Delete Row/Line in a Sales Order document using B1if

Hi,
Is this possible to remove line (row) from sales order?

It is possible in DIAPI, using the Document-Lines.Delete() method.
Is there any way to do this with the BOM/BO xml in B1if?
Please, can someone at SAP clarify this?

Can you also check the SALES LINE.
Sales line is the combination of SALES ORGANISATION + DISTRIBTION CHANNEL +PLANT.
Hope it was not maintained.

Deletion of line items from Sales Order using DTW

Hi Experts
I have 160 sales which all require a particular item needs to be
deleted before they can be processed further. It is ths same item on every order but
doesn't appear at the same row number. In some cases it may appear more than once
on an order.
The line item needs to be deleted based on the row numbers which could be different on every order (LineNum)
Rather than have admin go through them 1 by 1 and delete the
row is it possible I can use DTW to perform an update on each row to delete it?
I'm not sure how to do this since I have only ever used DTW
to add or edit.

1. It is not possible to delete records using DTW, only importing new records or updating existing ones are supported. These are the only valid operations via DTW.
2. It is possible to delete the contents of an edit text field by using the character / or -1. However it is not possible to clear an entire row/line using this notation.

The BOM Item ( Main Item ) is having the 3 line items (Components / Sub items)
which are explode in the sales Order for which, if you delete the one of the
Component items in sales order then only 2 componets will delivery and 2 will be
billed instead of 3 components items. well this will be a problem for the customer
and leads to Customer Complaints.

Line break in sales order notes

Hi,
We use CRM 7.0.
When the user tries to enter notes for a notes type Info in sales order, the entire notes come in one line or it uses its own way of breaking the line. The issue out here is , when the user wants to enter two lines, it is nort accepting.
example: User wants to enter as
Test1
Test2
but after entering the same and clicking back and checkin the print preview of the order, it shows as below
Test1 Test2.
What could be the reason ?

We are going to be using a 3rd party to give us pricing, so we need to make a call for each line item to get prices. This may give us free goods, so we will need to add / remove lines from a sales order.

Selecting multiple lines in a sales order

Hello documentation says we should be able to select multiple lines in a sales order (for example to cancel them or remove them). Yet we cannot select more than one. Shift and Ctrl do not seem to work.
Any idea why this does not work ? We are running B1 2007A, patch 37.

Hi Fabrice,
if you have a sales order with hundreds of rows, use the 'Draw Document Wizard -> Customise' option to draw the required rows into the target document. Once all row data has been copied to the target, the row is greyed out in the sales order & can no longer be drawn. As long as the BP accepts partial deliveries, you may copy as much partial data to multiple target documents as necessary. Once you are finished with the sales order & there are rows still open, you may go to Data -> Close & hence close the entire document. There will be no need to delete the remaining rows.

I have to add line items to sales order .
I have tried adding the code in usr exit move field _VBAP // Check VBAP and in savedocument _prepare . But in all the places I dont see it in VA01 . I can see it in the VA02 and VA03 . But I am not able to save the order as they have made the flooring term as mandatory field, and I am supposed to populate the XVBKD structure for this.
Pls tell me whts the procedure like say , should I popluate the XVBKD / XVBAP / and should i use the bapi_SALES_ITEM_CHECK to populate the structures at the save_document prepare.

How to get Characteristic Values assigned to the line item of Sales Order?

I want to get the Characteristic Values( Variant Configuration )assigned to First Line Item of Sales Order.
I was using the Fn. Mod.: VC_I_GET_CONFIGURATION_IBASE,
this fn. mod. giving all the Characters but not the assigned characteristic values.
Is there any other way to find characteristic values of sales order.

Adding Schedule lines to a sales order

Friends,
We have a requirement to clear the old un-delivered scheduled lines from a sales order and then add new schedule lines from a EXCEL file. We were able to clear the old by putting in a new location. Then, when we go to enter the new schedule lines, it clears the location, marks the Fixed date and Qty, and enters the delivery dates and confirmed quantities. We tried using BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE, but the schedule_lines table only has the required quantity so when used it increases the order quantity, which is not good. Is there any Function module that we can call to insert new schedule lines without increasing the order quantity other than using a BDC? Thanks!

Maximum lines set on Sales Order view

Hi All,
This is happening with all sales orders with more than 8 items, where the rest of the items are not seen in the sale order after creation and save. For example 15 different type of material were sold to customer, the billing document view (VF03) showed all 15 line items, the delivery line items showed all 15 lines, but the sales order only showed the first 8 line items. The other last 7 items were not to be seen anywhere on the sales order.
Is there a maximum view limit on sales orders? Anyone else has had a similar case?

For the information in VOV8, the Display Range had 'UALL' in the field.
And wierdly, when I clicked on the Item Overview, all items (15 different types) are shown, but when going back into the Sales Order View for the same order, only the first 8 are shown.
The main problem here is that when doing a ZRE sales order, as we cannot do 'post goods receipt' for the 9th+n item.
I appreciate the help.

Contract not visible in sales order document flow

I am supposed to create sales order from Contract.The requirement is that only header data should be copied.Thus In Copy Control configuration I did not maintain item level and schedule line level settings for these document types. The issue is that after running the whole cycle from Contract -->SO --> Delivery --> Invoice when I see the Sales Order document flow I can see all other documents but not the contract.Also In Contract document flow I can see only sales order but not delivery and invoice.Please guide.

Update Document Flow option is available only at Item Level in copy control setting from Contract to Sales Order.
Check out your Copy Control Records at Item Level. There would be "2" mentioned in "pdate document flow" box.
2 means Create doc. flow records except for dely/goods issue/billdoc. Here you to maintain "X" for Complete Document flow.
