Delete SWF History?

Hi I am fairly new to Flash Development, but have started trying to bypass some of the more tedious tasks I've been running into.
I have Flash CS5.5 and I've noticed when updating BMP Asssets in my files, the file size will balloon in some cases to over 1GB
To fix this I back save it to CS4 purely because it deletes SWF History. the file seems to visually remain exactly the same.
That can sometimes reduce the file size to 1/10th of what it was in extreme cases (usually it's about half)
I then have to update the Publishing Settings to return to the current flash player and Resave it as CS5
That's quite a few steps to reduce the file size on many many files.
Apparently JSFL does not handle saving different versions or updating the flash player settings so I've been stuck doing it by hand.
My question is, is there a simpler way to do this?

I have Control > Clear Publish Cache, but that doesn't reduce the file size at all.
What I usually do is import a bitmap as part of sequence, but I have to embed it in the file, rather than leave it as a reference, because I send the result over a network.
When a change is requested, I just redo the image sequence in another program and update all the bitmaps. but that causes the .fla file to get larger each time it's done.
But since I have to send it over a network, each time an update occurs it would take longer to send unless I backsave it to CS4 and delete the SWF History.
can't find much reference to SWF History anywhere else. and it apparently doesn't affect the visuals of the file.
Even if there was a setting somewhere that would prevent the compiling of this history that'd be useful as well.
Though so far I haven't discovered it.

How can I make it to where you are not aloud to delete the history unless you have a password? Public Fox does not work because they can simply go to "Show All History" and delete from there.

Sorry, Firefox doesn't have a password feature for browsing history, and I haven't seen an extension for that.

I can not delete my history and adding new bookmarks. Upgrading to later Firefox versions and/or re-installing didn't help. The address bar still shows the web addresses of old and whenever I make new bookmarks, it's always gone as if it was never made.

Also, I have noticed that every once in awhile you can not close tabs you've opened, either by pushing on the X button and/or clicking on the mouse to close it. Although closing the window and opening it again (without closing the Firefox application) seemed to rectify the problem in the short term, it's becoming quite annoying.

First, download the add-on SQManager. This should be included with FireFox, it is really good.
Look for the file '''moz_hosts''' in the folder '''places.sqlite'''.
Don't delete the file, just delete the information in the file. My file has over 3600 websites, which go back years!! I did not know they were there, but I was frustrated about not being able to get rid of them. They popped up every time I used the address bar. Clearing my history would not get rid of them.
This is where they are stored!! I found that by deleting the pesky web site from '''moz_hosts''', it does not appear in my address bar anymore!!!
I think that if I just delete all the websites in moz_hosts....

As long as you don't delete the file, just empty it, FireFox won't know the difference. It will just keep adding websites to it until you empty it again.
Why running "clear recent history" doesn't do this, I don't know. You are doing manually what "clear recent history" is not doing.
Please tell me if you see any flaw in this.

After you click on history on the menu bar, you are going to want to go to the bottom of the dropdown to where it says clear history. If Private Browsing doesn't do it, try Settings-Safari-Advanced-Website Data-Remove All Websitre Data.
Or changing Settings-Safari-Autofill to OFF.
You might also try Settings-Safari and Clear History and Clear Cookies and Data.
As you can see, there are several controls for Safari. Which one works depends on what your problem is.

If it happens again the make sure that you aren't suppressing website colors.
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

If you close Safari completely e.g. via the taskbar, and then go into Settings > Safari and click Clear History and Clear Cache, then when you re-open Safari you should just get an empty page.

If you regulalry back up your phones in itunes, and havent backed up your phone since this happed, then connect to itunes, click on the restore button under the summary tab and restore your phone from your back up. Then turn on private browsing after thats done.

You can't delete your purchase history, you can only hide it (in iTunes on your computer).

Deleting search history

Hi there
So here's my problem
When I search something from the browser and would like to delete search history it's not totally being deleted...
I've tried going to the 3 dots tapping clear history and clearing cookies and other data
But whenever I go to the integrated search between the call and camera icons and type in the keywords it all shows up in suggestions ( links to all the pass sites I been on)
I've went into settings tapped on search tapped clear search but nothing happens it's all there
So my question is how to I delete those search suggestions when I type from the integrated search icon on BlackBerry z10???

there must be a way to completely delete all those saved history links other than completely security wiping the phone...
Let's recap.
1) Clear the history and cookies/data as you noted in your first post.
2) Then go to the home screen > Settings > Search. Tap Categories. Scroll down to Browser and clear that checkmark. (Uncheck it.)
3) While still in search, tap History > Delete Search History.
After these steps, your device should have no record of web sites you've browsed, except those with bookmarks saved. You could also do a restart for good measure.
