrating because this phone doesn't seem to have that much of a memory for storing text messages, and once it's full, wont accept any new messages. Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?

That's about when I started having the same problem with mine. I actually just had to get a new one sent to me because the first one completely froze up on me and wouldn't turn back on. So far, no problem with the new one, but I haven't tried to delete anything. While on the phone with the tech person for that problem, I asked about the software update that Z1234 referred to, but she knew nothing about it. She recommended that I call LG directly and ask about it. I haven't done that yet, but will try this week.
I did manage to figure out a slight loophole. If you go to the main screen (press the lock button, slide or drag lock screen.. now you're at the main screen. Sorry, I have no idea about technical terms here! lol ) then slide to the right, it should come up with all your texts listed in order of when they were sent/received. Then open each one individually and then erase. Such a pain it the butt, but I was able to delete most of them. Had a lot of them still stuck though.
Anyway, glad to know that it's not just us, but sorry you're having the same problem. I know how frustrating it is! If I find out something new on the update, I'll try to post. We're leaving for a week long camping trip on saturday, so I'm pretty busy this week! But I know my daughter is going to be itching to get her hands on her phone again (just dropped her at camp today and phones aren't allowed!) so I'd like to get it figured out before we pick her up!
