    Hi folks,
We have a daily job, which runs at 18:00 hrs in the evening everyday in the APO Production System. The job is to delete all past due Purchase Requisitions for last 2 years (job & variant details are mentioned below) All the past due PurRqs are getting deleted from APO, which we have cross-cheked in RRP3 view many times.
However the same is not getting deleted in R3 systems. The planner/end- user is getting confused & hassled by this list of old PurRqs which is visible in R3 through MD04 t-code.

Do you run the CCR on a daily basis. If so do you see the "reqs missing in R/3" in the CCR ?
Also what is your transfer setting ? Meaning the transfer from APO to R/3 configuration  - is it immediate or change pointer based ? check that also

  • Mass Deletion of Purchase Requisitions

    Hello Gurus,
I have a unique issue. Our SAP system creates multiple MRP generated purchase requisitions on a daily basis and we do not have the manpower to delete each single PR using the ME52N transaction. I checked the MEMASSRQ transaction which is used for mass changes of PRs. However, in MEMASSRQ, there isn't any field mentioned particularly for deletion or blocking of purchase requisition. I found a BAPI, BAPI_REQUISITION_DELETE, but even this BAPI is used to delete the PRs one by one. Not for mass deletion.
Right now, there are around 4000 PRs in our system which are lying and we have to delete them all. So, I want your help in finding out whether there is a transaction/report available for mass deletion of purchase requisitions.
Your suggestions would be very much helpful for us.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Umakanth

    Hi,
Perhaps you can try to archive them. Check archiving object MM_EBAN. See not Note 123900 - Archiving purchasing documents/purchase requisitns for futher information.
    I hope this helps you

  • Mass purchase requisition deletion

    Hey Gurus,
We have changed some materials from planning to no planning in MRP.  the users would like the Purchase requisitions that have been created to be deleted now that we no longer plan these materials.
I checked MEMASSRQ and I also checked MASSD but I can't seem to find a way to set the deletion flag in mass using these two transactions for a purchase requsition.
Do you all have any suggestion of a tranaction to use to set the deletion flag for these purchase requisitions?
    Sincerely,
    Nina

    Hi Nina,
Do a recording via LSMW using ME52 t-code & you can then perform a mass deletion via the same. MEMASSRQ does not support deletion.
    Hope the above helps.

    Vivek

  • How to get the  special symbols in item description in purchase requisition

    hi,
My client requiremnt is when i write some special character like(u221E,u03B2) in ms-word and copy the text & paste in purchase requisition screen in item description field ,the special character appear has Square box(instead of u221E,u03B2).
kindly  guide me how to solve the issue.
    Thanks
    Muthuraman.D

Speak to the Basis guys, you need the necessary code pages (I think they're called). I'm still not sure if you can copy and paste from Word but the Basis guys may know.  Depends on standards used by SAP v MS (SAP tend to be good at following standards).
You also need to consider the knock on effect on programs e.g. reports that output text may need conversion to work with special characters.
It's not a quick fix type job.

  • Purchase Requisitions Archiving

    Hi,
I have archvied some PRs in the system. Now I am trying to <b>read the data with</b> the read program <b>RM06BR30</b>.
The problem is that I am able to read only few fields on the archived data.I am not able to read all the fields. For that I have Idea that a new scope has to be created.
Can someone tell me how and where a new scope can be created??
    Please help.Its urgent.
    Thanks,
    Supriya Manik.

    Hi All,
    Description
Up to Release 2.2, the following archiving programs are available
    RM06BX00 for purchase requisitions
These fulfill the following two functions in line with the SAP archiving concept that has applied to date:
    1. Writing of data to an archive.
    2. Immediate deletion of data from the database.
Because the programs perform both worksteps, occasionally situations are liable to occur in which non-archived data is deleted.
As of Release 3.0, the two functions have been separated from each other.
There are now programs that archive data, and others that read the archived data and then delete it from the database.
The new archiving programs are integrated into the existing archiving function.
There are also programs that analyze and display the archived documents.
The new programs have the following names:
    Archiving programs:
    RM06BW30 for purchase requisitions
    Deletion programs:
    RM06BD30 for purchase requisitions
    Display programs:
    RM06BR30 for purchase requisitions
The names of the archiving objects are:
    MM_EBAN for purchase requisitions
    Reward if useful.

  • Deletion of component in IW32 - DUMP ERROR due to purchase requisition ??

    Hello,
I created a PM order in IW31 with a component that is linked to a purchase requisition. The P.R. is not released. I want to delete this component in IW32 but when I try to, I get the following error message: Is it a functional issue or a basis issue ?
    Runtime errors         MESSAGE_TYPE_X
           Occurred on     09.12.2009 at   10:19:29
    >> Short dump has not been completely stored. It is too big.
The current application triggered a termination with a short dump.

that is what you have to analyze.
Goto ST22 for this. read the dump content. the first 8 pages will give you the most info.
it can be caused by program error of SAP, then you should search OSS to find a solution.
The dump gives you information about the keywords you should use for the search.

    Hi,
please check first if the report ZMO_CORRECT_EBKN  from note 739004  can correct the problem.
I would like to recommend you to check also the note 796973 whether the correction is avalilable in your coding, it should solve the issue.

  • MRP: Delete Purchase Requisitions and Create Planned Orders

    Hi there,
I have a scenario, where in a material (HALB) was marked as externally procured. MRP was run for FERT material. The dependent requirements for FERT were created. Planned orders of the HALB material were changed to Purchase Requisitions.
Later, the procurement type of material was changed to Inhouse Production.
Now, I want all the Purchase requisitions that were created to be deleted and Planned orders should be created when I run MRP.
I tried all the possibilities, but of no success.
Please lemme know if there is any possibility to delete the P.Rs and Create Planned orders by running MRP.
    Regards,
    ABC

I Haven't read the Plan order is converted in to PR Before
If YOU convert the plan order in to PR, system will firm the Requirement, YOU need to remove the firm indicator FIxed iD in PR Before doing the MRP Run Again
Do the following thing in PR
In PR Remove the  Fixed ID in Quantities and Dates tab of the item
and Rerun the MRP with Planning Mode 3 It will create a plan order

  • Release Strategy vs. Delete (Purchase Requisition)

When my Purchase Requisition hasn't got a Release Strategy I can mark it as deleted using BapiDelete from the Purchase Requisition business object. But when is has got a Release Strategy I can not. Is it right? Am I missing something? Or maybe haven't I got the privileges to delete an Item?

I am assuming that you are using the BAPI_REQUISITION_DELETE. If I look at the code, there is a comment that says '<b>Requisitions with dependent reservations won't be processed</b>'.
So if your requisition item creates a reservation then you will not be able to delete the item. It doesn't give you any error message but gives a warning message <i>'Subcontracting item & & not processed due to reservations'</i>for that. Here is the condition that it is checking.
    <i>IF xeban-pstyp EQ 3 AND xeban-rsnum NE space.</i>
So if you are deleting more than one item at the same time and one of them meets that above criteria, then it will not be processed for deletion, but you will see a success message because the other items are processed correctly. If you look at the entire return messages, you might find a warning message in there for the item that didn't get deleted.

  • Auto delete Purchase Requisition!!

    Dear,
I make a Material and attach that material in BOM and run MRP. I got the Purchase Requisition. Again I delete that material from BOM, and Run MRP. But the Purchase Requisition is still there. I want to delete the PR, when the material is deleted from BOM.
    Kandly help me in this.
    Regards
    Biswaranjan

Just assiging a material to a BOM will not effect that MRP plans this material.
It plans this material if you e.g. create a production order in reference to this BoM.
Removing the material from the BoM will not effect the MRP, you would need to change the existing production order  and remove the component there  as well (or delete the entire production order)

    Hello MM sapperu2019s,
I am unable to delete one of the line item in Purchase Requisition. Please let me know how to delete this Purchase Requisition line item.
When I tried to delete the line item in ME52N the delete button is gryed out hence I could not able to do it.
The purchase requirement has reference of network in the account assignment.
Please let me know if you need more clarification.

    Hi,
You are experiencing the stnadrad behavior
When the Preq is automatically created from either
a production, plant maintenance, or network, order, what you can change
in the PReq is very limited.
This is to ensure no conflicts arises between the PReq and the source
application of the PReq (be it PP, PM/CS or PS).
The technical explanation is due to the recorded value in EBAN-ESTKZ
(Creation indicator).  The value stored here (automatically by the
system) controls what you can or can't change in ME52/N.
We cannot delete the line item in this case
    regards,
    Lalita

1.)  How do I organized my photo album on my ipad?
2.)  How do I remove an album on my ipad?
3.)  i have taken over 1,000 photos on ipad, now it won't sync stuff to the ipad because it said there is not enough space.  I want to delete some past synced photos from the computer to create space, but I don't know how to find it on computer.  It sycned a portion of a file onto the ipad which is useless to me so I want to delete it all &amp; start fresh.
4.)  I was thinking about copying some of those photos over so it would show up as new data maybe then it would sync to my ipad as a new &amp; competed album.  Or will this create more problem because it would only be creating more photos?
5.)  By the way, I don't know how to use dropbox or anything like it, so I take photos of some files &amp; web screen that I use regularly to always have access regardless of internet access.  That is why I have so many photos.  But I want to be able to separate &amp; organized them by files, web screens, or topics.  I also want to be able to delete &amp; update as needed.
6.)  If needed I am willing to delete 4 G of downloaded app to create space.  Will this help the space issue?  Also could I just leave the downloaded app to my computer only &amp; only sync to to ipad as needed, since I don't need app as regularly.  I NEED "photo" ALL of the TIME!  I am out in the field, instead of carrying stack &amp; stack of papers, I carry ipad with photo of these daily needed papers!

1, you can't at the moment, though with iOS 5 in the Autumn, from http://www.apple.com/ios/ios5/features.html#photos :
Even organize your photos in albums — right on your device
2, by removing it from you synced from and re-syncing. Only photos taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad (either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it in thumbnail view)
3, the location of the photos that you synced to the iPad should be listed on the iPad's Photos tab when connected to your computer's iTunes.
4, you can copy the photos from your iPad to your computer : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 . You should also be able to delete them from the iPad as part of the transfer process to your computer, and it's then your choice whether to add them to your sync photo list so as to copy them back to the iPad. Copying them to your computer would allow you to organise them into folders and therefore be able to sync them back into separate albums.
5, I don't use Dropbox either. There are some third-party browser apps in the iTunes App Store that allow you to download pages so that you can view them when offline e.g. Atomic Web (the whole page is saved within Atomic Web, it doesn't place a photo into the Photos app)
6, deleting content should help. If you remove an app from your iPad then you also remove the content that it's got on the iPad - so if you then decide to reinstall it back onto the iPad then you will need to manually add back any content that you want in it. None of the Apple built-in apps (including Photos) can be removed from the iPad
