Delete the encryption password with backups

Hi, I setup the password for iphone backup in itunes a while ago. Now I cannot get it thru as it keep saying my password wrong. I did it in a hurry so I might have either forgot the password, or I typed the password wrong to begin with... So I am trying clear it. I thought I was able to delete the old backups so the password will be cleared. While I do a new backup I can reset the password for it. But i didn't work. I am not sure if I am in the right path. Can anyone help me on this?

I have Oracle 10g in my system. I know dba_users table has information of all the created users of the oracle, along with their encrypted passwords.If I want to make a login page based on this table ,how could I compare the password in that case?

Why can't I reset the master password with the option of removing all username:passwords by unchecking "Use Master Password"? Currently, there seems to only be the option to issue a "chrome:" command in URL which DOES reset the master password. However, it was something that I had to google. The intuitive option would be to uncheck the "Use Master Password" checkbox, receive a verification dialogue, and blammo, password reset. Please make this a feature, thank you.

Sorry, for being unclear. Essentially this is a feature request for an option under Firefox options (why not?) to reset my Master Password not knowing the Master Password. For Security reasons I understand why all the saved passwords have to be wiped, but wiping the Master Password (having forgotten it) should be an option without having to issue an arcane command that one has to google to figure out.

double clicking in iPhoto will open the photo.
The left and right arrow key will move between photos, as well as swiping on a trackpad or Apple mouse.

While selected or in the smaller icon view hitting the Delete key will delete the pic.
Command Z will undo the last action taken.
Periodically you have to empty the iPhoto trash. iPhoto drop down menu>empty trash
Same applies for viewing pics in a Folder NOT in iphoto, Use the up and down arrows does not work in Preview, but as you know in QuickLook (spacebar) the up and down arrows will navigate.

The user had by mistake posted the the document in a wrong GL with with WBS element under the Project.
We have tried to reverse it through a reversal posting. But it could not be done.
Client wanted to delete the document created with the wrong GL with the WBS element.
How this can be set right?

Am deleting the master password but the "Remove" button is disabled.

Am deleting the master password in firefox preferences/security but the "Remove" option is disabled. Why? and how do I enable it? Thank you!

You can set the master password to an empty string to disable/remove a currently set master password.

Have you signed out of your iTunes account on the device/computer that you are using and signed back in with the updated password ? That should 'refresh' the account on it, and you should be able to use the account's new password to download updates to its apps

Why can't I create a new backup if I don't remember the encryption password from an old backup?

I imagine this is so it can simply edit the old backup, but can't I just create a new backup?

Same issue. Have deleted the old backup and can't create a new encrypted backup without the password for the old backup. Can't create an unencrypted backup without the password for the old backup. This is a functional software defect that Apple needs to fix.
NOTE: I AM NOT TRYING TO ACCESS THE OLD BACKUP, I JUST WANT TO CREATE A NEW ONE.

iTunes will continue making encrypted backups until you deselect the Encrypt backup checkbox in the iTunes Device Summary screen. You need the backup password to disable backup encryption or to restore from an encrypted backup.

I want to store passwords in a data table.
The passwords must be encrypt with a keyword. The idea is that we need this keyword to decrypt the password.
So only the users who knows the keyword will be able to decrypt the password stored in the table through a specific transaction.
Do you know if there are function modules which can make this kind of encryption / decryption ?

Thank you for that. These function modules are urban legends caused by their misleading names.
Last I heard, they will be deleted in a future release.

Well, you can and should protect that in a productive environment... (the ability to display, and execute, the FM - see SAP Note 587410).

Then you will need to prompt the user for a password, before the decryption.
So there are 2 issues:
Password prompt
You can create a symbolic user without any access (roles) and manage it's password. Before the decryption, check that the calling user at least knows the password of this user.
You can do this locally in the same client (see report RDDPWDCHK for coding examples - carefull, it updates the "lock count" for failed password attempts now) or remotly using an RFC connection without saved login data to a different client or system. The latter can be usefull, as the ability to set the password = the ability to decrypt.
Encryption / Decryption
You will need to save the algorithm somewhere, or use an existing function which offers the ability to decrypt. Obviously, the latter option can bypass your prompt...
One way of doing it would be to write your own external RFC server program which does this task, and protect it.
Another way would be to store the sensitive parts of the code in an encrypted file which can only be accessed from your program context. It would then only be "visible" at runtime. In this case, folks could also access the hidden parts via developer traces or short dumps or debugging.
Restricting access to the "real" code is the easiest option, and other more complicated approaches generally require restricted access anyway.

How do I delete the BIOS password on my Satellite A200?

Dear Gentlemen:
I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop A200 - 10N with MODEL NO. PSAE3E - 02D00HGR and mistakenly got a password when you turn on your computer and is lost, the fact is that it is not known whether it was from the BIOS or from the utility that you have in the Windows Vista operating system.
In any case it would have to reset the BIOS form or in some other way to make it as at the beginning and not ask any password.

Bad news the BIOS cannot be deleted or removed if you dont know the old password.
In such case there is only one way to get the notebook password free you have to contact the ASP in your country and the guys could do this job.
