Delete Sandbox on exit issues ZAV 9.01

We have set most our ZAV apps to delete the sandbox on exit to make sure they startup according to corporate standards everytime - however it seems the sandbox does not get deleted on exit.
Even a simple notepad.exe app converted into a ZAV app does not delete its sandbox - we made that one to make sure that no unknown processes might keep sandbox files open and causing the cleanup not to function.
Does anyone have experience with this ? if you can confirm the problem we need to report a new SR to get the bug fixed :)

I have the same issue, If you search the locker you will find that sandbox is in use by the virtual application because you close the software window but in task manager you see application still running or XVM in case of stream or USB device.

I've seen this happen when the phone was encrypted... Other than calling apple/deleting passcodes I don't know of any solution.
If you're keen on waiting, upload your photos to dropbox, that's the way I do it.

The timing of a Commit doesn't depend on the size of transaction.

Delete pre/post-exits

hi,
is it possible to delete needless pre exits? I used this exit to enhance a standard web dynpro component method.
I placed one exit at the wrong method and it contains now no coding but its still there and I see no icon or context menu to remove it...

In the toolbar above the methods list, there are button for deleting pre and post exits - next to the "Find" and "Find Next" buttons.

User Exit issue after upgrade from 4.6c to ECC 6.0

Hi Experts,
After upgrade we are facing some issues regarding user exit. In 4.6c we have implemented several user exit to do customization in several module like SD,FI and HR. But after upgrade it has been identified that SAP has already provided this functionality in ECC 6.0. Now our problem is when this transactions are called or executed control is going to both custom and standard code. Which took long time to execute and causing performance issue.
Is there any ways to identify which are the functionality SAP has provided in ECC 6.0 so that we can delete our custom user exits.

List all the user exits which you have modified and check in OSS notes you will get the OSS note with all the details what functionality has been changed. Based on this you can delete or retain the user exits which ever you want.

Why Can I NOT Keep My Internet Explorer "DELETE HISTORY ON EXIT" Set

Ok I have been fighting this every since Windows 8.0 and NO success. Its like Microsoft coded I.E. to still hold onto all of my history and cache even though I have selected "Delete on exit". Also the Advance setting where it caches
sites files etc, NEVER deletes. I can perform the procedure, then close out. Turn off my computer and when I am back into IE. I get the "previous browser session closed yada yada.... do you wish to restore"..
Sure enough, when I 'restore' everything I 'deleted' still there.
and no, I didn't "cold-shut down' the computer where programs were still running (unless it is intentional that i.e. is still running even after ive closed and deleted history MANUALLY over and again)
Is there a better "3rd" party browser to use ?

Delete customized enhancement objects issue

Hello everyone!
I'm quite new to SAP, and I was trying to make an enhancement to display additional field in the Product Header area. I did some steps, but at some point wanted to start again and delete enhancement. When I've tried to do that with the button "Delete component enhancement" warning message appeared that enhancement is not empty. Then I went to tc sm34 cluster BSPWDVC_CMP_EXT and deleted controller substitutes and enhancement definition there. After that I wanted to delete obsolete objects from the Z package and that's the point where the issue comes in. When I select, for example, BSP Application or classes created by wizard, and try to delete them, GUI just hangs. No errors, no warnings. If I try to create enhancement again without deleting obsolete objects, it asks me if I want to overwrite the BSP application, that was created with my first attempt. If I choose yes, it hangs in the same manner.
Is there a way to solve this? Please advise.

I've actually followed note 1122248, but at the step: "Then go to the BSP components in the ABAP workbench (SE80) that are used to store the enhancements. Search for the obsolete objects and delete them" GUI just hangs.
In addition, even if I try to create new package, or class, or even save a program in a local object GUI hangs. Is it some global problem?

Basic finish date exit issue

Hello Gurus
I have a requirement to bring the basic finish date based on the priority calculation date from the maintenance plan for auto generated work orders. Since its defaults to the start date, I am trying to use the user exit : IWO10012 Maintenance order: Priority treatment on central header.
I talked to developer and it seems like he is facing issues on and off using this exit.He cannot figure out when it gets called. He has a debugging break point in the user exit which will take to the code of the exit whenever it is called. It gets called in some circumstances, but not in othersu2026 and he cannot find any reason to it. When it does get called, however, it does its job of updating the Basic Finish Date.
So what could be the issue in this situation ?

On the order side, This exit will only be called during create.I dont think this will be called on change mode or when the priority is changed.

Can't delete in app subscription issue

I want to delete old issues of a magazine i've subscribed in the Newstand.
I click on the issue, it shows the 'X' and a click in it. But.. nothing. The issue remains.
I have another subscription from the same publisher and it's ok in the deleting process.
I have iOS updated. The app updated.
I have deleted the app and reinstalled.
No changes.
Any ideas?

If the download icon is still shown, this means that the tracks are still in the cloud. Select them again and delete. This time you will get a warning message telling you that the track will no longer be available in match.
Is it your intention to completely delete those tracks. Do you have a back up?

Adobe CS5 error and exit issue

Hi There,
I have a computer installed Adobe CS5 suite, while using Flash CS5, sometimes, there will be error message like "Memery cant be read" or "Access error" and then after close the error message, CS5 exit, need to restart it.
I have tried to reinstall the OS and reinstall CS5, it just doesn't work, do guys have any good ideas on this?
Computer Hardware:
HP workstation xw8600
4 core cpu.
4GB memory.
OS: WinXP SP2.
Before install CS5, our company use CS3 and it works well for years.

Remove the all the files from
/Volumes/Mac HD1/Adobe Encore Projects/BD/AuthorScriptHDMVSessions/
This will resolve this issue.
This happens if any file corrupted in Volumes/Mac HD1/Adobe Encore Projects/BD/AuthorScriptHDMVSessions/ folder

Screen exit issue

Hi Experts,
The issue is that whenever the screen exit SAPLXM02 0111 is created within a customer project the package is being assigned as $TMP in the development system.
The project was earlier created and moved to testing by someone else and the screen was available in the testing.
But due to testing system refresh the screen is not available in testing now.
How can we move the subscreen SAPLXM02 0111 which is with $TMP to testing system from development system now.

$TMP object are can not be transported.
If you want to transport $TMP object you need to convert those object.
Use Tcode se03--> Object Directory -->Change Object Directory Entries
Selection By object:
LIMU COMM SAPLXM02 0111
Execute.
OR
Further Restictions:
Package $TMP
Person Responsible (Name)
Then Execute.
you can get Objects -->WES Original system --> $TMP --> SAPLXM02
Double click on item.
Save with your our package and request.

Delete Watermark with Macro Issue

I have macros currently to insert a DRAFT or COPY watermarks (just text, not using an image) into document(s). I have found when removing the watermarks it is removing the image int he header

A watermark is an image in the header, even a text Watermark is an image - WordArt. Your code is supposed all shapes in the header. Is your image inside a shape like a Textbox?
When I try your code it does not run.
If you are using a Ribbon version of Word and used Page Layout > Watermark to insert your watermark Word gives each new watermark a unique shape name. I'm not sure how. When it later inserts a different watermark, it deletes the previous one, by name.
I do not have an answer for you but will post some interim steps as I try to figure one out. This way you can see the process rather than just the end result.
Step 1: Use the macro recorder to get an idea of what Word is doing when it deletes a Watermark or changes one.

Additional thoughts/ideas.
One other thing that I did was create a Watermark building block that had white text 100% transparent. The WatermarkBlank macro above is a recording of the insertion of that, which deleted the existing Watermark. Again, though, it uses a specific name. I
can tell you that the name is NOT stored as a document variable.
If you were to cycle through the names of the images looking for "PowerPlusWaterMarkObject" at the beginning of the name that would work for watermarks inserted by Word 2010.
Can you get your code to change the transparency to 100% leaving the watermark there?

Command object Delete() and CommandNum property issues

FM11. I can't seem to get the Delete() method to work on commands, nor can I retreive the proper CommandNum property. For example:
cmd = DefineCommand(1111, "TestScriptCommand", "TestScriptCommand", "^q");
alert(cmd.CommandNum);
...the message box displays some other number, like 48 or something. Then, cmd.Delete() seems to have to effect, because the command stays active and remains on any menus where I placed it.
the Command() callback works OK. It properly executes on 1111 for the command.

Well, the following issue resolution is found in the v12.0.2 release notes, so maybe it was just a bug and is now fixed.
Unable to delete menus and commands through Delete() function.
